It's been an eventful day for the Yakima Sun Kings and their fans.
Earlier today, a deal was announced to sell the team.
And tonight, the Sun Kings advance to the finals of the CBA playoffs.
That's where we're going to start tonight with tonight's game at the Sun Dome.
Jeff Zimbita here with that.
I remember covering this team three years ago. They started off 1-25.
Now they're the national conference chess.
And sit back and really take a look at it. It is amazing.
Ever since they moved to Yakima back in 1990, the Sun Kings have never been a winner.
In fact, before this season, they had played just one postseason game.
That was last year, and they lost.
Today, on the day the franchise announced the sale, which will keep them in Yakima,
the Sun Kings are also the national conference kings headed to the CBA.
