My house is a busy place. At any given time there are at least three kids, which are mine.
There are sordid friends, two cats, a dog, and on occasion work permitting one tired husband.
Sure it's complicated, but no matter how hectic, home is the place where we catch up with each other's day.
Where we unwind, where we entertain, where we live. And it looks lived in.
I like that because that's what a house is really for.
Just sometimes it looks a little too lived in.
In fact, I begin to wonder what exactly has been living in it while I've been at the office.
You know what I mean? Those accidental spills that never seem to happen on the kitchen floor,
but always on the living room carpet, especially just after you've had it professionally cleaned.
When you have a stain on your blouse that you just can't get out, you throw it out or you make it into a dust rag.
