coming to a theater near you. Three to Andrew, six to Darren and what an act. So Andrew Jarman, a Gary medallist, two Foss Williams medals against his name. Kicks from the forward pocket, kicks and goals. So Andrew gets his fourth. They've got a personal battle out there to see who can kick more at 16, four to nine eight. On a personal level he's now better his best effort last year which was three kick three on two occasions last year and today has just had so many opportunities the ball being shared between himself and his brother but really the the dominance of Adelaide through the midfield not specifically center bounces I think Fitzrady could leave it through the midfield has been pronominal. A couple of minutes into the final turn crows by 38 points. Andrew Jarman just putting through his fourth. McDermott to Costa at a reasonably quiet third term compared to his first half at least. Melington now a chance for Detroit to wharf. Putting each other under pressure Cook now Pike. Bit of space now over to Johnson. Detroit half back looking to set it up over to Pike again putting him under pressure. Palms off McGuinness does well. Now up past center wing for Simon Hawking takes a good chest mark on the run. Hawking wants to get it on quickly he does. Looking for Morton in front. A couple of good goals in that third quarter. Smart clever play around the corner back up towards center wing and a good strong mark taken by Kavan. Kavan goes to play on. Umpire calls it. McGuinness keeps his feet. Rand back to McGuinness. A lot of foxing. Back to Bond. Possession game again. McGuinness gets a good bounce. Well wrapped up by Chandler. A hit hard by Robb and good play. Spins out up to McLeod. Kavan unable to take it. Pike pops up for Atkins. Can't get a hand to it. Robb and now parming to McDermott. Atkins now. Someone needs to get the ball and kick it long. Boyd. Handball. Hawking. He's the one. Up towards 50. They can't be unable to take the mark. Rachute now to clean up for the Crows. Up to Costa. Costa in board. Back to Allen on the burst. Couple of bounces through. Half forward. Drives along looking for Andrew Jarman. Andrew Jarman takes it and kicks his foot gone for the Crows. On the first edition of Witness with Yana Vint. It's a battle lost but it's not a war lost. Rupert Murdoch. He didn't corrupt anybody. In his first interview since Super League. This thing is not over. Yana Vint's exclusive from New York. Plus dead miners families. Stay to my kids father. At war. Diserecting them all. With BHP. The big Australian widow. They won't let it die. That's more proof that they knew. Holden proudly presents Witness with Yana Vint. 9.30 Tuesday on 7. 44 points the difference. The Jarman show continues. The Roys need something. Barker. Can he give it to them? Cook. To Chandler. I liked his game. He started on the bench but he has given them something. He's been very busy. Jamison punches again. Fobus back on the ground. Hogg. Chalmers. A free kick. The umpire says no. Play on. So Chalmers gives him the big hook. The size 13. Gets it out to almost the wing position. Bamford. Tackle. Holding his decision. Going the Roys way. Costa will stand the mark. Great deal with Darren Pritchard last week. Thought honors were just about even. Certainly he's given them something. He hand passed it away. So a correct decision by the umpire. Wasn't too good. Chips in front of Cook to take the mark. Morton stands the mark. Mark Rasciutto. Kick number 10. Lobs it up towards the center wing position. Pitman. Crows as Neil Curley predicted. Going on with the job in the final quarter. Robryn. Good attempt to mark. Paddled forward by McLeod. Now it comes back to Robryn. Robryn's centering kick with the right. Up towards the Jarman show. That might be 50. No. Paxman has got the mark in front of Darren. Scoreboard shows 9-8 to 17-4 in favor of the Crows. Holmes. Has he been moved away from Andrew Jarman? Back to Boyd. Onto Wolf. Wolf from midfield. Kicks out towards right half forward. Marking contest. The ball punched high. Now a chance for Rasciutto to clear. Gets it back to Jamison and he'll do just that. Jamison. Bit of a drill to Pitman. The Crows now are looking pretty good. Are on fire. Tall position game. Pitman will take the kick directly in front. About 35 meters out from the goal. And a chance to put Adelaide's 18th on the board. And their third for the quarter. I suppose if we go back even further Terry, win Fitzroy. They're going to lose this match. They lost at the first quarter when they just couldn't handle the wind and didn't do enough with it. Thoroughly agree. Pitman puts it through. Good goal to the Crows. UltraTunes in tune with you and your car. In fact, 98% of our customers were satisfied or extremely satisfied with UltraTunes service and repairs in responses to a recent survey of RAA approved mechanical repairer customers. And the other 2%? Well, we're working on it. UltraTune. In tune with you and your car. 15 locations all endorsed by the RAA. 14 minutes left in the last quarter. It's the Crows by 50 points. All becoming a bit too easy. Great third quarter between the two teams. 14 goals kicked but now it's all the Crows. Kick 4 to Fitzroy's nothing. Now it's Costa from centre wing. Chips into Robyn. Downfield free kick. Robyn will take the kick from about 50 metres. Slight angle. And shouldn't have any trouble making the distance. It's all about the accuracy. He had a great second quarter, didn't he, when he kicked a couple. Yes. And got the Crows moving when they needed to be moved. So Robyn. Right on 50. Former Hawke. Just maybe. One on the goal on par for this one. One behind. Robyn just drifted away at the last minute. So 2 goals, 1 against his name. 9-8 to 18-5. Barker takes the mark. Hard stands the mark. Kickers to centre wing. Pittman should fly from behind and couldn't drag it over the top of Wren though. Too tall. He'll give it to Rosciutto. His kicking is usually pinpoint. And the German show will continue. Darren. Runner up in the brown low last year. Goes at goal and gets his seventh. 7 goals, 1 he's kicked. The one he missed he should have got. 19-5 to 9-8 and the difference is as good as 10 goals. It's quite incredible when you consider that his best effort last year for Hawthorne was just 2. Went right back in round 4 and here he is all of a sudden turned into a goal kicker. Only in result. I mean not in talents. He's certainly always had the talents to be anything that he wanted to be. But today he's been able to deliver the goods in front of the big sticks. The story is though, Terry, that he's been working with a personal trainer. His brother Andrew has got him up at 6 o'clock in the morning and he's doing the hard yards. So it's paying off. He's kicked 7 and the Crows have 19 on the board. Atkins and Liptak. Liptak the speed and the body work and the control. Beautiful play by Liptak. Off to Jamison. A lot of class there with the Crows. Now Johnson a chance. Slips over and deemed too high. Slipped into that tackle. Chris Johnson to Troy Halfback. Goes in towards the centre of the ground. Puts everyone under a lot of pressure and McLeod is the marker. Bickley dancing around a couple. Looking for McDermott. Finds him. Marked free kicker would have. Tough footballer McDermott. Been around a long time. Very hard player. Captain. Good to see him still having a kick. McDermott looking for some forward set up. Looking for Andrew Jarman. He leads. Using the body. Not enough jump in those legs, Jars. Pike chips in and takes the grab. Martin Pike changes direction. It's Cookick. Takes the mark on the 50. To Chandler. Played well since he came on. Got Pollacks when he came off the bench. Hogue on his left foot. Under a bit of pressure. Kicks into open space. It's Jamison and Smart. Smart using his body to shepherd. Does well. Now Atkins a chance. Hawking. Kicks in. Looking for Malloy. And a great back to Malloy. Looks into an open goal. And kicks for Troy Spurts for the quarter. And they're 10th of the game. Four wheel drive or two wheel drive. Petrol or diesel. Outback or in business. You can trust a Triton double cab ute. Two solid quarters from Fitzroy last week. Maybe even two and a half. And you could probably say the same today. They've got to put four together though. Against quality sides. And Adelaide fits into that category. 19-5 to 10-8 now at the Witton Noble. Johnson. Their leading goal kicker last year was 25. He's got it on to Chandler. Lamb has kicked two. Started on the bench. Bamford. High to the goal square. Was that touched? Maybe not. Rushed through. By Brett Chalmers. A rush behind for Fitzroy. As we approach the halfway mark of the final quarter. 11 and a half minutes to go. It's 10-9 to 19-5. Won't alter the result much. But Fitzroy would like to get some respectability into their score. Lamb again. Rose to Packwell. Pittman gives chase. Can't catch him. One on one marking duel down there. The pros though with the numbers. Holding the ball. Holding the man or play on. Play on says the umpire. Chalmers will go for the boundary line. If he can he couldn't. Atkins and Liptak. Runs into Resciuto. Hog. Snapshot. Malloy. Punches down. And the kick. Rubled over the line. Keep coming there from I think it was Cavan it was. So a chance for Fitzroy in their left forward pocket. He's almost from the west now. Certainly died down a bit. He was carried from the ground earlier in the game. Cavan again. Hand pass Ricochet. Allen to Bond. Steady. Back to Cavan. Good use of the ball by the Crows. They're not wasting it. The kick is up towards centre wing. Robran. Missed it. His opposite number five is Barker. Lamb calls for it and gets it. And he takes the mark in front of McDermott. Former Best in Fairest winner. Then brought back on the mark by the umpire. Wayne Lamb. Mena's too tall. Cook. Morton. Hog. And the mark is taken by Hawking. Hawking needs to get it moving quickly. He does badly deliver for Atkins. Hurry hand pass by him. Through the legs of Lamb. Now the skipper Boyd. Steady. Goes and goal. And the skipper's kicked it. Boyd kicks his first goal of the season. And Fitzroy comes to 11-9 trailing at late 19. Well the young skipper really has a lot of work, a huge workload actually in front of him throughout the season. But ever so keen to get back into the fray and really wanted to play last week but they decided to hold him back and probably rightfully so. The runner-up Best in Fairest the year before last and in Best in Fairest last year. Very important player to this young and developing Fitzroy side. Crows by 44 points. 19-5 to 11-9. Johnson off the half back line. Decides to go for a bit of a bounce and a run. Better speed Chris Johnson. He can go all the way. Starts to be a magnificent goal. He's running up towards the 50. They're urging him on. He shoots. Over the top and one behind for Johnson. What a great run. Sensational stuff. Very, very good there. Five bounces and the crowd all acknowledging it. Fantastic stuff. Chalmers kicks in long. Drives it up towards the centre of the ground. Johnson's there. I think he's looking for a breather. Now Bickley over the top to McLeod. McLeod can set it up for one of the Jarman's. It's Andrew in the pocket and it's too easy Jarman on the chest. Very casual stuff. Ben Hart's on his own. But I think Jarman will want to have a shot here. He wants his sixth. He'll probably want his seventh to beat Darren. Or do we call him at least. Five. Two in this last quarter. Kick one here from here just prior. Looks pretty good. It's a goal. Dawn Fraser legend for big Olympic wins. And I'm going for me fifth. Atlanta. I just scratched this McDonald's game ticket and I could win one of five trips to the Olympics in Atlanta. To swim. Or a Sony PlayStation with software. An IBM family PC package or even... Dawn Fraser. Legend. Another big win. One of eight Honda Odyssey's. Instantly. Dawn. Dawn. You're playing with your food. Oops. It's easy to win in McDonald's Olympic match and win. 13 goals between the two Jarman's. Darren has seven and Andrew now has six. It's 76 to 125 at the Witton Oval. Petroy out of the center. And the crew cut brigade through Chandler this time. Over the head of Cavey. He'll get back there first to mop up or he should. He does. Shepherded by heart. Back to Costa. The second half hasn't been as brilliant as his first. Bickley gives it back to him. Costa as they share it around. McDermott. Still they come. This is Ellen. Another former Bulldog. Ellen's kick down towards the right half forward flank. Bounce is going to be important. Paxman will need to get back quickly. The other crew cut brigade from McLeod. Paxman again. Darren encroaches. Rides him into the ground. Maybe a free kick. Throw in. 40 meters from goal or 40 meters around from the behind post at least. Scoreboard reading 1110 to 20 goals five. Pitman and Wharf. Melington mops up. He'll go over the head of Andrew or in fact try to. A good intercept. Barker. Now Pike. Atkins over his head Bamford. Not much of this kid but he can play. Make no mistake about that. Wren punches over the head of Cook. Atkins written into the ground as the axe. The Empire calls play on. Rashuto tackled well by land. The tackling's fantastic. Wren. Kick down comes from Liptaq and Robren. He did so much good work in the second quarter kicking to this end goal has taken the mark. Hawthorne wasn't happy stood out. Has come back to Adelaide. I think we're still to see the best of this brother. Kick number 10 from Matthew Robren. He's kicked two goals. Robren from 48 meters out. Not a great kick off the boot. Slewed it a little bit. He's kicked it through for a minor score. So two goals two now to Matthew Robren out of the closed tally of 20 goals six for Troy 1110 seven and a half minutes left in the match. Be done decisive. Paxman. Not too sure where to go. Doing a bit of directing. Now decides to go right down the middle of the ground and looks for Melington. Good kick. Melington takes the mark off to Boyd. Puts him under pressure. That's been the story of Roy's all day. Putting each other under pressure. Now we've got Barker on the wing. What can he do with it? Gives it to Simon Hawking on the run. From 50. Should have a shot. Kicks it long. Looks pretty good. Good for charmers at least. Now it's kicked over by Lombardis. And it's a great goal to him. A couple last week he was treacherous from the ground you may recall earlier in this game. It's a good comeback in more ways than one isn't it? Polaxed in the first quarter. He's been very good. He's a young man who's got a great degree of skill. I'll give a bit of a plug here. He was an AFL trainee last year. At the beginning of the year really you wouldn't have given a proverbial to Bob for John Lombardis. But by the end of the season he picked up a couple of senior games and it's just started to display a great degree of maturity. And in the two games today, only a short time here today, he's been very, very good in the game. Back to 44 points the difference. Under seven minutes left in the match. Bounced at midfield. Favours McLeod. Melington and Robrum. Melington the first to recover. Johnson does a shepherd. Paxman. Mops up well. The really intercept down there. Crows running in numbers. Bond picks it up eventually. A high kick. Could have done better with that. Andrew Jarman. No. Yes. And Pike rushes it through. We're only one behind for the Crows. Are they asking for a deliberate behind there Jarman? Boys? Keep it in the field. Let's all play. Paxman brings it into Pike. Bickley stands the mark. Boyd. He's done fairly well with 14 and nine. His first game for the year. Played last week. Certainly makes a difference to Fitzroy. Disappointing I suppose from Melington's point of view because they were in this game for such a long time. It's handy to see the Crows gradually pull away in that brilliant third quarter. Hawking. Chant was done well. He's given them something midfield. He's quick. His disposal usually pretty good. This one no exception. Lam who also started on the bench. Late inclusion when Primus couldn't take his place on the side. Primus last week, if you didn't see the match, played a really good game against Hawthorn. Had a good duel with Randall Bone. Morton a chance here. He can pick it up. He can't. Snapshot. Chandler again. It's not bad. He's looking. The goal on fire says it's a goal. You've kicked it up. Well it caps off a pretty good day for him. Fitzroy 13-10 Adelaide 27. It's amazing sometimes where a young talent comes from. A young Chandler in the reserves last week played. Was named best player for them and got his chance here this afternoon off the bench. 27 disposals he's had during the afternoon and a couple of tackles here but more importantly he's had a real turn of pace and been quite prepared to break the game up. 20 goals 7-13-10. Cook gets the tap out. McLeod in the front of Chandler. The last goal kicker for Fitzroy. The crew cut for him as you call them Pete. Ball up on centre wing. Fourth quarter centre breaks. Fitzroy 6-3. Obviously doesn't reflect in the scores Wills. No but that's been one of the good parts of Fitzroy's play today. I think they've been excellent in there. So unable to convert. Over the top of Atkins. Now Melington in front of Robyn. Using his body. Robyn using the strength. Now Liptaq. Can Chris McDermott have a goal here? Picks the ball up. Oh! Slowly hit by Paxman. A great hit. Atkins taken high. And given the free kick against Andrew Jarman. I'll tell you what you couldn't hurt McDermott with a hammer in each hand could you? Roy's play on Brad Boyd in the centre of the ground. Boyd plays on quickly looking for Atkins again putting him under pressure. Oh! Good hit by Mann. Lovely. Now Barker on the burst. To Bamford from 55. King of Gold Bamford. Shoots. Kicks it wide. And out of bounds on the full. There was steam coming from that run. Simon Atkins is still sore after being hit and shoulder by Sean Wren as you would expect. Johnson the fly from behind is the first to recover. Lamb. Makes ground well. Chandler again. Atkins on his feet. Gives it away to Holmes. Holmes with a long bomb straight down the ground and he kicks it straight and through for a goal. No he doesn't. He kicks it behind. We shall crowd this afternoon. 8685. Of course Holmes I think at one stage during the day. He was on the Darren jump. Let's look at that again. Just the wrong side. Holmes last week. 25 hand passes. I think it was just about a club record. Tragenza in the meantime comes back on. Goes on to Atkins. Renan Cook. Cook punches from behind. Hog to Lamb. Quick to get rid of it. Oh! Jamison. Great mark. Taking it in front of Ron Botes at centre half back or centre half forward whichever you'd prefer. On to Rashooter. Thought about going. Goes back. Measures it to McCloud. McCloud goes longer. Nice little bit of a nudge by Smart. Heart running with him. Nigel Smart. 55 metres out from goal and the mark is taken in the last night of defence by Walf. Walf plays on. Smothered well by Pittman now. Chance for Darren Jarman to kick his 8th. Spins on his left foot and beautifully puts it through. Darren Jarman. I think he's won the contest. What a great goal. He's clearly best on Terry. What do you think? Or am I putting a bit of pressure on you? No pressure whatsoever. When he started in the middle of the ground I thought even in that particular part of the game he was very good. He contributed in there. But then when given the opportunity late in the second quarter to go full forward as a result of Adelaide not making the most of Ren being there. He's certainly capped off a great game. He's just kicked his 8th. Adelaide's 21st. 133 players 89. And by Hayden Kennedy pulls a free kick out to Sean Wren. Wren plays on quickly to Costa who had a fantastic first half. Costa. Still pretty good. 16 and 10. Yeah it's going to be 17th kick. 17 and 9 marks as well. Pete. Now Nigel Smart and Johnson. Smart the quicker. Can he balance it on his hands? Unable to do so. Melington gets it clear. Fitzroy defense holding out. Barker spins around. Gets a quick kick. Not much to find. Finds Danny Morton this time. Off to Holmes. Now Cook in the center of the ground. Tucks it under his arm and looks to have a bounce. Takes on Allen. Gives it to Hawking. Hawking has a bounce from 55. Has a long ping. The wind takes it and Gerald Malloy takes the mark in the gold square for the Roy's. I'm not sure whether that was the most natural thing for Big Cook to be running in the bouncing. Looked a little manufactured but the effect was gabbo. The effect was most appropriate at the end. Malloy directly in front. Puts Troy's third and Fitzroy's 14th. Fitzroy's leading goal kicker but he hasn't had too many opportunities. Only what four and three. Of course McCarthy taken from the ground so Fitzroy not able to get too much from their key forwards. That was what you pointed out at the start Terry. If they were to win they had to get more out of them than they have done. We looked at last year's stats. 15 goals twice was their best return for a forward line. They're up to 14 now. We'd have to say that Gerald Malloy hasn't contributed until the later part of the game so there's still room for improvement. They're primus back into the side perhaps in the ruck giving them a little bit more out of the center even though Cook has done well. So there are some good positive signs here for Fitzroy. And of course Johnson their leading goal kicker last year. Kick 25. He's playing in defense. So the last couple of minutes of the match now it's going to be a convincing win to Adelaide. Chandler again onto Hawking. Hawking's a long left footer. That one no exception. Malloy again. Yes he's got it. Good use of the body once more. Throughout body has a play to pick Chalmers. Where's he been? Only if yes. It would be. I mean that was good, strong, technically sound. Using the body to the right bench. Never allowing Chalmers to take the front. That's not at all. He's in front. So encouraging signs for Fitzroy. He's kicked his fourth from very limited opportunities. 21-7 to 15-11 so expected 32 points. And that's not a thrashing by any stretch of the imagination. There's something for both coaches probably to build on here today. The Jarman act certainly has been the star of the afternoon. But we've seen a pretty good player in the making. Come off the bench in Brett Chandler. And we're going to hear more about him. So back to the center for the last minute of the contest. Just over five goals the difference. The old war horse himself. McDermott down to Jarman. Pikes got him. Umpire says it's a free kick to Fitzroy. And Johnson steams out of the fence with the footy. Tragenza comes at him. Bamford takes him on. Back to McDermott from Tragenza. Over the head of A Jarman. Holmes. Bickley goes down. Holmes keeps going. On to Barker. Barker looking for options across the half back line. McLeod comes at him. Kicks to Morton. Couldn't take the mark. Good pressure from Robrins. Still he goes. Smart to Wren. Wren's kicked down towards full forward. And Paxman gets into the hole to take the mark. Gets it over to Pike. Pike runs out. So too there's time for Fitzroy. It's Bamford. And here's another player that the Roys are going to see a lot of in matches to come. Cook. Limited experience. It's been hard. So too for Fitzroy. They kept going. And that's certainly a plus for them. Two wins in a row to the Crows. Convincing margin in the end. 32 points. Not as big as last week when they are now over the 20s by 90. But it has been the Jarman show here this afternoon. Eight goals for Darren. Six goals to Andrew. And they really carved up the Fitzroy defence in no uncertain manner. We saw a brilliant third quarter of football in the end. It was Atlet running out winners. 21 goals 7. 21 goals 7. 133 for Fitzroy. 15-11. 101. But a very entertaining game of football this afternoon. And well the Jarman show. Adelaide fans watching this can be well satisfied with the after-earns work from their players. Yes certainly the Jarmans with eight and six goals between them is a real high. But I thought some of the ruck work done by Wren and Pitman was great. The defence continues to be sound. And Koster joining the side after a couple of years with foot spray. A good addition. Let's go down to Curls. Yes have Kimmy Koster. Kimmy on familiar territory here. Yeah it was excellent you know. Come back here and have a win on the first game away over here as well. So the fourth point was excellent. It was obvious Fitzroy's tactic earlier was to bottle you up and try and keep it as congested as ever. Oh yeah they were sort of chipping it around everywhere and we just put a bit of pressure on them and they didn't like that. So it was really good you know. Everyone complains about this oval being shocking and everything. It was great. Bit of a change at half time with your forward set up. They put the smarter moving players up here and it certainly paid dividends. Oh yeah the quicker blokes. The quicker blokes you know it was great. The moves. The coaching staff was excellent and the boys played really well so it's excellent. Two games at home now with Geelong Heathen. A real chance to get up that top of that ladder. Oh yeah we're looking forward to it. You know all the blokes were pretty pumped up at the moment and confidence. So I think it's going to be good. We're looking forward to next week now. Well played Kimmy. All the best. Thanks girls. Thank you. You'll join his teammates. Robert Shaw comes out to have a few words to them as they leave the field. Victors at the Wythen Noble. Never an easy task under sometimes trying conditions but it was outlaid by 32 points here in round two. We'll take a break and we'll be back with more on highlights from the other games in just a moment. We are entertaining game of football here at the Witton Oval. The first half affected badly by the wind. Adelaide kicked clear in the second term. Fitzroy didn't make enough use of it in the first with just one goal three. And that certainly didn't help their cause. He came alive during the third quarter and of course in the latter part of the game it was the Jaman show. And they really shone out above all else. As we check the goal kickers for the game now. And Darren Jarman finished up with eight. Andrew Jarman got six. Matthew Robryn two. He played a particularly good second quarter to get the crows firing when they booted seven. And the rest singles for Fitzroy. Maloy finished up with four. A couple late in the final quarter. Danny Morton two. And Wayne Lamb also kicked two goals. Now we won't be showing you highlights of the Gevonks and Kildare game. Because viewers through SAS are going to be taking a replay in just a few moments' time. So we'll go to the other highlights now. And the game out of the MCG. Let's see some highlights of that now. And their commentators are Bruce McEvaney, Kevin Bartlett and Lee Matthews. Croft. This is a better build up. A bounce. Runs his full measure. Goes long to fall forward. Good position for Hargraves. Lovely stretch. Takes the mark. Probably the most positive bit of play from Footscray all day. But that was one occasion where Hargraves was able to be in the right position. Improves the angle. And kicks the goal. That was needed for him to make a mark up forward. Nothing happened. Kellett to Johnson. Johnson to take his man on. Two bounces at 50. Not bad. Very good in fact. That's a goal. Well played. Kerry wins the ball. Back to Mark Stevens. Kicks the ball to space. So that sir gets a bad bounce. Scholl grabs it. Can he kick goal number four? He has. Osborne at the back of the pack. Tries to kick it off the ground. Weirer. Tries to fend off an opponent taken by Freiborn. He's been good as well. He's going over the top to Blakey. He runs in and he'll kick his second. And a new record score at the moment for us. Maybe the Bulldogs should revert to their standard jumper, which is one of the best in the competition. But a decent old hiding today at the hands of North Melbourne. Kerry finished up with six goals and Craig Scholl got four. 168 to 37 at the MCG. The match out at Waverly this afternoon. Richmond and Hawthorne. The Tigers in command for most of the afternoon. Let's see some highlights of the later part of the game now from Waverly Park. So the kick out wide. Good mark to Michael Gale. Danger here for Hawthorne as he brings it into the pocket. Still danger because Bond. Checkside kick. He might have kicked this. He has. Good goal. Trying to finesse when you haven't really got any form to finesse with. Bond snaps off the pack and I think he's drilled it through the middle. He has. Roderick tries to centre the ball. He's done it pretty well to get it into the corridor. Rodgers a good tackle. Richardson a snap. Goal. Goal. Left footer by Kelleway to half forward. Charles in front can't mark with Taylor. Pritchard gets the ball out to Robrind. He's sandwiched. Loses the ball to Naish. Naish's hand pass to Miranda. Good play Tigers. Up to Daffy. Daffy's left footer. Looks pretty good. And he finishes on a high note. The Tigers certainly roaring at Waverley. Hawthorne able to manage just six goals. Six goals fifteen. And Richmond fourteen fourteen. And that's a difference of forty seven points. A forty seven point margin to Richmond over Hawthorne out at Waverley this afternoon. We'll take a break. We'll be checking the letter when we return. Well, another win for the Crows. It wasn't easy and it wasn't pretty. But a win in a danger game against Fitzroy and another win in Melbourne. So Robert Shaw will be smiling. Well, the football hasn't finished. We now head down to Geelong for the game between the Cats and St. Kilda. Your commentators are Dennis Kometty, Ian Robinson and Gerrit Healy. And we pick up the action at the five minute mark of the first quarter. St. Kilda have managed to behind. Geelong get the score. Just early in this big game between Geelong and St. Kilda. Magnificent conditions. Ground in perfect order. The scene's set for a great game of footy. Bardsley through half back. Vitovich in front. Ranks on his chest. Plays on. This is Zilla. And center half back goes out very wide. Smith leads in the race initially. Too much carry though. Runs back to Scholl. He walks it across the line as if walking the dog. And we'll have a boundary throw in. Just the attacking side of left center wing for these Cats. That's the forecast. At twenty four at the moment. Barnes and Copland. Riccardi throws it on the boot. Gains about twenty meters. Well worked by Peckett. Reaching over the top. Harvey stands and delivers. This is Neal. Hard against the line. Hugs the boundary with a kick. Play on the call. It was touched off the boot. Peckett goes back. And taking across the line. Another throw in. Just an update on a couple of the midfield matchups. Zilla is picking up hocking. A good couch. Pickering has gone on to Harvey. Leaving Riccardi on Windmar. A couple of very good matchups and great battles in the making. Ruck contest. Harvey hacks it out. Down towards half forward. Picked up by Burke. Burke quickly towards full forward. It covers the players there. Bounces towards the square. Getting back at Sanderson. Runs to the favorite side. Close to the boundary line. He kicks it nicely out of defense. Oh what about the leap by Jay Barnes. Magnificent. Couldn't bring it down. But what a leap. The big man was up but couldn't control the football. So we'll have a throw in at left half forward for St. Kilda. Barnes and Vidovic. Ball comes to ground. A scramble. Zilla gathers onto his right foot. Hooks it across his left shoulder. In towards the forward pocket. Low couldn't take the mark. Sanderson and McGrath combined. And away go the Cats. McGrath's left foot kick. Out in front of McKinnon. Gives him a chance to run. Daniels the chase of it. McKinnon gets the kick away. Towards the half forward area. And the mark is taken by Colbert. To Riccardi. Forward of the wing. The half forward. Hall. And 60 meters out from goal. Goes long down towards full forward. Mensch is working hard down there. It's only first from Wakeland. Sirikowski couldn't control it. Mensch bounces one through. First goal of the afternoon. David Mensch. He just handed the ball a lot cleaner there. Than Darrell Wakeland. Ball playing in a forward pocket. Being picked up by Robbie Neal. Gets the ball down long. His pretty good strength battle. Just Colbert coming through there. Knocks the ball fortuitously. Onto David Mensch and he starts fantastically well with a goal. Back in the center. There's been an infringement seen by one of the umpires. Obviously too many Geelong players in the square. So it'll go to Wittewick. Wittewick's kicked towards center half forward. Low in front. Couldn't take the mark. McGrath with the ball. It's the ground. Recovery not bad. Away goes Scholl. Gets it to Gary Hocking. His hand pass over the top. Sets it up for Barnes. Barnes back to Scholl. He crashes through the tackle. And then hand passes back in towards the middle of the ground where Tanner gets it to McKinnon. Geelong streaming goal. The kick is in front of Ablett. Very difficult but he's recovering good. Tackled quite fairly. Umpire calls play on. Sirikoski was the St Kilda player who tackled Ablett. Colbert. Very prominent early is Lee Colbert. His kick over on the full. So the free kick back there for St Kilda to be taken by Wakeland. Already Rob I think it's evident the umpires are just giving players who take possession just that extra split second to get rid of the ball. Which I think is the fairest way of that in the European history. Don't mind that at all Gerard. Fair enough. They have a go to get it. The kick in towards the goal square. Bardsley will run across the front of that goal square. Defended by the St Kilda players. He runs to half back and kicks out near the wing. Peckett. It's punched away solidly by Brewer. Over for a throw in. Just forward of Sederwing in Geelong's forward half. It's about 85 metres from their goal. They lead one goal to a point. The goal kicked by David Minch. Interesting that Bardsley who has taken on many players in the year. What we've seen of him this season to date didn't elect to go around Gary Abel on that time. Bardsley knocks it down. This is Burke. Saints have started well. Burke a probing kick down to the 50. Scholl goes back for the free kick. It's going to the Saints. Medridge to take it. It's about 60 metres out. Lowe comes on the lead. Into space. Takes it on the chest. He's only about 40 metres out. Directly in front. Made the decision to take that ball on the chest. Despite the flailing fist of Graham who almost reached around and knocked it away. Good work by the Saints there to open up the corridor for Stuart Lowe to run into. He's become pretty predictable if he just stayed in the goal square and put the big arms up. Four goals last week against North. He was flattened in the opening minute. Delighted with David King. Not a bad effort. It's a goal. Saints lead by a point. And I think like a lot of one team towns and Geelong is certainly one of those. Silence is definitely golden for the opposition side here. Not really a breath of encouragement from the crowd. Obviously very parochial to Geelong. But a good way to start for Stuart Lowe. A pretty good kick. The Saints are on their way. St Kilda through that goal by Stuart Lowe. Lead by a point. Very important centre-branch clearance. They get it wide for Wynma. There were a couple of very, very good tap-ons. Wynma's little left foot pass into the path of Lowe. Oh, Scholl taken down solidly by Lowe. Umpire sees that as illegal. So the free kick will go to Scholl. In the right back pocket. His kick lands out towards half-back. Hits the ground couch. Now Riccardi. Little left foot kick by Riccardi back towards the middle. Ozzie Jones a chance. Overruns it. Tanna. Hand pass. Just a little bit too slick there for his teammate. Now McGrath. That's far more effective. Scholl's kick goes out near the wing. Serakoski strong. Strong footy by David Serakoski. Follows it all the way through. Kicks the full-thorough and it's backed by Lowe. And if he kicks a goal, I'm sure the Saints players will get it back and give Serakoski. So plenty of encouragement. Well there's one man trying to make up for the lack of numbers here for St. Kilda. But this was good play, Robbo. You called it very well. He just kept running in a straight line and ricocheted off Ozzie Jones. But a very well-weighted kick to just get over the reaching hand of John Barnes, who has obviously been asked to drop into the space. That St. Kilda's forward line have created for Lowe. Debris just blowing a little bit from Stuart Lowe's right. So if he aims this just inside the right goal post, he's hooked it a little bit. So it's another behind on the scoreboard for St. Kilda. They probably need to lead Geelong a quarter time by at least a couple of goals, you would think. So disappointing result from that set shot by Stuart Lowe. McGuire again offers a lead. This time it's on it. Up from the back pocket. Thought about going back to Graham. Some indecision now. Gives it to Graham. Graham a thumping kick. Pulls this one a little. The Saints have got the numbers. Burke knocks it down in front. Riccardi and two minds eventually hacked it out of mid-air close to the line. It's run across by Zilla. I think the big challenge for Geelong as the season progresses and as Ben Graham's career progresses is to find some options for him. Loose options from kick-ins. The attacking side of the defensive 50. Just a little chip kick there for 20 metres and another 40 metre kick. Only achieves the same result as if he was letting go of the ball. Neal knocked it down into the path of Wynma. Bacon goals square. Will it run on? Yes it has. Marvellous kick. You know it's interesting. Riccardi playing on Wynma. I was just watching that match-up when that boundary line, boundary throw-in came in. They're both off to the left and Wynma read it a little bit better than Peter Riccardi. Well he went on the attacking side out to the front. And he was without a man. It's terrific I think Robbo when you see two attacking players on each other. Riccardi and Wynma both will get plenty of possessions. That was a good goal. Well pretty good football by St Kilda for their second goal kick by Nicky Wynma. Down goes Colbert, a heavy bump. Ball spills now for Wynma. He's close to the boundary line. Gives the hand pass away to Burke. Back to Wynma. Back now to Harvey. Harvey. Ran onto his right foot. He's seen towards centre half forward low, couldn't grab it. Jones, hand pass. Not really all that effective. Back goes McKinnon to defend for the Cats. His kick will land near the 50 metre line. And the mark is taken by Gary Hoppe. His first effective position, a mark and kick. Goes across the ground. And in comes Low. Crashes, pickering to the ground. That used to be 50 metres and it is on this occasion. No doubt that was designed to hold pickering up.
