I'm Angelina Ballerina and I absolutely positively love to dance. I attend a performing arts school called Camembert Academy. I have lots of friends and we always put our best toe forward for a brilliant performance. This is Alice, she's my very best friend. I have an idea. What if we end our dance with a twirl or a leap or a cartwheel? We never get tired of dancing together. Alice is also a great gymnast. Vicky is an absolutely positively great friend too and she's so amazing. I love being different. It means I can have my very own look. Vicky can Irish step dance like a star, likes to hip hop and is really truly great at jazz dance. Ooh la la, that's Gracie. French things are fantastique, like me. She's très magnifique in many dance styles like modern and tap and disco. She might even give you a case of disco fever. A.Z., the coolest mouse in Chipping Cheddar, is a hip hop genius. He taught us breaking, locking and popping. A.Z. Mouse is in the house. My friend Marco comes from Costa Mousa. He's a brilliant musician and can play almost any instrument. It's always showtime when we're together. Join us on our dance-filled adventures. We always reach for the stars. She's gonna go far. That's the Angelina way. Follow your dreams wherever they take you. You can succeed so let anything shake you. Angelina, ballerina. A little song with Vicky. Angelina, ballerina. La la la la, la la la la, la la la la. I'm so excited. Today is going to be the most musical day ever at Camembert School. We're all going to make costumes and act out the story of Peter and the Wolf. Ooh, he looks like a very big wolf. The story is about a young mouse-ling named Peter who meets a big bad wolf and I get to play the wolf. Oink, oink, oink. And when we act it out, every character will have the sound of a different musical instrument. Peter's sound is the violin. Peter's grandfather is the bassoon. And you always know the wolf is coming when you hear French horns. Oink, oink. What part are you, Angelina? I'm a bird, Mum, and my musical sound is the flute. What kind of fruit? I love bananas but they don't make any music. Pshh, pshh. Not fruit, Polly. A flute. See? It's a musical instrument. It sounds like my recorder. Angelina's a birdie. I hear her tweeting. Tweet, tweet. Well, you girls certainly do know a lot about Peter and the Wolf. I think you're going to be a great birdie, Angelina. And I think it's time to fly or you'll be late for school. Listen, Angelina, everything in Chipping Cheddar has a musical kind of sound today. Clatter clink, clatter clink. That's the Mouseberry yogurt cart. That's the sign in the cafe. That's the bell on the town hall. Those sounds are so amazing. Clatter clink, clatter clink. Cree, cre, creak. Ding, da ding, dong, ding. Goodbye, Mum. Bye, Polly. Have a most musical day, dear. And don't play the fruit instead of the flute. Quack, quack, quack. Hi, Angelina. Hi, Vicky. Quack, quack, quack. Um, what's up with Gracie? Some actors want to stay in character on performance day. And she's playing the duck in our Peter and the Wolf show today. I'm going to be the best duck ever. Quack, quack, quack, quack. Quack, quack, quack. Is Gracie okay? She's quackers. Quack, quack, quack. Here comes Miss Mimi. Good morning, Miss Mimi. What? What is she trying to say? What's it say, Angelina? It says she lost her voice. Miss Mimi lost her voice? Oh, no. Miss Mimi, you should go to Dr. Tuttle. She says she did go to the doctor. He said she has laryngitis. My uncle had that once. He couldn't talk for a while, but it's not contagious. Are you okay, Miss Mimi? But how will you direct the show if you can't speak? Shh! Listen, everyone. Angelina, Miss Mimi's playing your bird theme from Peter and the Wolf. Maybe she's trying to tell you something. What? Listen, Angelina. Oh, you're calling me with music, right, Miss Mimi? Hey, I know that music. Now she's calling me. It looks like this will go on all morning. Miss Mimi is calling everyone without ever speaking a word. Quack, quack, quack. She's using the music that goes with our characters in Peter and the Wolf. At first, I thought Miss Mimi losing her voice was going to make it an awful day. But it turns out her laryngitis is music to our ears. Everyone, I have a great idea. Today is... Speak Only with Music Day. Hey, who wants a piece of my cheese pie? Wait! I think she's trying to say something about your cheese pie, Gracie. Two? She says she wants two pieces. We can so understand her. She didn't even speak a single word. See if she can answer another question. This is fun. Yeah! Vicki, who's your favorite music group? She's saying she likes House Mouse and the Maze Beaters. They're my favorite, too. Your favorite cheese? Oh no! It's got a crack in it. Now that's a musical sound I understand. Lunchtime is over. Come on, we're supposed to meet in the theater so we can rehearse on the big stage. This is so exciting! Excellent. Have you finished your costume? I can't wait to get on the stage. Maybe there's another instrument I can use in the music room. The door is stuck! Hello? Is anyone out there? Can anyone hear me? I know what to do. Wow! Stupendous spotlight! Hey! That's my cue! Here's Peter! Make room for the wolf! That's you, Vicki. Vicki? Miss Meanie, Vicki didn't come back from lunch with us. Hey, doesn't that sound like a French horn? But where's it coming from? It sounds like it's coming from the music room. Come on! Oh no! Vicki's trapped inside! Vicki, are you okay? Yes, but I can't open the door, Angelina. I got locked in, but it was okay because I could call you with my French horn. We heard the French horn, and we followed the sound right to you. I guess you were right, Vicki. About what? You and Miss Meanie both showed us different ways we can use music to show others what they mean, even though it's not exactly talking with words. Luckily, Miss Meanie got her voice back in time for the production. And so, the brave little mouseling, Peter, captured that big wolf and sent him far, far away for safekeeping. From that day on, Peter and the little bird and the duck, as well as Peter's grandpapa, knew they would never be bothered by the big bad wolf again. And from now on, Vicki and I know friends don't always need to use words to show what they mean. Sometimes, they can use music, too. Thank you.
