The area was closed to reporters this afternoon. The soldiers were from the 58th Combat Engineer Company, their regiment headquartered in Fulda. A spokesman in Frankfurt said instructors were demonstrating equipment used to blow holes in roads to make them impassable. It was engineers showing scouts how this thing operates.
