Since July of this year, several Salt Lake area communities have experienced a growing number of business burglaries.
In North Salt Lake, there have been 10 such crimes.
On August 15th, Mortenson Foods, a creamery in North Salt Lake, was burglarized.
Being a non-cash business, no money was stolen, but the building sustained over $2,000 in damage.
The same perpetrators are suspected in all of the break-ins as an identical method of operation is employed.
Under cover of the knife, the intruders force entry by throwing a large rock through a window or glass door.
Petty cash is taken while property is left behind.
Police are looking for a dark-colored pickup.
