The guys out here at Dead One Fairchild have just picked up Santa's blip on their screens.
This blip that we're tracking is Santa Claus.
We're giving him the call sign of Jolly One.
He's located somewhere above Moses Lake at this time.
Any second now they should be in radio contact with Santa.
Jolly One, Jolly One come in please.
This is Fairchild.
Ho ho ho, reach alive and clear Fairchild.
Sir we have a problem over here.
What seems to be the problem Sergeant Thomas?
Santa seems to be losing altitude.
Can you check the thrust factor?
Thrust factor's fine, 5.6.
How about the weather?
Weather looks good.
Give me the radio.
Jolly One Fairchild, what seems to be the problem Santa?
It's the reindeer.
They haven't eaten since we left the North Pole.
I'm not sure if they have the strength to make it.
Stand by Santa.

Ladies and gentlemen this is absolutely astounding.
Operation red stripe is a top secret plan all Air Force bases have in case they ever
need to refuel Santa in mid-flight.
But it's never been tried before and certainly never in pitch black conditions like tonight.
But already we can hear the aircraft getting ready to launch.
Ok crew this is what we've been training for.
Santa's counting on us.
Let's break out those checklists.
Matt, operation red stripe.

Put reindeer food in the modified reindeer feeding apparatus.
