I spent four years doing my trade and I received trade certificates from the Army as well as from the Victorian Trade Board.

People think we march around, we shoot guns, we get yelled at.
It's really not the case at all. We're just everyday people and we get to do everyday things.
I go home every night, feed the dogs or just go for a walk or do whatever the normal person does.
I go to pubs and cafes, I live with my girlfriend.

I used to be like a really shy little girl, whereas now I look at them in the face and I say,

My girlfriend would tell me, if you find a job that you love then you'll never work a day in your life.
