This is your 90-second all-news channel update on Showtime. Hello, I'm Kevin McDowell. Police in Miami say a feud between rival drug gangs may be behind a deadly shooting early this morning. Four people were killed and 18 were wounded when the shooting started at a crowded Jamaican nightclub about 15 miles north of Miami. Several gunmen shut out the windows and sprayed gunfire to the club while 75 people were celebrating a birthday. The United Nations widened its relief operation in Somalia today. Somalia's president, meanwhile, says his people face extinction from starvation. A UN cargo plane made an airlift from Kenya to Somalia's interior carrying 18 tons of high-protein food. According to the U.S., many 5,000 people are dying every day. The United Nations convoy had to negotiate crossfire and landmines today to reach the besieged Bosnia city of Deir ez-Zor. Fortunately, the convoy, which was carrying relief supplies for 70,000 people, was not targeted by snipers and made the 30-mile trip from Sarajevo safely. On a lighter note, there's a strange relationship developing at a New Jersey zoo. Judy, a 14-year-old monkey, has adopted a stray kitten. The two met one day when the kitten and cricket watered into the monkey cage, and Judy isn't playing with the kitten, she's grooming it, making it the cleanest kitten that could be. That's our report for now. Thanks for joining us. This has been an All News Channel Update on Showtime.
