Angels are all around us perhaps not exactly like this one, but they're there
I've been asked the question more times than I can remember friends. Do you believe in?

And I are going to reveal to you why we believe in angels and why we believe the Bible
Ecclesiately talks about these heavenly beings. In fact, do you find this subject very fascinating? Don't you?
Oh, I'm excited Rex Ella and I think about the story that was shown on television
Television featuring Jimmy Stewart and the invisible rabbit Harvey and how they communicated one with the other
Then there have been stories where invisible spirits acted like a conscience to the person
To whom the spirit was speaking
Well, we're going to reverse that because the Bible teaches that angels who our spirits often
Materialize to come and do a good deed to someone on this earth. What?

Michael who fights and avenges God's foes
Raphael who receives the departing spirits of the dead and
Uriel who will summon everybody to judgment a
Time magazine poll indicates that 70% of Americans believe in angels in a Gallup youth survey found that
75% of teenagers
Believe in angels. I'm really not surprised at that because as I mentioned right at the top of this video. Everybody's talking about angels
Belief in angels is virtual soaring across the religious spectrum in America from mainline Christianity
To New Agers in comfort from these heavenly helpers in a troubled and often chaotic world
From Genesis to Revelation the Bible the angels of God are
prominently mentioned
108 times in the Old Testament and
165 times in the New Testament a total of 273 times
One thing is certain friends
Every time one opens the Bible, there's a rustle of angels
I've been greatly impressed as I read this to you the number of times that angels
I mentioned the Bible
273 times that's amazing to me Jack in every text about angels is
Exactly, right because God put these verses in this holy book
Jesus said before he parted from this earth in John 16 verses 12 and 13
I have yet many things to say unto you, but you can't bear them now
How be it when he the spirit of truth has come the Holy Spirit?
He'll guide you all truth or he shall not speak of himself
But what's the Holy Spirit shall hear above?
that shall he speak and
What did he hear from above and how did he speak?
through men
because 2nd Peter 1 21's only men of God ache as they were moved

The Holy Spirit by all scripture is given by inspiration in Timothy 3 verses 6 17. That's the greek

Because it this is the word of truth
second corinthians said and every word of God is pure over 30 verse 5 and
It's going to last and forever

And i'm going to put jack to the test right now
Number one i'd like to know who aided the angels jack and when?
This one one in the beginning god created heaven
Now the word god there is not yahweh jehovah, but it's elohim

And anytime anything ends in i am it's elohim meaning
Right back in verse 1 of genesis 1 ending of the bible. There was a trinity

One of the commandments is thou shalt have both god's

But what does the hebrew say thou shalt have no elohim before me
You see elohim plural more than one in the beginning elohim created
That's what ecclesiastes 12 1 says remember how thy create whores
plural in the day's youth

We could talk about the father god the son god the holy spirit
Involved in creation, but i believe that the father allowed jesus
To do the primary job creating

And everything that's visible

All things were made by christ and without christ not anything made
That was made 110 he was in the world and the world was made by him and the world
Knew him not
Romans 11 36 for of christ and through christ and to christ all things
All things you can't mistake it
But I love colossians 1 16 followed by christ where all things created that are in heaven
And that are in earth visible and invisible invisible has to do with angels
Whether they be thrones dominions principalities or powers all things
We're created by christ and for christ now principalities and powers there have to do with angelic orders as we're going to see
later in this study, but
The wonderful thing of it is jesus created all of it
And when we get to hebrews chapter 1 verses 1 and 2 we find
God who would send root times and divers manners
Spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets hath in this last day spoken unto us by his son
Whom he hath appointed heir of all things and by whom also he made the worlds christ did it all
And the next verse says that christ upholds
All things by the word of his power christ christ and that's why one day we're going to see jesus face to face
And we christians if we've earned crowns, we'll throw them at his feet
And cry out listen to it
Thou art worthy christ received glory honor and power for thou
Has created
all things
I think it's very obvious that it was christ who created the angels visible
and the
Invisible things colossians 1 16. We're going to investigate that
Invisible in just a few moments. I want to see a little bit more about these angels if they materialize
And all the rest of it, but number two on my list here is friends
Are they intelligent or are they just like robots?
Do they have intelligence on their own tremendous intelligence?
The bible teaches in first peter chapter 1 verse 11
That the old testament prophets couldn't figure out the two appearings of christ because it wasn't spelled out like it is in the new testament
They couldn't figure out how christ or their messiah could be a suffering servant
And still a majestic king
They couldn't to correlate the message
Having to do with the cross and the crown
But it says in the next verse 12 and these things the angels
Desire to look into to study why because they are intelligent beings
And in ezekiel 28 17 it speaks about the wisdom of lucifer the angel
The wisdom of lucifer the angel and of course he headed up the fallen angels, but nevertheless
All the company of angels good and bad
The elect first emity 521 and others all have supreme intelligence
Because then they have intelligence they speak and they talk
Correct. Oh, yes
Uh, there is a language of angels what first corinthians 13 one
He says though. I speak with the tongues of men and of angels and have not loved i'm become a sounding brass
Or a tinkling symbol. I don't know what that language is, but the bible teaches that there is a language
angels use to communicate with one another
Then over in revelation 8 13 as the judgments are falling upon the earth during the tribulation hour
The angels in heaven are crying out. Whoa

to the inhabitants of the earth
because
horrible deluge of judgments
Will soon fall
And they're filled with anxiety at that moment
Have you ever come out of a concert and someone looked at you and said, whoa, she's saying like an angel
Do angels sing jack or is that just a figure of speech in job 38 7?
It says the morning stars sang and it's talking about the time of creation
Well morning stars, how do I know?
You're talking about angels because the bible interprets the bible and in revelation
120 it says that the seven stars are the seven angels of the seven churches
Recorded in revelation chapters two and three
Mm these angels do they have feelings? Can they be happy? Can they show sorrow?
What is this like with the angels jay
In luke 15 10 it says there is joy
In the presence of the angels of god over one sinner that repents
The message gets true to them when someone on earth is converted and maybe they relay the message to a father or mother
Some mom prayed for her son for years
She went to be with the lord. Her prayer was not fulfilled. But now the message
Reaches the glory side it happened tonight and the angels rejoice
Not only do they have joy, but they have anxiety and i'm going to quote that verse again
In revelation 8 1 it says there was silence
in heaven
for the space of half an hour
Why 14 more judgments will fall upon the earth during that horrendous tribulation hour?
and now
during this seventh
judgment
Or the contemplation during the time of the seventh judgment the angels in heaven are very quiet
They're very disturbed
Because every judgment is now going to increase in intensity and so they say whoa

To the inhabitants
To the habiters of the earth. They are very
compassionate beings with feelings
for the human race i'm so
So glad to hear that aren't you?
Always like to talk about angels and I had all these good thoughts about them now
I'm so happy to know that my thoughts were real. Here's something wonderful by dr
Ac gable line who is certainly a great scholar of the past and I love what he has to say about
The vast numbers of angels their number is so vast that no man can comprehend
The total their intelligence is akin to that of god their strength and power is so great that one angel can slay
185,000 soldiers in one night. You remember that story in the bible?
Well, they are creatures as deathless as god himself
There are fleets of them squadrons of them millions of them and they are all on the side of those who love
and obey
Jesus christ
It's glorious for the believer to realize that this vast host
recognizes our lord and savior jesus christ as their commander in chief for by him
And for him were all things made in heaven
And in earth, I just got a blessing out of that when I was reading this
Jack do you have any idea how many angels there are?
This is really exciting
hebrews 12 22 speaks about an
innumerable
company of angels
They can't be counted
And in revelation chapter 5 verse 11
There's a heavenly choir
Assembling composed of angels
And it states the number
Of this great choir was ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands and thousands
Now ten thousand times ten thousand is an incredible number
And with the additional thousands and thousands it probably is somewhere
In the neighborhood of two hundred and fifty million. How many americans are there?
250 million take every american from all 50 states
Assemble them for a mass choir
And that is a picture of these angels
singing
The next verse states the song
Worthy is the lamb
Oh, I love it because jesus christ is the lamb of god that takes away the sins of the world john 129
And a choir of 250 million angels is singing praises to jesus
In those glorious words worthy
Worthy is the lamb of god the lord jesus christ, but there's more than that
I believe that there is at least an angel for every believer upon the face of the earth because hebrews 114 says
Are not the angels ministering spirits?
Send forth the minister to them who shall be the heirs of salvation and that's interesting and we're going to deal with that a little later
So I believe there's one for every believer and they minister two believers during their lifetime and sojourn here on earth
But I also believe that there is an angel
For every child upon the face of the earth. Oh, I like that. I like that
Because in matthew 18 10 jesus said take heed
That you despise not one of these little ones
Because I say unto you
That in heaven
Their angels do always behold the face of my father
There's a ministering angel for every child on this earth and oh how jesus loved little children
And he said in luke 18 16 allow little children to come unto me
And forbid them not for of such as the kingdom of heaven and I believe that angel is there till that child is old enough
to know right from wrong
Which we call the age of accountability
And probably loses that guardian angel
When he knows that he should accept christ as savior but refuses but otherwise
They're there. It's a beautiful thought, but let's think of it another way
When satan fell
And he was one of the anointed cherubs and the cherub is an angel in ezekiel 28
He took one third of heaven's angels with him
He took one third of heaven's angels with him for they followed him in disobedience
revelation 12 4
And in revelation 9 verses 14 to 16 we have one of the horrendous judgments of the tribulation hour period
and
This is the moment in time
When one of the greatest armies in history marches across
the world to the middle east
As says that the number of the army was two hundred thousand thousand two hundred million in revelation 9 16
Many believe that these are either demonic beings or
People who are controlled by a demonic spirit to go down
through the middle east to israel
just to obliterate much of the human race because
They slay one third of mankind when they make this move
So here are two hundred million fallen angels
There are another two hundred million singing the praises of god
Crying out worthy as the lamb
So already we have over four hundred million of these spirits
So we have no idea just how many there are except that we go back to
Hebrews 12 22
They are an innumerable
innumerable
company
There's just so many they can't be counted. In fact when that gathering demoniac
had
Demons cast out of him
Jesus said what's your name?
He said my name is legion for we are many
A legion in the roman army involved six thousand soldiers. So here were six thousand of these fallen angels
controlling the body of one human being and that's why
He was acting
insane
cutting himself with stones
And of course when jesus casts these fallen angels out of him
2,000 entered into the swine
Who immediately took their lives as they ran into the sea?
We'll have a thorough study on these malignant spirits on video, too
Mm-hmm, so they're good and bad angels. All right now jack has told us that there are millions and millions of angels
Uh jack, where do all these millions and millions of angels live?
Jesus said in john 6 38 I came down from heaven. You see he didn't begin
In bethlehem's manger as that baby
He was from all eternity. He's from old from everlasting in mica 5 2
2, but one day he left heaven to take on himself a body so he could die for us on the cross
Jesus having been there knew what was on the other side for he had created these things as we've already said
And so in matthew 22 30 he said the angels of god are in heaven
When the lord jesus christ returns
Matthew 16 27 says the son of man shall come in his glory with the holy angels
They're going to return with him
From where the third heaven second carinthians 12 2, you know, there are three heavens
The first is the atmosphere. The second is the stratosphere
We have all the solar systems and the third is the heaven of heavens where god almighty sits on his throne
That's where he is with christ the holy spirit
And millions upon millions of these ministering spirits
So they are in heaven. There's no doubt about it
And when jesus christ returns, they're coming with him from heaven
In fact, matthew 25 31 says he shall come in his glory with all
His holy angels and then he shall sit upon the throne of his glory here on earth
But it's from heaven that's where they are
But oh they can move quickly to get to us as that ministering spirit whenever we need help as we'll see
Mmm, you know jack. I have heard you say
That dunkin donuts is the heavenly manna
Donuts or potato chips or angel hair pasta
But I do have a question. I think it's legitimate. Do angels eat
in genesis 18 2
when three men
And one was the angel of the lord which I believe to be a christophany appearance of jesus christ plus two other angels
Came to visit abraham. They ate where genesis 18 2 in genesis 19 3 when they visited a lot
He prepared for them a meal and they ate but psalm 78 25
Talks about the israelites wandering in the wilderness and says god gave them angels food
And if you back up a verse it talks about god
Raining corn from heaven upon the ground for them. So maybe the southerners have it right
When they talk about cornbread being angels food
Well, we're not sure what it all means, but they do eat and we could show how jesus christ in his new body
That glorified body after the resurrection
ate in fact luke 24
verse 41
41 jesus speaking saying have you hear any meat any food and they gave him a piece of broil fish and honeycomb
And he took it and did eat before them and the bible says when we see jesus
We shall be like him for we shall see him as he is first
John 3 2 and if he ate in that new body we're going to eat in our new glorified bodies throughout eternity
And uh, oh, you know, what would heaven be without some good donuts and an occasional handful of potato chips
Well, I know about the cornbread. I was weird on that good old southern cooking
I love what dr. Gabaline said i'm going to back up just a moment refresh your memory
Their strength and power is so great that one angel can slay
185,000 soldiers in
One night now that's pretty strong. Do they have unlimited strength and power jack
Psalm 103 verse 20 says
bless the lord all you angels who excel
now in strength
And the figure you quoted is actually
isaiah
37 36 where one angel slew
185,000 beings
In a very short period so they are powerful. They're not all powerful or omnipotent like god almighty the father
but
The bible also teaches that in the morning of the resurrection matthew 28 2
One angel rolled away that humongous stone
It would have taken many men to do it
But this angel was able to do it because they do excel in strength
Mm-hmm. Well, dr. Gabaline went on to say this if you recall they are creatures as deathless
as god
Himself in other words, they don't die. Do you agree with this jack? Yes. Don't die. No
Uh in luke 20 verse 36 it speaks about the resurrection
resurrection
And it says neither do they the resurrected ones?
Die from that point onward because they have their new bodies for they are equal unto the angels
They're going to live forever from the time. They are resurrected and get their new bodies
Because they're going to be like angels who do not die and this is very interesting in daniel chapter 10 verses 12 to 14
gabriel an angel appears
to the prophet in answer to his prayer
but tells him
That his prayers could not get through for 21 days because they were battling these evil spirits in high places
the fallen angels of ephesians 6 12
and therefore
three weeks past
Before things could happen because of this home humongous battle in the heavens between god's holy angels
and the fallen angels or demonic spirits in the heavenlies
now
Just before christ returns to earth
During the tribulation hour we find michael once again battling and it was michael who
Battled while gabriel came through with the message for daniel
And he held off the wicked hosts for 21 days
now
2500 years has already passed
We believe this next scene could be soon
but
Just before I say messiah comes before christ returns
There is this battle in the heavens in revelation 12 verses 7 to 12 says
There was war in heaven michael and his angels fought against the dragon satan and the dragon and his angels against michael
But the dragon and his angels prevailed not
And the dragon was cast out to the earth and his angels with him satan is in control of heaven one and two but at this time
He's cast out of heaven one and two
For the earth and so verse 12 says whoa
To the inhabitors of the earth and the sea because the devil is come down unto you
Having great wrath because he knows he has but a short time
All the fury of hell will be unleashed on earth at that time
Because michael won the battle in the heavenlies and all three heavens from this point onward
Are pure
All the defiling elements have been removed but the point i'm trying to make is that it was michael who did the fighting
In daniel chapter 10 verses 12 to 14
25 centuries ago and the same michael who will do
This great battle for god alone
And the same michael who will do this great battle for god almighty just before christ returns
so if he
And the early two angels named the bible michael and gabriel
Had lived for 2500 years 25 centuries as the bible makes it very clear
Then angels do not die. It's nice to know they don't die. I'm glad
All right. I have three attributes. I would like to ask jack right now. The first one is omniscient
Now we know that god is omniscient because he knows everything about everything our angels omniscient also jack. Do they know everything? No
Only god is omniscient
Knows everything about everything and all things about all things and axe 15 18 says known under god are all his work from the beginning
of the world
And first time of the 117 says that he is the only wise god
angels don't know
Many things and jesus said in matthew 24 36
But of that day and hour my return knows no man
No, not even the angels of heaven for their limited in knowledge. All right. The second one is
Omnipotent are all powerful again. We know god is all powerful our angels all powerful. They're very powerful
Again, only god is omnipotent possesses all power and I like roman's 120
the invisible things

Through the creation of the world are clearly seen
By that which is created
Even his eternal power and godhead. Let me put that into modern english. It says as one gazes into the heavens
He can see that this invisible god has power
And glory because of this creation. It took power to put it all there and that's why son 19
Verse one says the heavens declare the glory of god
And the firmament showeth his handiwork day unto day utter speech and night unto night shows knowledge
There's no speech to our language where their voice is not here. What power what glory
And the psalmist said in chapter eight verse three. Oh when I consider thy heavens
the work of thy hands
The moon and the stars which thou hast ordained
What is man?
That you're mindful of them. We are such
Insignificant morsels of dust. Why do you even bother with this? God? He had gotten a vision of the power of god
now while angels excel in power, and in isaiah 37 36 one angel slew
185,000 in the matter of less than a day
Yet, they're not all powerful and that's why
As I said a few moments ago when
Gabriel brought the message to daniel in chapter 10 verses 12 to 14
There was a battle ensuing in the heavenlies
between the two groups of angels that lasted for over three weeks and michael was holding the fort so
Gabriel could could get through with
The message for this great prophet, but the point is had they been all powerful would have been over
instantaneously
But they didn't have that power another attribute that we know belongs to god
To our lord jesus omnipresent
everywhere
omnipresent everywhere at all times no matter where we are he is there angels yes or no
I love this rex. I'm going to talk about the trinity for a moment
First of all the father is everywhere at all times
jeremiah 23 24
God yahweh the father says can any hide himself in secret places?
That I shall not see him seth the lord
Do not I fill heaven and earth?
What a god
But jesus is that second member of the trinity?
And matthew 18 20 states
Jesus speaking where two or three are gathered together there am I jesus in the midst
And that two or three can be in america belgium holland
germany china japan brazil
Wherever they're gathered christ is there
Because he is omnipresent everywhere at all times. He's god. Then of course the holy spirit is everywhere at all times
psalm 139 verses 7 to 10
The psalm said whether shall I flee from thy spirit?
Whether shall I go from thy presence the spirit first and then the father?
He said if I ascend into heaven thou art there
If I make my bed in hell thou art there
If I take the wings and of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea even there
God is everywhere
But the angels aren't rexella
and that's why
in
colossians
116 when it mentions
principalities and powers
And we're really going to get into this in
video two
It actually is a real
It actually is a rank
Like an army rank
five-star generals
lieutenants captains right down to buck privates
Because they can't be everywhere all times like the father son of the holy spirit can be
They've got an entire army that relays the messages through space through the commander in chief
the fallen angel lucifer
Hmm, but we don't have to fear any of them
because
We have a great powerful omnipotent
God the father god the son and god the holy spirit and the angels are subject unto them
first peter 3 22 again
I'd like to talk I alluded to this just a little while ago
If angels can materialize and we can see them perhaps as men
And uh, dr. Gavilan has something very interesting to say about this. I'd like to read to you
We know from scripture that angels appeared in visible form generally in the likeness of a human body
Pious hebrews in old testament times received strangers in their homes entertained them
Only to discover later that they were messengers of god
Who look like ordinary human beings?
Well from other scriptures, we learn that their bodies sometimes possess a marvelous glory
Their garments are described as shining their faces like the lightning
And their whole appearance in whiteness like the snow
How can this be reconciled with the assertion that they are only spirits?
It is answered that they possess the faculty to appear in
corporal or physical appearance
At will that they can pierce the universe at a speed even greater than the speed of light
So at will dr. Gavilan says that they can become a human form and that they can
Faster than lightning
Come from the third heaven to the earth and there you have a human form jack to me. This is very amazing
About the attributes of angels
They do make appearances and you know, I took my computer bible and I
Put the word angel of the lord into it
And as rexella said earlier, there are 108 texts in the old testament about angels and
It constantly says the angel of the lord appeared the angel of the lord appeared
But when we get to genesis 18 verse 2
Three beings appeared that looked like men
one of them was
a christophany
There are theophany's and christophany's in the old testament a theophany is an appearance of the father
usually
In invisible form once the father
A christophany is an appearance of christ for he was from old from everlasting as i've already said mica 5 2
and with
christ
There were two other angels. Look it up genesis 18 2
Now they came to talk to abraham about the horrendous sin that was going on in sodom
And said we have come from heaven
To put an end to this sin judgments coming
And abraham pleaded with him. He says oh
If there are five angels
He says oh if there are 50 righteous people will you spare the city?
And god said yes for he said god I love
Then
He said how about 40? Yes 30. Yes
Even 20. Yes
How about 10 lord?
Even 10
But guess what rexella there weren't even 10 righteous people as i'll show you in a moment
The point I want to make is that these were angels of god who had
materialized you see they have to come in the form of a man because if they appeared
As seraphim with six wings
People would become very frightened
And so they appear
In a form that does not frighten or bewilder people
But these angels I want you to notice something
First of all walked as men
genesis 18 2
Verse 4 they bathed as men
Verse 8 they ate as men
And verse 9 they talked as men, but they were angels
now in genesis 19 verse
1
It says there appeared two angels at saddam
in the evening
And now they've come
to administer the judgment
And lot asked them to come to his home and we find them once again
Because they've materialized eating in verse 3
But the men of the city saw them go in they were unaware that they were angels
And they cry out in verse 5 where are the men which came into you this night bring them out?
They recognized that these were men they had that appearance
But they brought the message that judgment's coming and lot believes it
And so in verse 14
very
Disturbingly he runs to the home of his two daughters
And he says to his sons-in-law
Up get you out of this place for the lord will destroy this city
But he seemed as one that mocked under them
The old man has a screw loose the lord's going to destroy the city
The lord's going to destroy the city
They wouldn't listen
So apparently rexella there were no more
Than three righteous people
Because the sons-in-law didn't go along when lot left the city to flee it
His wife fell back
And he and his two daughters were the only ones
to escape
And then verse
It says 24 and 25 state the lord god reigned upon sodom and upon gamora fire and brimstone from the lord out of heaven
And over through those cities and all the plane and all the inhabitants of that those cities and all that which
Grew on the ground
Who were they angels?
Angels, let me give you one more example
Jesus has already been to the grave
He's already been resurrected
He's been on the earth for 40 days in his new glorified body
And he's now about to make his ascension
Listen to x chapter 1 verses 9 to 11
And when jesus had spoken these things while they beheld
He was taken up
And a cloud received him out of their sight
And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up
Behold two men
angels
stood by them saying
You men of Galilee, why gaze you up into heaven?
This same jesus which is taken up from you in heaven shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go

What does it mean? Angels can appear

Angels appeared as we know and ministered to christ when he was on earth
But even before

They were the ones who announced to mary
That she was going to conceive

In the rapture when he comes for his saints

Why don't they hold back the forces of evil

Our loving god and the bad
Satanic and that warfare
Is going on all the time

Having an angel I thought

And at some time in his life

In one's life that are
Almost too precious to share
Things that God does that are

He did this for me
Jack and I were in Brussels
Visiting his relatives
We were in a little foreign car
Having a wonderful time downtown
Brussels ready to go home and
Celebrate our anniversary
And as we were leaving town on a very
Very busy street there
A bus came alongside
The little foreign car and took the right
Side completely off
We were in a horrible accident
I was thrown
Out of the car into the street
And because of the blow
On my head
I believe that Satan tried to
Take my life that day
As I was
Lying on the street I
Felt like I was dying
And if you will I call it
An out of body experience
Because I actually saw myself
Leaving my body going home
To be with the Lord and I thought
If this is dying
It's such a wonderful experience
I wanted to tell everybody
Don't be afraid to die
Because of the peace
I wanted to go home to be with God
And yet I looked back and there was Jack
Praying over my body
Begging the Lord
Not to take me and to let me live
And just that fast
It was not God's time
To take me just that fast
I was back in my body
And I was trying
To look up at Jack
And as I looked through the blood
On my face in my eyes
I saw Jack praying
Again and then I looked
Down at the foot of my body
There was a man standing
And I believe it was my
Guardian angel that God allowed
To come for two reasons
To protect me
And to comfort us
Because he said to us
She's going to be
Alright
And with that he took a blanket
And put it over my body
And I believe that
God allowed him that day
To thwart Satan's plan
I believe that Satan
Meant that accident for bad
And God meant it
For good
Because through it all he had
Almighty power to say
You're not going to take her life
Not yet
It was an experience
Jack that I shall never forget
Rexella, Satan
Has hated our ministry
Because so many have come to know Jesus
And at that point of time
We had just come out of
A terrible period in our lives
Facing bankruptcy
And we honorably paid all of our bills
And then made a return to television
We were off for four years
And now Satan said
You're not going back on
The God of this world
The Prince of the power of the air
You're not going back on
And tried to stop it by
Taking both of our lives
I went down on the seat
We didn't have belts on
And when the bus smashed the roof down
I had cleared it
Because I had fallen on my side
And I remember
Picking you up in my arms
And saying please God
Please God don't let her die
Please God
We want to serve you on television
We want to tell the world
About you Jesus
You were gone
And I saw this person appear
I believe it was an angel from God
Just like Paul had the angel appear
He appeared and disappeared
No one knew what who
Why?
And you know Jack
I just want to add one more thing
Here we are at downtown Brussels
Where they speak nothing but French
They take great pride in speaking French
And this person
Spoke to us
In perfect English
I believe that God allowed
My guardian angel to appear
To protect me
And as I say to comfort us
That I was going to be alright

You know we can tell hundreds
Of stories that are meaningless
But can it be backed up
With the word of God? That's what's important

We groan within ourselves
Waiting for the adoption
When a believer dies, the tent, the covering, the shell goes into the grave.
But the real person that does the thinking, the spirit, the soul, leave that body.
You can't mistake 2 Corinthians 5.8 when it says,
to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
You've got to be absent from the body to be present with the Lord.
What's absent? The soul and spirit.
Now, when Christ returns in 1 Thessalonians 4.14, He brings the dead with Him.
Did you get it? With Him.
What part? The part that's in the spirit world, Heaven,
to come after that body because it is now the Second Coming, which saves the body.
But you know something? This is interesting.
Heaven is full of spirits.
The Father was and is a spirit, John 4.24.
The Holy Spirit was and is a spirit, John 16.13.
Christ was a spirit for He was in the form of God, Philippians 2.6,
but He became a man, taking a body with blood so they could die for our sins.
That's why the Bible says the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses them from all sin,
1 John 1.7.
Here's another interesting side thought. I like to give people a lot.
There have been three raptures. That's when bodies are taken.
Enoch was not, for God took him.
Genesis 5.24. He went a bodily, a rapture, a snatching away.
1 Corinthians 15.52.
Elijah was caught up by a whirlwind in Heaven, 2 Kings 2.11, a rapture.
He was taken a bodily. And then when Christ, in Acts 1, verses 9 to 11,
went through what you just described, the first Heaven, second Heaven,
swiftly like a blaze of glory and into that portal that went into the third Heaven,
He went with a body.
Now, when that rapture comes, Philippians 3.21 says,
God will change our bodies that they may be fashioned like unto Christ's glorious body,
His new body, His glorified body.
So we exchange one body for the new body.
The old body is prone to death, corruption.
The new body has immortality like Jesus Christ's world.
Never again, die.
And it will be like the angels as we quoted earlier in the program.
Horses and chariots in Heaven, angels in their immortal youth,
unweakened by the ages, drive their beautiful chariots along the atmospheric highways of God.
Does this sound too fantastic?
Are you inclined to react with the statement that such things are irrelevant,
that they should be disregarded as insignificant and unworthy of serious consideration?
This is a statement, a question, by Dr. A.S. Joppie.
Now, being the inquisitive mind that I am, I do care about those chariots in Heaven.
In fact, I've sung a song,
Swing low, sweet chariot, coming for to take me home.
Swing low, sweet chariot.
Well, do angels travel in chariots, Jack, or do they travel other ways also?
First of all, the Bible mentions that the Seraphim,
their angels, in Isaiah 6 verses 1 and 2, have six wings.
And with two, they cover their face.
With two, they cover their feet.
And with two, they fly.
Now, I don't think it takes wings for angels to move as swiftly as the Bible says they move.
So I think this is just a measure whereby we see the majesty of these angels moving around Heaven,
like we see these great eagles floating through space.
It's picturesque.
I believe that angels travel as fast as thought.
For instance, in Daniel chapter 10 verses 12 to 14,
when Gabriel appeared, he said,
Michael is battling the evil angels in the Heavens
who've kept your prayers from being answered for 21 days.
But it's an entirely different picture in Daniel 9.21.
Daniel prays and instantly an angel's there with the answer.
Now, that angel came from the third Heaven of 2 Corinthians 12, too.
You know how far away that is?
Scientists are now talking about new things they found in space that are 50,
100, 200 light years away.
And that is fantastic.
It can go all the way up to 1,000 light years.
And a light year averages 6 trillion miles annually.
So when something's 100 light years away, that's 100 times 6 trillion.
I mean, there's no way to describe that gigantic number.
So many zeros that nobody could even repeat it.
And yet, in that twinkling of an eye,
that angel came from the third Heaven
and was standing at the side of Daniel
with a message from the Heavenly Father.
He had traveled billions, trillions, quadrillions, quintillions, sextillions.
Not even a mile's a bit of light years in a second.
Why? We will travel as fast as thought.
For instance, Rickson and I have been in 50 nations.
You talk about Brussels and Belgium.
I can go to the Grand Plus right now in my mind.
I could see Rome.
I can see the pyramids in Egypt. I've been there.
I can go there right now.
I can go to Brazil, Argentina,
Japan, 50 nations. Why?
It's all there.
And we will move as quickly as we think in that day.
In fact, when the Holy City is hanging over the earth
in Revelation 21.9 to 22.15,
we'll move back and forth with our glorified bodies instantly.
But there's another aspect I want to cover for a moment.
That's chariots.
Do you realize that God's angels travel in chariots?
In 2 Kings 2.11, it says,
there appeared a chariot of fire,
but living creatures were manning this chariot of fire, angels.
And Elijah was caught up by a whirlwind in heaven
in fact, unidentified flying objects travel.
And Elisha is standing there and he cries out,
Oh, my father, oh, my father, the chariots have taken Elijah.
And, Maxilla, I love Psalm 68.17.
The chariots of God are 20,000.
20,000 chariots manned with living creatures.
Ezekiel chapter 1.
The prophet sees a whirlwind coming out of the north.
This is interesting because that's the way UFOs travel.
And we're going to deal with the UFOs in video 2
because I believe they have much to do with the fallen angels
and things that will happen in the very near future.
Oh, it's an exciting study.
But these living creatures were coming out of the north,
and the north is where God's throne is, Isaiah 14.13.
And in Ezekiel 1, after it describes this whirlwind effect,
verses 5 to 9 state that living creatures, angels,
were manning the chariots, creating that whirlwind effect.
And when we get to verse 14,
the angels in these chariots were traveling like a flash of lightning.
And they've clocked these things,
and they can't keep up with anything we've created to date
with all of our technology.
Verse 16 says their color was like beryllium.
When we put things into space,
the only thing that withstands the heat is beryllium,
and the color was like burl or beryllium.
What a book, 2,500 years in advance.
And then verse 24 says,
when they moved, it was like the noise of many waters,
the rushing of waters, the rushing of Niagara Falls.
It's very interesting, but the main point is
that chariots carried angelic beings that took Elijah to heaven.
And since we all have a ministering spirit
who's going to be with us, who shall be,
the air is a salvation, that's when the body goes.
Romans 8.23, wouldn't it be something if they came
and whisked us away into the presence of God?
Look, the angels come and take home the spirits of the deceased
at death, Luke 16.22.
It's not preposterous to think that they'll come for us at the rapture.
And you know there are 200 million plus thousands and thousands
of Revelation 5.11 who could do it,
and probably millions, millions, and millions more.
An innumerable company, Hebrews 12.22.
How revealing.
So you know that little spiritual I used to sing is true.
I couldn't help but have it click in my mind.
The verse, I looked over Jordan.
What did I see coming forth to carry me home?
A band of angels coming after me, coming forth to carry me home.
It's a wonderful thing, isn't it, to know that truly
the Bible speaks so relevantly about angels
and how they relate to our lives.
Well, just prior to the Lord's return to earth,
there'll be a tribulation time.
And Jack, are angels going to be involved in this also?
In the book of Revelation, in chapters 6, 8, 9, 11, and 16,
21 judgments are produced upon the earth by angels.
God chose his angels to do his bidding at this point of time
because the world be inundated with the horrendous sins
of Revelation 9, verses 20 and 21.
Let's consider the sixth judgment in each one of the seven.
This is interesting.
In Revelation 6.12, it said,
I beheld when it opened the sixth seal,
and there was a great earthquake,
and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair,
and the moon became his blood.
Carl Sagan says that could come through a meteorite hitting the earth,
and there'd be total darkness for four months.
Let's move on to the second series of judgments, and number 6.
And the sixth angel is commanded to say,
Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates
to slay a third part of mankind.
And the number of the army was 200,000,000, 200 million.
Probably demonically controlled humans in the armies,
as we said earlier,
as they try to wipe out a third civilization.
You'd have to be controlled by fallen angels to do that.
And then when we move over to the third series,
the sixth one there is Revelation 16.12.
The sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates
so that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared,
the kings of the sun rising as they march across the area of desert storm
to the Middle East for the battle of battles,
not Armageddon, but preceding it,
to eventually end up at Armageddon, Revelation 16.16.
So yes, the angels are involved in all 21 judgments.
One last great question,
and it is involving one of the greatest events that has ever taken place
or ever will take place, and that is when Jesus Christ comes to earth
and sets His foot upon the Mount of Olives,
and He begins His reign on earth for 1,000 years.
Are the angels involved in this great event also, Jack?
They're involved in everything, but especially in this event.
Matthew 25, verse 31,
Christ shall come in His glory and all the holy angels with Him,
and He shall sit upon the throne of His glory.
As one studies the rest of the verses in that chapter,
he finds out that there's a separation going on,
and he separates the sheep from the goats.
The sheep are the saved, the goats are the lost.
Let's take the lost first.
When he does that, these angels that came with him
are the reapers for judgment in Matthew 13, 39.
That's why 2 Thessalonians 1, verses 7 and 8 state
that He shall be revealed from heaven with all His mighty angels,
and what are the angels doing?
Enflaming fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God
and that obey not the Gospel.
You know, I always thought when Christ came it would be presto-wipto,
but Dr. Walverd, that great scholar, prophetical giant,
said that there's so many millions of angels,
along with the redeemed, from all ages have been raptured,
now returning, coming back,
that it will probably be a 24-hour procession,
just wave after wave after wave of angels and saints returning.
I love it.
But the judgment then takes place,
and he says to the lost in that same 25th chapter
where he's returned with his angels, verse 41,
depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire,
prepared for the devil and his angels.
But it's going to be a time of reward for the others,
for let's now consider Matthew 16, 27,
for the Son of Man shall come in the glory of his Father
with the holy angels, and then he shall reward every man,
according to his works.
That's the saved of Matthew 25.
And the reward is, verse 34 in that chapter,
come, inherit the kingdom, prepared for you,
my sheep, from the foundation of the world.
Not only are we going to be with him in that wonderful place,
but 2 Timothy 2, 12 says,
if we suffer here in this earth, we shall reign with him.
Not everyone's going to reign.
We're all going to be there if we're safe,
reigning is part of the reward.
And for those who've earned it, Revelation 20, verse 4 says,
they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years,
we'll all be there, but there's something special
for you who've lived for Christ, who've lived holy lives,
who fought the good fight of faith like Paul did
when he met Jesus, 2 Timothy 4, verses 7 and 8.
You know, I'd like for you to be ready when Jesus comes,
for soon he's going to break through the blue,
and Michael the archangel will call us into his presence,
then seven years later, you and I, who are ready,
will return in that 24-hour procession,
wave after wave after wave.
So how can I get ready?
The Gospel is so simple.
Christ died for our sins.
He was buried and he rose again the third day,
according to the Scriptures.
He came and took a body with blood.
For without shedding of blood is no remission of sins,
Hebrews 9, 22.
Revelation 1, 5 says unto Christ,
who loved us and washed us from our sins,
in his own blood,
if you will come and trust Christ now,
all you've heard today
will become a part of your experience here in this life,
and you'll be ready for the greatest hour in history,
the coming of the Lord.
Look at me and pray this from your heart.
Let's go slowly.
Lord Jesus, I'm a sinner,
for all of us have sinned,
but thank you, Jesus,
for taking that body,
containing precious blood,
to die for me and cleanse me
through your precious, holy blood.
I believe what you did for me.
I believe in you today, Jesus.
I want to be ready for your return,
so I ask you now to be my Savior.
Come into my heart.
Save me this very moment.
In your name I pray this.
