Kiyosu vs. Kiyosu From this corner, And the winner is... Zopfi Zolti! The first match of the day will be 30 minutes of one-on-one match. The winner is... Taura Kiyoshi! The first match of the day will be 30 minutes of one-on-one match. The first match of the day will be 30 minutes of one-on-one match. Dennis Kozlowski of the USA, the big American lost his first four bouts, but now he's won his last two. His latest victory against Kakihara far and away his best. He's coming to terms with the UWFI style. Tonight will be his toughest task so far. Now let's get ready to see a good wrestling match, a scientific and technical wrestling match as both fighters. Dennis Kozlowski who's a great amateur wrestler. He was in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics winning the silver medal. And Kiyoshi Tamura from the UWF International who is a great wrestler himself. He has striking techniques but he's one of the purest wrestlers in the UWF International and I'm hoping just to see a great fight of groundwork tonight. Yes, that's definitely on the cards. Kozlowski fighting out of the red corner. Tamura out of the blue corner. Kozlowski in his all-American royal blue singlet. Tamura in the red trunks. And this is going to really be a statement for the UWF International if Tamura can take this one because I expect to see a wrestling match from start to finish. Being these two guys being pure wrestlers and if he can beat this Dennis Kozlowski who has the size and strength advantage as well as the experience, it's really going to be a statement. Well, shoot signs being offered to Kozlowski. Kozlowski though has warmed to the UWFI style of fighting so I'm sure this is going to be as you say no easy push over for anybody tonight. Although it took a little while for Dennis Kozlowski to catch on with those four losses that he incurred when he first came, he won with a stunning victory over Miyato, a big upset and also he last fight around he fought Kakihara and took it with a Boston crab right in the middle of the ring and he's really adapting well to his style. But still he's a pure wrestler and so is Tamura and I'm really looking forward to seeing what's happening. Well both fighters starting with 15 as we see here Tamura trying to kick his way free but Kozlowski dumping him on the canvas. Well Tamura loses a point for that suplex but he wasn't hurt at all. Dennis Kozlowski really didn't really get under his center of gravity. Nice neck throw and he's trying to set up a submission on Tamura. And there's obviously people in the crowd for the Tamura fan club as they repeatedly call out his name. What should I say the single member of his fan club. Seeing you face at the bottom of the ring one of the young fighters who's waiting for his first debut match. It's amazing I've watched throughout most of these bouts and matches the younger fighters are almost right on the edge of that canvas looking at every single move. Well they want to pick up any kind of tricks they can they want to have as many weapons as they can they really want to be well equipped when they have that first match. And Tamura so far holding his own against this more experienced and bigger and stronger American great classic wrestler. I was about to say Kozlowski was holding his own against the much fancied skilled faster wrestler but there you go. And I'm really surprised because I expected Dennis Kozlowski to be taking control of the ring and taking control over young Tamura but I don't know what's going to happen. I have to just see to the end he's proven me wrong. Tamura is doing really showing a great account of himself and I'd say they're so far at least they're pretty equally matched. I think Tamura is one of the most exciting fighters in UWFI when he chooses to be. I think it's a case of whether he chooses to go to work tonight. We know that his arrogance and his confidence which make up this very prospective great fighter sometimes can go off the boil. I'd possibly say possibly Tamura might have the advantage in that he is more experienced in submission holds than Dennis Kozlowski who is an amateur type wrestler. Otherwise like I said before size, strength, experience everything has to go to Dennis Kozlowski. I'd go along with that analysis but chutes sign there. Off it to Tamura. And we've seen Dennis Kozlowski beat Miyata with a cross lock arm bar which he's trying to apply right now on Kiyoshi Tamura. And Tamura is really good at blocking and defending against those submission holds and he's a submission type fighter who never forces his way in his submission. He finds an opening and he glides into it and he just catches you right as soon as you make a mistake. We hear people cheering on Tamura. Yes and there are now a few of them cheering on Tamura. Seems to be winning them over. Do you see that belly to belly suplex almost picture perfect. Tamura loses a point for that. I don't know if he's feeling that or not but anyway Dennis Kozlowski was able to get him on his back and he's setting up a pretty good chance for a submission on his arm. I mean yes some quite excellent technique being demonstrated by Kozlowski. But Tamura game extremely fit and glistening with pride. I'd say stamina wise they're pretty equal too so far. Yes Kozlowski I mean any Olympian especially within the demands of wrestling will be extremely fit and have a good engine. And you know something Jeff you know what this looks like it's a little different. I was going to say well we just saw a knee there in a side suplex. I was going to say that this kind of looks like an amateur wrestling match almost. I agree with that 100 percent. Great technique great skill but as you said you and I know there's going to be a submission there and that's what the crowd's waiting for. No pins just submissions and submissions believe me are deadly. Once again trying to shoot probably for that cross lock which he's been successful with in the past. I suppose the one thing we do know for sure is because Lousky now fighting under UWFI is there certainly no return to an Olympic identity for him. Well there's Achilles tendon hold by Dennis Kozlowski there's talk about him going to the 96th Atlanta Olympics. He might be heading up the team the American team there but we'll have to see. Well maybe his reputation here will enhance that but we know the amateur professional codes becoming more and more closely drawn together. But back to these two as they battle it out in wrestling supremacy. I'll bet he'll pick up a few good tricks if he does head up the American team in Atlanta in 96. You can bet your life I think a few people could be in for a few shocks. Nice ankle lock by Tamura. Yes there's a classic situation where the double chute side wasn't even needed because Lousky made it to the ropes. And after all this time the score is 14-13 pretty much equal. I think which bears out your pre-fight predictions evenly matched the advantages leveling it all out to either side. Once again going for the heel hold. Like I said if Tamura takes this one they're both wrestling he's fighting and he makes him escape to the ropes. If Tamura can beat Dennis Kozlowski the great amateur wrestler at his own game it's going to really be a statement for the UWF International. See that beautiful ankle lock. Yes we've not seen one strike or one kick from Tamura neither Kozlowski. I think there's as you say a hell of a lot in this personal pride as well as the respective agencies. Well Tamura takes him down once again and trying to set up that submission. Kozlowski doesn't look like he's in immediate danger he's going to try to reverse it which he probably can. He could bridge out from that and flip him over probably but they'd roll in the ropes and they'd be in the standing up position. Which would favour who? I'd say in the standing position since Tamura isn't throwing any strikes and wants to take him on in wrestling I'd say that Dennis Kozlowski would have to have the advantage. Well it's Tamura who seems to have the advantage at this precise moment in time as Kozlowski tries to work his way out. As Tamura gives him a little bit of an ease as he tries to find a far more advantageous opportunity. Possibly Speed would have to go to Tamura if he can get under him under centre of gravity and take him over. Dennis Kozlowski with the knees trying to do that side suplex again but you notice that beautiful reversal by Tamura that was excellent. You notice how he blocked his side suplex and took him right over. Yes it was a great move and the first strike surprisingly coming from Dennis Kozlowski but responded to beautifully by Tamura. Tamura is trying to set up for the sleeper hold which is one of his specialties. If you can remember he put away Mathew Saad Mohamed with that sleeper hold. He's trying to do it on Kozlowski right now but Kozlowski is doing good at defending him. This would do anybody with a bad deck no good whatsoever. I mean these fighters are so flexible. Shoot sign there for Tamura. Tamura has put away so many opponents to sleep with that sleeper hold. I wonder how he wakes them up but they're both the crowd really wanting something from Tamura. They want the victory, he wants the victory but standing in the way of that victory Dennis Kozlowski. I don't think that Tamura wants him to wake up after he puts him away. Right now Dennis Kozlowski is trying to go for an arm lock. He can't find that leverage. It looks like he's working his way into it but Tamura is so good at defending against those submissions. He doesn't fight him he just moves away out of him. That could have been bad. It was hard to see at that angle. Yeah he looks in trouble. He might have fallen on the shoulder or something from that suplex. First time Tamura had to clear his head a little bit. Doesn't seem too disturbed or distressed. We'll have to wait and see. Back drop. Kozlowski kind of felt bad on his right shoulder. He kind of fell on his elbow as well. He wasn't able to break the fall with his hands on that drop. Well Kozlowski clears his head. Tamura relaces his boots. And you want to know something interesting. Dennis Kozlowski by day is a chiropractor. And I think he might need some of that treatment tomorrow. He's going for the Achilles tendon hold right now. Talk about self help therapy. Shoot sign for Tamura. A facial expression that would show slight discomfort even by Tamura's standards. And Tamura not immediately escaping to the ropes. He's just looking for a way to counter it. You notice Tamura is one of the fighters who doesn't really jump to the ropes as soon as he's caught in a submission. He just waits for a chance that he can counter his opponent's move and use his own strength against him. Yes, great technical ability. Tenacious will to win. But Kozlowski as we know has the same burning desire. Kozlowski trying to move out of that hold and see an opening. But Tamura has the upper hand right now. Kozlowski assessing the ring, looking for the ropes, finding them, deciding to give a point away. There's not too much been given away points wise. Both fighters starting with 15. Dennis Kozlowski gave up on that exchange. He wanted to be standing up again. And Tamura doesn't, he hasn't even broken a sweat yet. As we know, both fighters incredibly fit. Modified single leg Boston crab. Yes, and Tamura knows that could be trouble. He tries to make for the ropes. No he doesn't. He's dragged out. He looked like he was trying to counter it, but there he goes. He made for the ropes then. 12 points each. Close battle. Great all round wrestling ability being demonstrated by both fighters. Kozlowski just waiting to see an opportunity to grab him and possibly suplex him. Probably a belly to belly or belly to back suplex. The crowd, a very educated crowd who can understand this scientific type of wrestling are really appreciating this confrontation right now between Tamura and Kozlowski. They appreciate the magnitude and meaning of this match and they know how much the win means to either fighter. Oh good, good ankle lock. Oh he took it. He whipped it out of nowhere and Dennis Kozlowski really didn't expect that. Oh there's no way out from that. And I'm sure Dennis had a lot of stamina left in him, but he really didn't expect that ankle lock. Your winner for tonight, Kyoshi Tamura. An impressive win over Olympian Dennis Kozlowski.
