Yoshihiro Takayama against Tommy Cairo. This is the 4th match. This is the match against Tommy Cairo. It's on the intimidating side. I've never worked in front of a place this big in front of as many people. But once you're out there and the action starts, that just kind of falls by the wayside and you go in there and do what you have to do. It looks like he has a lot of physical strength, but he has no striking techniques. I've seen some of his matches. He really doesn't look like an amazing wrestler with amazing technique or anything. I'm not really worried. I really don't have too much of an impression of him. I really don't have anything to say about him. This is the 4th match. This is the 4th match. The winner is... Tommy Cairo! The winner is... Takayama Yoshihiro! Well, here we go. This is one of the semi-finals for the Junior League Division Tournament. We see Yoshihiro Takayama ready to take on Tommy Cairo. Once again, needless to say, Takayama with the size and height advantage and the reach advantage. Yes, it'll be interesting to see how Tommy Cairo fares. He said in his pre-fight interview he found it a little bit hard to adjust, but he certainly seems psyched and game. Cairo coming out of the blue corner. Takayama out of the red corner. The Meiji Jingo Baseball Stadium packed. 48,000 spectators. Yeah, 48,000 plus. Look at those low kicks and Tommy Cairo's in trouble. He's already taken his leg away from him. He had no block and he's in trouble already. Yes, and that hurts. I mean, Tommy Cairo's game. Look at that. That's the most effective low kick I've seen from Takayama. It looks like he was moving away and while he was moving away, those long limbs caught him and took him off his balance. Well, Takayama said in his pre-fight interview he didn't think too much of Tommy Cairo. It looked like he got a good belly to back, but he fell on his shoulder and Takayama's all right. Well, Takayama responds again and shows that he has developed his kicking. I'm always criticizing it, but he takes the count, Cairo. Well, it depends on the opponent, but I've never seen Yoshihiro Takayama so effective and powerful with those kicks of his. 14-9 and Cairo is hurting. Yeah, he's definitely in trouble and he's not moving away. He's just catching all those. The referee might want to stop it. Yes, he'll need to stop this because, I mean, Takayama, I've never seen him look this destructive. I mean, this is unmerciful. Cairo in trouble once again. He better be protecting it. He has to move inside. He can't just stay there and be a stationary target or else he's going to get killed out there. Now, referee Wada, in my view, needs to step in here. That's it. Life submission. Split. Tommy Cairo giving up. It was all those devastating kicks that finished him and, boy, I've never seen Takayama so effective in the ring. I mean, look at this. The knee. Every kick found its mark. Normally I'm criticizing Takayama's focus, but look, he finished it up with a beautiful pin and there was a scream of submission. Yeah, and you notice he set up that submission with the knee. He kneed him and then curled to the side and hooked his leg and took him off balance. And here's your winner, a very impressive win for Yoshihiro Takayama as he progresses to the finals of the Junior League Division Tournament. Well, well. As we see the highlights of this very explosive bout, Takayama just seemed very intent on going to work early and went to work on Tommy Cairo's thigh and literally swept and kicked him in one move. And look at this belly to back. It looked like an effective belly to back, but it didn't exactly catch him on the back of the neck and it probably shook him up pretty bad. He looked shooked up, but he got back and look at these kicks that he came back with. And look at the photographers. They said something was happening, but this is good stuff. Yeah, he set that submission hold up with the knee. I'm surprised he came back from that suplex, but he didn't want to take a chance. He just rushed in there and took it quickly. Well, Takayama said he didn't think too much of him, but his arms are held aloft. Tommy Cairo still in pain, still in trouble. It'd be interesting to see if he can continue in the Junior Leagues. What do you think, Ted? Well, I don't know. He took quite a beating to the leg. I don't know how his leg is going to be. We'll have to see if he'll be in any shape to continue the finals now. Well, Takayama bounces out of the ring confident, arms aloft. The crowd loved it. Now we see a dejected character in Tommy Cairo. Look, he falls. No strength in those legs at all. He's in pain. And then we see the doctors get next to him. I don't think it's too serious, but he's taken a lot of kicks. He has what we call a dead leg. No, dead legs. Dead legs, both legs. Well, as he's helped to the corner, we hope to see him back soon. Great stuff.
