And you probably recognize me from my hit song, Macarena. Now I'm here to show you how to actually do the Macarena, along with my new song, Amover la Colita, and two traditional songs, Latin, a salsa, and a merengue. Now I have here my girls, Dima, Vivian, Sonia, and Luba, to show you how to do the Macarena. Let's go. Are we ready? Yeah. Yeah. While touring, I've discovered several variations of the Macarena. So what I've done is I've taken those and I've incorporated it into my choreography. Now I'm going to show you four of the basic ones that we have in our performances. What I'm going to do now is I'm going to run through it with the music, without the instructions, so this way you have an idea of the basic one. And I'm going to progress from there to a more advanced Macarena with more movements. Okay? Here we go. Two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. And then we're going to run through it with the music. So the first thing you want to do is spread your feet apart, shoulder width, approximately. Now you want a slight bend of the knees, slightly. And you want to get this motion, like a sway, like a shift of the weight in the hip, in the hip area. Now once you've got that, okay, you want to start with your right foot by a little kick, the left foot, another little kick, and you incorporate those together by shifting the weight from left to right, left to right. It's like a little pumping motion, a little sway of the hips, like this. So the next thing we're going to do is the arm movements in the Macarena. So you extend your right arm first, out, then the left arm, then the right arm goes to the back of your head, on the neck area, and the left, then it goes down to the hip on the side, and then the left. Now that we've got that, let's go through the weight of the legs again. Right, left, right, left. Now extend your right arm out, left arm out, back, back, hip, hip. We've got that, right? So now let's incorporate a kick, and there's also a roll. As after we do the hip, there's a roll of an eight, a figure eight, in here, like this, okay? You've got that, right, left. Now you cross over with your hand to your left hip, the front, and the same thing with the left to the right. Now you bring your right hand back and the left hand back, and you do your figure eight and the jump. Now that we've gotten that advanced, we're going to go ahead and show you our version of the Macarena, which we call the Cuban version, okay? It's a little spicy, okay? Now you bring your right arm out the same way with the palm flat, the left arm. Now you bring the right hand over the left arm simultaneously, okay? Then you grab your hands together, you give it like to the right of your head, like a little chop, two times to one side, and then two times to the other side. Now you go to your hips, both hands, you give it a roll, roll, roll, and then a pump. Now that we've incorporated all the four versions of the Macarena that I just taught you, let's put them to use.
