Good morning, and welcome to Reflections, a daily devotional message brought to you by KHOU-TV. Hello, I'm Pastor Gerald Edwards, pastor of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. The other day, while sitting, thinking about today's problems and what was going on around me, I looked and I discovered that my Bible had turned to Psalms 121. And there it says that I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from which cometh my help, for my help cometh from the Lord, who made the heavens and the earth. Sometimes when we look around us, we see others that have problems just as we have. We see others that have tears in their eyes. We see others that are standing at the crossroads of their life, or who's in their moments of depression or in their moments of sadness. And they too are like us, who don't know which way to turn. But notice that the writer here says that I will lift up mine eyes. And that's great news, that we can lift up our eyes and look above all of the problems that surround us. And notice he says that when I look, I see he who made the hills, he who's able to prevent me from falling, and him who's able to give me a crown of life. He says that when I look toward the hills, I can see the Almighty God in His beauty. And so I say to you, lift up your eyes unto the hills from which cometh your help. Up next on Health Matters...
