Next up, comeback man Billy Scott against Yoji Enjo. From that corner, Yoji Enjo enters the ring! This is the 7th match of the day. It's a 30-minute one-on-one match. Blue corner, 220 pounds. Billy Scott! Billy Scott from Nashville, Tennessee is best remembered for his win over former IBF world boxing champion James Waring. After taking a year out, the highly rated American returned to Japan to face Takada and lost, but he gave the champion a lot of trouble. Blue corner, 220 pounds. Yoji Enjo! Yoji Enjo from Saitama, well his confidence must be high after defeating Tatsuya Nakano last time out. He's an all-round fighter feared most for his powerful kicks and knee strikes, but once he's on the ground his arm locks are broken. He's an all-round fighter feared most for his powerful kicks and knee strikes, but once he's on the ground his arm locks are broken. Well, this is going to be a real interesting bout. This is another rematch between Billy Scott and Yoji Enjo. Their first confrontation was a little while back in Tokyo's Korakuen Stadium where Billy Scott made Enjo submit. And their second one was in the United States and this too Billy Scott had made Enjo submit, which was a surprise to everybody in the UWF International feeling that Enjo had superior weapons and more artillery striking technique and submission experience. But we know Billy Scott, he's a real tough boy and he really proves he goes against the odds and many times comes out on top. Yes, Enjo will be wanting to stop what will seemingly be a dominant psychological advantage by Billy Scott. He's really going to work here. Enjo's serious about this, but once again, like I said, Billy Scott, the boy who defies odds from Nashville, Tennessee, going right after him and he's trying to set up an Achilles tendon hold, take Enjo down to the ground right away, a strategy which has worked for him in the past. Billy Scott in the light green trunks, Enjo in his familiar zebra striped tights, shoot sign being offered to Billy Scott. Scott is really durable and brave. And it's his heart and guts that wins a lot of these matches for him. Enjo must be doing a balancing act on Billy Scott's body. He's ready to go. He's showing that he's certainly not intimidated and those two losses that he incurred aren't bothering him. Yeah, crowds saying, Enjo, looking for something. Scott almost spinning him like a top. A little slip by Enjo trying to get out of that. Once again, in the middle of the ring and Billy Scott is trying to set up one of his submission holds on Yoji Enjo, who's defending pretty well at this stage. But Enjo realizes that he's not going to be defending all night. He wants to dish out some punishment on this boy from Tennessee. Well, we're getting some crowd participation. Someone's entertaining the crowd other than Scott and Enjo. Still looking for the opening, but Yoji Enjo hasn't exactly given Billy that opening that he's looking for. And it was Scott there who drove his elbow into Enjo's back. Nice reversal. And he's got that straight shoulder arm bar. Good evasive wrestling from Billy Scott. Good entertainment from somebody in the crowd. He'll hold and he's got Billy Scott in trouble. A little bit too close to the ropes though. Still attacking that leg. Oh, there was a clenched fist there. I think more intent than actual deed there from Enjo. Trying to go for the double wrist lock, but doesn't have quite the leverage. He still has that leg lock on and he's going for the hammer. He's going for the leg lock and he's once again he's trying to go for that heel hold, deadly hold, which attacks the knee. It puts a pressure against the knee. Scott's dumping on Enjo. Scurrying to get the upper hand there. Billy's doing a real good job of smothering Enjo. Enjo hasn't had too much chance to throw any of his strikes. No, he hasn't. And surprisingly so. But he's looking at Referee Wada. And whatever he's doing, certainly striking according to this crowd. Warm applause. Scott's showing slight bruising on the left side of his head. That was from earlier in the bout with Yoji Enjo's open hand blows. He's starting to swell up. It looks like a bruise. His eyes don't look swelled up. I think he'll be alright. As long as he keeps Enjo on the ground, he doesn't want to be standing up too much. One thing we've noticed with the UWFI fighters, I mean they've got a cult following now. They've even got the nation's leading fighters who are widely respected, the sumos actually attending their bouts. Do you think part of the showmanship is a more relaxed approach now that they are well established and respected? Well, I don't know what it is, but one thing I do know is that in the UWF international fights, you always have two fighters who give it 200%. They put all their heart and guts into it, and they work hard, and they train hard, and they really show it during the match. And they have real hard, devastating battles. They have wars in the ring. And I think that's why the Japanese crowd has grown to appreciate them. Okay, well, Billy Scott certainly has a lot of heart here as Enjo looks to avenge a flying knee strike. And another one. Scott in trouble. He's going to have to pick, yep, he's going to have to take him down to the ground. And that he does successfully. Trying to set up for the face lock right now. Enjo just saying there, he's probably thinking about his next strategy. He's probably thinking four or five moves ahead how he's going to try to put Billy Scott. I'm sure he's still, he doesn't want to do the same mistakes as he's done before. Look at that. That was close. Beautiful double wrist lock, and Billy Scott was really in trouble. He knew it coming. And you notice how Enjo was trying to twist him back in the ring, but Billy Scott moved along with him to the ropes. Good stuff. Enjo now using a palm strike, leg kick combination. And we've talked about Bad News Allen in the past, but one thing that we, many people don't know, Enjo also has a judo background. He's been in judo as well as kickboxing, so he knows a lot of judo submissions as well, and I'm sure we'll see some of them tonight. Oh, Scott showing the effects of that, very effective. Even though Scott has beaten Enjo in the past, by no means has it been an easy win for him. No, it was born out of guts and seeking and seizing the opportunity. But that bruise on the sides of his head beginning to swell a little bit more. Well, as long as nothing's obstructing his view, he'll be alright. Enjo trying to attack Billy Scott's knee right now. And Billy Scott's left knee driving his way into Enjo's face, but he's in pain. That right leg, that right knee is in trouble. I think he's losing leverage right now as Billy Scott takes him over. Enjo hasn't exploded on him yet, but let's wait and see as soon as he stands up right now engaging in wrestling. And Billy Scott has done an excellent job in defending against the kicks and running into him and trying to smother those strikes so he can take him down to the ground. Can't be denied. Fighters brought back into the center of the ring. Did you notice how Enjo faked him out? He pretended to go with a left kick and then threw a low kick with the right side and it's working. One of those kicks found its mark. First kick to seriously worry Scott winced at that. Nice hand blow to the midsection and Enjo's down. Got knocked off balance. Yes, Billy Scott feeling very comfortable with his strategy. He knows it works for him. He's not being too adventurous, sticking to his game plan. And Billy Scott I notice is really quick to capitalize on his opponent's mistake. You notice Enjo was kind of off balance and as soon as he hit him to the midsection he quickly rushed into him and took him down to the ground. Shoot sign offered to Billy Scott. Still looking for that one submission hold that could put an end to this bout in less than a second. Attacking the knee once again. Outstretched arm of referee Wilder not even being acknowledged. Not even being looked at by Billy Scott. He's so intent on finding some way out of the predicament he's in. And not only is he applying pain in submission to Billy Scott's knee right now, it's also given him a breather and a time to think about his next move and what he's going to do as soon as he stands up. He'll hold. Once again attacking the knee. You notice all of Enjo's submission holds are attacking Billy Scott's knee tonight. Yes and Billy Scott knows it. Being dragged back to the center of the ring. He's going to find those ropes. Something's got to give here. He might take back those losses. That might be it. He's in the middle. Oh he made it. Great stuff. Billy Scott. He took a lot of pain. And Enjo almost using him as a trampoline at one stage. Bouncing for that extra leverage. Yeah he was in the middle of the ring. I'm surprised he got to the ropes. I thought that was it. Oh bad. Low kick for Billy Scott. Resists the throw by Enjo. What a game fighter. Nice takeover suplex. I think a third victory here for Scott would certainly start putting doubts in Enjo's mind as to whether he can really take this fighter. Well I'm really surprised because I would think that Yoji Enjo has so many more weapons. He can stand up and he can be on the ground. And he has a lot of experience with the submission holds. But Billy Scott with his heart and guts always seems to defy the odds. And possibly he could do it once again tonight which would really be a statement. Yes a true statement of intent by Billy Scott. And a message to the other UWFI fighters. The shoot sign offered to Enjo without response. Enjo's left leg. And he kicked him on the break and I don't know if referee Wada is going to take off a point for that. Well I think Scott overreacted a little bit there. But I think Enjo's going to react in his own way. Enjo's certainly not going to take that. And he's showing Billy Scott that he's not going to just sit there and be punched around. Enjo being encouraged. Encouraged from the spectators in the crowd. Enjo once again trying to attack that left leg. Possibly the leg that was possibly a leg which could have some damage left over from that Takata match. And it's Enjo getting the shoot sign. Although to many of the viewers you may well expect Billy Scott to get the shoot sign. Look how he set up that double wrist lock. We see a shoot sign by Wada and Billy Scott once again in trouble. If that wrist that's trapped in Billy Scott's side gets moved behind his back that could well be it. Well Enjo gave up on that. Pretty good defense by Billy Scott but now Enjo you notice if he couldn't do that move he quickly tried to switch it into a cross lock arm bar. But you see Billy reversing it. Great escapism by Billy Scott but still in trouble. He's still in danger for a reverse cross lock on the arm and once again Enjo flips him over. Good grip by Billy Scott but Enjo knows leverage and he knows how to break that grip. He might be wanting to inch his way to the ropes right now. Yes and that grip looking ever weaker by the second. Billy Scott's face looking red. But he moves to the middle of the ring once again and he's got Enjo's ankles. Well if he just reverses that. Oh this could be dangerous. Could be and it looks like it's beginning to be. Oh this is close. This is close. Enjo nodding in defiance made it to the ropes 13 each. Incomplete but almost he almost had it there and I know that took a lot out of Enjo. As Enjo loses a point escaping to the ropes he felt he couldn't counter that one. Oh strike kick combination. Nice hand blow. Billy Scott in trouble. He's shaken up. Yes he's lost his focus. He can't quite fix on Enjo. He wants to break the distance down and get that action back on the floor. Enjo looking like he's about to do a front face lock but he takes. He's trying to go for a hammer lock or a double wrist lock on Billy Scott and he's going to try to probably flip him down to the ground in that but Billy Scott takes it back with his own knee. Good throw by Billy Scott. What Angelini caught Billy Scott with his back to do to him. In the middle of the ring that's it. Beautiful. Did you see that finish? He got him in a double wrist lock from a standing position. Took him over and held on to the submission right in the middle of the ring. Pulled him away from the ropes with that throw. No way out for Enjo. Win number three for Billy Scott. Well after a long absence your winner for tonight Billy Scott trying to work his way back up on the ladder of UWF International. He certainly won my respect tonight and I'm sure he won the hearts of many fans tonight here as he defeats Yoji Enjo for the third time. And as we see here for the highlights from this bout Enjo on the ropes in more ways than one. He got the heel hold right there and I thought that was going to be it right then. I'm surprised that Billy Scott escaped to the ropes with lightning speed. And this was another moment where we thought it was all over but Enjo showed great resilience. Made it to the ropes yet again. And this was the perfect finish. He got a hammer lock on him in a standing position. Took him over and held on to it. He dragged him in the middle of the ring with that. Yes Enjo now okay back on his feet. Both men shaking hands but a very dejected. Yoji Enjo leaves the ring. Well I'm sure this isn't going to discourage him. I'm sure he'll be back. He always comes back from a defeat and always shows what he's made of. But this man showing what he's made of. Arms aloft. A very confident Billy Scott.
