My parents were very excited that the Navy was going to pay for four years of college.
And after that, I had a job. I went right to flight school.
I had no means, no way of supporting myself.
I remember the look on my father's face because he knew I was going to go to college.
Practically going to school for free.
I received a scholarship from the United States Navy.
They knew I paid for my tuition. They paid for my books.
And they're actual college professors that come aboard to teach us while on the way.
