Benning looked radiant as she accepted Show West's award for Female Star of the Year at the Paris Hotel.
ET had the exclusive backstage position, and Annette told me she wasn't concerned about flying from LA for the show.
DreamWorks flew us all here on a jet, so I was able to go.
There's no danger to the baby to actually fly.
So as long as it was a short trip, I'm going back tonight, I felt it was okay.

Dealing with the death of his wife Linda was made even more difficult for Paul McCartney because he had to do it in the public eye.
Well now we look at how Paul and other stars carry on after personal tragedies.

In a rare bit of public revelry, Paul McCartney kicked up his heels with a waitress at New York's infamous Hogs and Heifers bar Tuesday night.
The 57-year-old widower danced and sang his heart out, much to the enjoyment of the Watering Hole's patrons.
Since losing wife Linda to breast cancer in 1998, McCartney has grieved privately, far from the limelight.
More recently, however, he's been spotted with British model Heather Mills, though the two are just friends.
And one tabloid report even had Paul linked to Bo Derek, whose husband John passed away just one month after Linda's death.
Okay, I could say no comment, but actually I've never even met him.

The horrific car crash that killed Princess Diana and Dodi Fayad left one survivor, Trevor Reese Jones. His face badly injured, the former bodyguard has kept away from the media spotlight until now.
I think he wanted to be perceived as telling the story straight.
Trevor Reese Jones tells that story to Mike Wallace Sunday on 60 Minutes and he says Dodi Fayad's sudden decision to leave the hotel through the back door is partly to blame for the accident.
I could have insisted, if you like, that no way we're going out the back of that hotel, but you can't live your life on if onlys.
Reese Jones and another of Fayad's bodyguards are very critical of their employer, saying Dodi's impulsive change of plans was typical.
He would never give the bodyguards enough time to set up proper security, no matter where they were going.
Dodi was impulsive and impatient and wanted his way, wanted the driver always to go a little faster.
Reese Jones and his colleague also played down the alleged romance between Diana and Dodi.
He didn't think that there was an engagement. They had no idea that there was an engagement.
He says Dodi's attention was somewhat divided.
When Diana and her two sons were invited down to the south of France to the Fayad estate, Dodi would spend his days there, but he spent his nights with Kelly Fisher, who he had stashed, if you will, on a boat nearby.
Neither Trevor nor Cas Wingfield, his friend, his fellow bodyguard, thought that Dodi measured up sufficiently for Diana to marry him.
They called Dodi a waster.
For Trevor, this is a miraculous return to public view, following the repair of his face by plastic surgery.
It was a 12, 13-hour operation, and his mother tells me that his face was like that.
It was as though he'd been hit with a hard frying pan.
He puts the bulk of the blame on driver Henri Paul, who was drunk at the time.
The only person who made a big mistake that night was Henri Paul to say he was fit to drive.
They did not know that he had been drinking alcohol. They thought that he was drinking pineapple juice.
I think that he feels guilty, if you will, because he was the sole survivor.
Trevor says he turned down million-dollar offers from the tabloids to tell his story.
He has instead written a book.
