For the first time in seven years, the Grammy Awards will be held in the Big Apple.
This year's 30th anniversary celebration will take place Wednesday night at Radio City
Music Hall with comedian Billy Crystal hosting the festivities for a second time in a row.
The cherished trophy will be handed out in 71 categories from rock to Bach, but the focus
is always on top picks for album of the year.
The nominees are Bad by Michael Jackson, The Joshua Tree from U2, Prince's Sign of the
Times, Trio from Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris, and Whitney from Whitney
Houston.
While the music industry is gearing up for the Grammys, Mike Tyson is warming up for
his HBO World Championship boxing bout against Tony Tubbs in Tokyo.
Everything's been going greatly well and I'm in great shape.
And it's so amusing that when you have sessions of training, there are at least 100 people
in, and the facilities are so small and they're packed in there like sardines.
And you know, it's amusing and it's exciting.
While Tyson was busy training, his new broad Robin Givens was busy doing her own thing.
You know, Robin does what she does best, she goes shopping.
Well Hollywood is now in the process of preparing for its biggest night of the year.

How did this real life city girl prepare herself for such a country role?
I spent two and a half months in Austin and I hung out with a lot of the women that were
involved with Willie Nelson's band.
It was important to get an understanding of what their priorities are because it's different.
I mean, I'm from New York, you know, I grew up in a city and, you know, very sophisticated
kind of atmosphere and these people are, you know, it's a much more rural background with
a different value system.
So it was very helpful for me and I brought that experience into Baja.
