Mr Wolf puts on his raincoat and rubber boots, takes his umbrella and strides out in the rain. Tuesday is foggy. Mr Wolf puts on his checked coat, yellow scarf and red cap and gets lost. Wednesday is cold. Mr Wolf puts on a warm sweater, a scarf, mittens and goes ice skating. Whee. Baa. Hehehehehe. Wednesday is snowy. Mr Wolf puts on his overcoat, gloves, a woolen hat and boots and stomps out in the snow. Hehehehehe. Friday is windy. Mr Wolf puts on his red jacket and yellow trousers and flies his kite. Saturday is sunny. Mr Wolf puts on his jogging suit and goes for a run. Sunday is very, very hot. Mr Wolf puts on his shorts and sunglasses and heads for the beach. Baa. And then it's Monday again. Then Tuesday. Then Wednesday. Then Thursday. Then Friday. Then Saturday. Then Sunday. Another week is over. Now for animal playtime. Let's watch the animals play. Look at the kittens. They are having fun. They are playing with a piece of string. Look at the kitten playing with a toy mouse. See how the kitten jumps and plays. Look at the two friends playing. One is a squirrel. The other is a kitten. Two friends rolling over on the floor. The baby elephant is playing with a box. He walks up and down. Up and down. He waves his trunk. And that's a wonderful time. Look at these baby animals. They are jackals. Let's watch them play together. They fight over a feather. They climb on his head. They tackle him. But they don't get the feather. These animals are called lemas. Look how they run and jump. They like to ride on their mother's back. What shall I play? Shall I jump? Shall I jump and jump and jump? He loves to leap and have fun. And the rabbit told the rhino. And the rhino told the lizard. And the lizard told the panda. Hey, today is Jumbo's birthday. Please go tell it to the toucan. So then he'll tell everybody all about the birthday party. And we'll have a jamboree. So the panda looked around him. But he couldn't find the toucan. So instead he told the ostrich. And the ostrich told the tortoise. And the tortoise told the cricket. And the cricket told the leopard. And the leopard told the monkey. Hey, today is Jumbo's birthday. Please go tell it to the toucan. So then he'll tell everybody all about the birthday party. And we'll have a jamboree. So the monkey looked around him. And upon the highest tree top at long last, he found the toucan. So the monkey told the toucan. What old Jumbo told the tiger. What the tiger told the warthog. What the warthog told the hippo. What the hippo told the lion. What the lion told the bullfrog. What the bullfrog told the zebra. What the zebra told the rabbit. What the rabbit told the rhino. What the rhino told the lizard. What the tortoise told the cricket. What the cricket told the leopard. What the leopard had just told him. Today is Jumbo's birthday. So please go tell everybody all about the birthday party. And we'll have a jamboree. So the toucan looked around him. And he looked behind the bushes. And he looked among the flowers. And he looked down by the river. And the toucan looked all over. But he still could find nobody. So he went to tell old Jumbo there could be no jamboree. But when the toucan found him. Hey, hello there, cried old Jumbo. It's dinner time for the animals. Look at the hairy caterpillar nibble the plant. Watch him gobble up the leafy tips. Caterpillars eat lots and lots. They are always hungry. And like looking for food. This animal has a tall neck. He is the tallest animal in the world. He is a giraffe. He eats the leaves and fruit from the top of the trees. The squirrels find food in the trees. They climb up high. They eat in pine cones. They nibble and chew. The gorilla eats lots of leaves for dinner. They are very tasty. He eats roots and branches. He eats the bark and the green moss. He loves his food. He sits all day in the jungle and eats and eats. What do the rabbits eat for dinner? They eat tasty flowers. And eat the green grass. The lemur eats fruit in the tree. It eats a juicy yellow fruit. They like eating roots. And hold the food in their hands. All the family eat their dinner. Baby is sleeping. But not for long. Time to sleep. Goodnight baby. Now we visit some animals at bath time. Rabbits keep clean by licking themselves. He washes his eye, his ears, and he washes his whiskers. The hippo takes his bath in the river. He gets out of the river and walks about. The bed sits down in the mud again. Big hippos, little hippos lying in the sun. They all love bath time. Elephants like to splash in the water. Babies love to play. And keep cool in the water. Elephants use their long trunks to wash themselves. And when they are clean, they go home. Who takes a bath in the deep sea? These little fish help bigger fish keep clean. They nibble off the dirt. They clean their fins and their tails. And even in their mouths. What busy little fish they are. Because there are lots of fish in the sea. Let's take a journey through the day. So he went to sleep in the kitchen. Drip, drip went the leaky kitchen tap. Num num num num num num num num num num num num num num num. Went the refrigerator. Oh no said Mr. Bear. I can't stand this so he got up and went to sleep in the garden. Well, you would not believe what noises there are in the garden at night. Toot-toot-toot-woo-woo went the owl. Sniffy-sniffy-sniffy went the hedgehog. Meow! Sang the cats on the wall. Oh no! Said Mr. Bear. I can't stand this! So he went off to sleep in the car. It was cold in the car and uncomfortable. But Mr. Bear was so tired that he didn't notice. He was just falling asleep when all the birds started to sing and the sun peeped in at the window. Tweet-tweet went the birds. Shine-shine went the sun. Oh no! Said Mr. Bear. I can't stand this! So he got up and went back into the house. In the house, baby Bear was fast asleep and Mrs. Bear had turned over and wasn't snoring anymore. Mr. Bear got into bed and closed his eyes. Ah! Peace at last, he said to himself. Brrrr went the alarm clock. Mrs. Bear sat up and rubbed her eyes. Good morning dear, she said. Did you sleep well? Not. Very well, dear, yawned Mr. Bear. Never mind, said Mrs. Bear.
