Well, with our current dip in the jet stream,
Anchorage has been quite tranquil and stayed that way today,
but some changes taking place across the Hawaiian islands
will get some rain showers coming through tonight
and tapering off during the course of tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Anchorage stays sunny and at 34 degrees.
Back around the contiguous 48, the clouds
are locked in across the Pacific Northwest, Seattle, Portland
tonight.
Ooh, it's cool across the interior valleys.
High pressure sitting just offshore.
San Jose, not too shabby.
Ooh, hey, the snow.
We spoke about it earlier on.
Oh, perhaps one to three inches across the Wasatch
three to five inches over the Rockies by day's end tomorrow.
But that storm system gradually weakens
and the precipitation shifts on into the plains.
So most areas across the desert southwest
stay on the dry side, including San Francisco.
It's farther north that will have rain and snow.
But the snow levels throughout the Cascades
gradually rising above pass level by day's end.
If you're traveling, well, we'll have some heavy thunderstorms
from Dallas on northeast bound.
Much of the east coast stays on the dry side.

Now, remember I spoke about a dip in the jet stream,
