What does the Red Cross do in a situation like this?
We're here to help the families. We give them food and blankets and we provide shelter.
I was with the families last night and thank goodness they didn't lose their lives.
But in so many ways they did.
When people think of the Red Cross, they think of hurricanes and blood drives. But there's so much more.
The Red Cross is always involved in the community. It's neighbor helping neighbor.
Who pays for all of this to happen?
We help people. People help us.
First to respond with care and relief.
