The bombing of Baghdad has resumed.
Reporters there heard at least five huge explosions, with two coming from somewhere around one
of Saddam Hussein's presidential complexes.
American bombing also continued today in northern Iraq, where the U.S. was attacking Iraqi positions
near Mosul.
In Philadelphia today, President Bush warned that Iraq may be planning attacks in the U.S.
did not specify, said he will continue to pursue the war in Iraq and protect the homeland.
In Iraq, the American invasion forces are moving slightly closer to Baghdad.
U.S. troops have had their first significant confrontations on the ground with Iraq's
Republican Guard.
