Due to the tremendous response from all across the United States to my first four videos, today we're bringing you four of the latest and most popular dances in the country today. Some of you might remember Pat, Dorothy, and Mary from our last videos. We've added Judy and John. We're going to make this as easy as we possibly can for you. Just relax and enjoy, and have fun! This first dance is called Romeo. This dance is being taught several different ways. The way we're going to teach you today is probably the most popular version from coast to coast. We'll be dancing with our backs to the camera to make it just a little bit easier for you at home. Just remember, hit the rewind button, but most of all, have fun. First step, your right heel is going to go out front. Then you're going to do a jump change, and your left heel will go out front. One more jump change, and your right heel will go back out front. Now you're going to do a clap, and your clap is a step. Now you're going to do your hips, and your hips will go to the front once, to the back once, and you'll repeat. Forward and back, and now you're going to go forward twice, one, two. The next steps are called your triple steps, and you'll be starting with your left foot, going to the left side, left, right, left. Now you'll rock back on your right foot, and then rock forward on your left, and repeat this time to your right side, right, left, right, back on your left, forward on your right. From here, you're going to go forward on your left foot, bend your body just a little teeny bit, touch your right toe next to your left. You'll come back on your right foot, slide your left foot to it, step back on your right, and you're going to hitch your left leg in the air. Then from here, you'll step forward with your left again, and touch your right toe right next to it. Go back on your right, and hitch your left leg in the air again. Now let's repeat from the beginning, starting with your right heel, right heel front, left heel front, right heel front, and clap. Hips forward, back, forward, back, and forward, two. To the left, left, right, left, back on your right foot, forward on your left. To the right, right, left, right, back on your left, forward on your right. Step forward left, touch right, step back on your right, slide left, back on your right, hitch left, step forward left, touch, back, and hitch. From this point, we'll relax just a little bit, from this point, you're going to do a step turn, and you'll do this on your left foot. So you'll step forward on your left foot, scuff your right heel on the floor, do a quarter turn to the left. Now you're going to do a right grapevine. Step to the right, cross your left leg behind, step to the right, and kick with your left leg, and clap. Now you'll step down on your left foot, and you'll hitch with your right, and clap. Now from this point, we're going to do a forward triple step, right, left, right. Step forward with your left foot, half pivot to the right. Now you're going to bring your left foot forward for a triple step, left, right, left, stomp with your right foot, and clap. And the dance ends right there. Now let's go through it one more time without stopping halfway through. Same with your right heel, right, left, right, and clap. Hips forward, back, forward, back, and forward, too. To the left, left, right, left, back on your right, forward, left. To the right, right, left, right, back on your left, forward, right. Step forward, left, touch right, back, slide, back, hitch left. Our next dance is called cowboy hip hop, and again we'll have our backs to the camera to help you at home. On this first part it's called the running man. You can use your arms when you get really comfortable with the steps. For now we'll just do the steps to show you. You'll shift your weight to your right foot, then you're going to just slide your right foot back. Immediately step down on your left foot to slide your left foot back and repeat. Step down on your right, slide back, left foot down, slide back. Let's do that one more time. Your feet are together, shift your weight to your right foot, slide back with your right. Step down on your left and slide, right foot down, slide, left foot down, slide. Now you're going to step to the right with your right foot and you're going to do your right hip at the same time. Your right hip will go to the right side and then back over to the left side. We're going to do it double time, which is just a little variation. You'll do it right left, right left, right left, right left and there will be four of those. Let's try that again from the top. Starting with your weight on your right foot. Right foot slide, left foot slide, right foot slide, left foot slide. Step to the right. Hips one two, one two, one two, one two. The next section is called electric kicks. The first one will be a single. Step back on your right foot, step forward on your left, forward on your right and back just a little bit on your left foot. You'll repeat that two more times. They will be in double time but we'll take it again very slowly. Back on your right, forward on your left, forward on your right, back on your left one more time, back right, forward left, forward right, back left. Now we'll demonstrate it again as it will be in double time starting with the single electric kick. It will be back right, forward left, forward right, back left, double time, one and two and three and four. From here you're going to do a grape vine to the left. Step to the left, cross behind with your right, step to the left and stomp with your right and clap. Now you're going to do a giant step to the right and it will be a two count. Step to the right, slide your left foot up to it, put your weight on your left, right. It will be like a marching step. From here you'll do your first set of hops and you can use your arms to assist you get around the floor a little bit better. First hop, your feet will be apart. Second hop, your feet will be together. Third pop, feet will be apart. Fourth hop, you'll turn to your right and you'll hop and your feet will be together. We'll do one more set of hops, only you won't turn this time. Open, closed, open. And to finish it you'll do what we call chugs and we're going to use our hip movements again in this chug. Your weight will be on your left foot and it will be just a gentle turn, half turn to your left going right left, right left, right left, right left. The dance ends right there, you shift your weight right away to start the dance over again. Let's do it again from the beginning starting with your weight on your right foot. Ready and slide right, slide left, slide right, slide left. Hips one two, one two, one two, one two. Back right, forward left, forward right, back left. One and two and three and four. Grapevine left, behind left, right and left, right. Hop one and two, turn three and four. Hips two, three, four. And the dance is over at this point. To demonstrate the cowboy hip hop to music, we're going to face different directions. This is a one directional dance. Five, six, seven, eight and right, left, right and left. Hips one and two and three and four. And right, left, right, left and one and two and three and four. And left, behind, left and right and left, right and one and two and three and four. And one, two, three, four and right, left, right, left. Hips one, two, three and four. And right, left, right, left and one and two and three and four. One and two and three and four. And left. Our next dance is called Alley Cat. This is one of the most requested dances we have here at the ranch. Starting with your feet together, you make sure your heels come off the floor for this one. On the ball of your feet, you're going to swivel your heels to the left, then back to the center. One more time to the left and back to the center. Now put your weight in your left foot and your right heel is going to go forward once. Feet together, don't put any weight on it. Forward one more time. Feet together. Now we're going to do one more heel swivel to the left, heels to the left, center, heels to the left, center. Now your left heel will go out forward. Out, feet together, no weight on it, left heel forward, feet together. Now we're going to do a forward slide. Starting with your left foot, step out with your left, slide your right foot up to it. Step out with your left, slide your right foot up to it. One more time, left, slide up to it. One more time, left and slide. From here you're going to go back on a diagonal again. Go back on your right foot, touch your left toe gently next to it and clap. Now you go back with a left diagonal and touch your right toe next to it and clap. Back with your right again and touch and back on your left and touch. Okay let's go through that part from the very beginning. Ready with your heels, heels to the left, center, heels left, center, right heel front, feet together, right heel front, feet together, heels to the left, center, left, center, left heel front, feet together, left heel front, feet together, forward left and slide, left and slide, left and slide, left and slide, back right, touch left, back left, touch right, back right, touch left, back left, touch right. From this part you're going to do what we call shimmies and it's an upper body movement. You will step to the right when you do this with a big step. You're going to shimmy your shoulders twice. A one, two, bring your left foot next to your right and clap. You'll repeat that. Step to the right, shimmy one, two, left foot together and clap. Now we're going to shimmy to the left. Step to the left, shimmy one, two, feet together and clap. Again, left, shimmy, together, clap. From here you're going to do what we call kickball changes. With your right foot you'll kick forward and then you'll do a fast right left, right left. You'll repeat that. Kick, right left. Now we'll do this again from the beginning. With your feet together, heels to the left, center, left, center, right heel front, feet together, right heel front, feet together, heels left, center, left, forward, left, center, left heel front, feet together, left heel front, feet together, forward, left, slide, forward, left, slide, forward, left, slide, forward, left, slide, back, right, touch left, left, touch right, right, touch left, left, touch right, step, together, clap, right, together, clap, shimmy left, together, clap, shimmy left, together, clap, kick it right left, kick right left. Okay, from this point, you're going to step forward with your right, slide your left foot up to it, left foot to the left side, feet together. From here, you're going to do a grapevine to the left, step to the left, cross your right leg behind, step to the left with a quarter turn to the left, and you can stomp with your right foot at this point. Then you're going to walk back, starting with your right foot, walk back right, left, right, stomp with your left foot. And the dance starts again from this position. Our next dance is called the Ladoo Shuffle. Those of you that know the tushbush will probably recognize most of these steps. Your first step, your right heel is going to go forward. Now you're going to cross over your left foot, but your toe is actually going to touch the floor. Then your right heel is going to go forward again, and feet together. Now shift your weight to your right foot, and your left heel will go forward. Cross your toe on the floor, left heel forward again, feet together. Same thing with the right again, right heel forward, with your toe cross, heel forward. Now bring that right foot all the way back, and touch behind you. Now we're going to do some triple steps, or cha-cha steps forward, starting with your right foot, right, left, right. Rock forward on your left foot, rock back on your right. You'll triple step backwards, left, right, left, rock back on your right foot, forward on your left, and you're going to triple step one more time, starting with your right foot, right, left, right. Okay, let's start again from the beginning, and go up to that point. Starting with your weight on your left foot, right heel forward, toe cross, heel forward, feet together, left heel forward, toe cross, forward, feet together, right heel forward, toe cross, forward, touch all the way back. Your triple steps, right, left, right, rock forward on your left, back on your right, left, right, left, back on your right, forward on your left, and right, left, right. Okay, from this point, you're going to step forward with your left foot. Now, you're going to pivot your body to the right. You don't lift your feet off the floor. You're going to triple step forward, starting with your left foot, left, right, left, step forward with your right foot. Now, a quarter pivot to your left. Step forward one more time with your right foot, and you'll do a half pivot to your left. Now, this will start the next section. Let's start again from the beginning, and take you through this one section. To end this section, you're going to stomp with your right foot and clap. The next section is going to start with right heel or right toe, whichever you're most comfortable with. We here do it with your heel. Right heel goes out front four times, one, two, three, four. You'll do a jump change and your left heel will go forward four times, one, two, three, four. Now you're going to do three jump changes, starting with your right foot, right, left, right, and a clap. Now you're going to do your hips. Just like in the tush push, your hips will go forward twice, forward, two, come back twice, back, two, and forward, back, forward, back. From this point, you're going to start your triple step, starting with your right foot, right, left, right, forward on your left, back on your right, left, right, left, back on your right, forward left, right, left, right, step forward, left, half pivot, left, right, left, step forward, right, quarter pivot, right, half pivot, stomp, no clap. Okay, let's do it from the beginning. To finish the dance off we're going to do a jazz step. You're going to cross your right leg over your left, step back on your left foot, step to the right with your right foot, and then you can stomp this point with your left foot. That ends the dance right here. You start again from this direction. For our last dance we're going to dance the La Duda music. Five, six, seven, eight, right cross out together, left cross out together, right cross out touch, back and right, two, three, left, back.
