Hi, I'm Laura Redman. I bet you're as excited as I am about working out on your new Weslow Cardio Glide Plus. Your body is going to love the results and your brain is going to have a blast as you exercise like never before. The Cardio Glide Plus has so much to offer and over the course of this video, I'm going to show you how to get started on a fun and healthy exercise program. Before we get started, we will walk you through the steps required to properly assemble the Cardio Glide Plus, then I'll personally show you how to get the most from this unique total body workout. Before you start the assembly, you need to clear an area. Remove your Cardio Glide Plus from the box and lay out all of the parts. Do not throw away any of the packing materials until the assembly is completed. Check that you have all the required parts. If you are missing any, feel free to contact customer service at 1-800-999-3756. You just need three tools to assemble your Cardio Glide Plus, your own Phillips screwdriver and rubber mallet, and the pedal tool, which is included with your Cardio Glide Plus. Now that you are organized, begin by raising the handlebar frame to its full upright position. Hold the handle with one hand and with your other hand, hook the link arms onto the lower rollers on the handlebar frame. Take the round end caps and push an end cap onto each side of the stabilizer at the front of the frame and one on each side of the stabilizer at the rear of the frame. The next step is to attach the seat. Turn the seat knob counterclockwise to loosen it. Pull down on the seat knob and slide the seat onto the seat frame. Slide the seat to the correct position, release the seat knob and tighten the knob by turning it clockwise. Push on the seat to make sure the knob is properly engaged and secure. The third step is to attach the handlebar. Press the two domed end caps onto the upper end of the handlebar frame. Insert the handlebar into the handlebar frame. Be sure the sides of the handlebar bend toward the seat, not away from it. With your screwdriver, tighten the four screws into the handlebar frame and the handlebar. Now it's time to attach the electronic monitor. Begin by connecting the sensor wire from the Cardioglide Plus to the wire on the monitor. Insert the excess wire into the monitor. Hold the monitor with both hands and carefully snap it onto the frame. Be sure the side of the monitor is between the frame and the dome cap. Using your rubber mallet, tap the dome cap against the side of the monitor and slide the foam pad toward the back edge of the monitor. The final step is to attach the pedals. Beginning with the left pedal, apply a small amount of grease to the pedal shaft, making sure the plastic tube on the pedal is facing in or toward the machine. Slide the pedal onto the shaft. Once the pedal is on, use the pedal tool to attach the half-inch push nut. With the teeth facing out, place the push nut against the pedal. Use the pedal tool and your rubber mallet to tap the push nut onto the shaft. Now repeat these steps to attach the left pedal. Congratulations, your Cardioglide Plus is fully assembled and ready to use. Now that your Cardioglide Plus is assembled and ready to go, we can get you started and on your way to a better body and a healthier lifestyle. The Cardioglide Plus can make you look and feel better. It can improve your cardiovascular conditioning, reduce stress in your life, tone and strengthen all of your major muscles, increase your flexibility, and best of all, it's a non-impact workout that's lots of fun. The Cardioglide Plus has a lot of added workout features that you won't find on any other total body exercisers, but don't worry, the Cardioglide Plus is so easy to use. Let me show you how. You can position the adjustable seat on the Cardioglide Plus exactly where you need it to be. It easily accommodates just about anybody who wants to jump on for a workout. Come on, I'll show you. To adjust the seat, begin by loosening the knob right underneath the seat. Slide the seat to the position you want and retighten the knob. Be sure to push on the seat once or twice just to make sure that it's locked in and secure. Now you're ready to go. Another great thing about the Cardioglide Plus is its adjustable quick-dial resistance. With the adjustable quick-dial resistance, you can adjust the intensity of your workout to target your fitness needs. You are in complete control of just how much resistance you want in either the push or the pull workout modes. Just adjust the color on the resistance cylinder so the arrow points to the level you want. Let's say you want a lower intensity fat burning workout, choose settings 1, 2, or 3. For a more aerobic workout, choose settings 4, 5, or 6. And for a challenging strength training workout, set your resistance at 7, 8, or 9. The Cardioglide Plus gives you total control over your workout. You can vary your workout intensity and the muscles you want to concentrate on. And you can keep track of how your workout is progressing by using this electronic monitor. The electronic monitor tracks your workout progress and lets you know how you're doing. It gives you your speed, which is your average number of repetitions per minute. It tracks your workout time so you can see how long you've been working out. And it tells you the average number of calories you are burning, that's my favorite, as well as your distance or the total number of reps you've done in one workout. This valuable information not only keeps you on target, but it's also a great motivator. You can set your own individual goals, progressing a little bit every day, or going a few minutes longer, or reaching a higher resistance level at a faster pace. Whatever you want, the Cardioglide Plus makes it possible for you to set and keep track of these important goals. The Cardioglide Plus provides a simple, natural motion that exercises all of your major muscle groups, your arms, your legs, your abdominals, your back. You can feel it working everywhere. And it's so easy, you just pull your way through your workout. But let's say you want to work your upper body a little more, or just vary your workout. With the Cardioglide Plus, there's more to this workout than just pulling. We let you also push. You can switch from a pulling position to a pushing position at any time. It's as easy as switching over this quick change handlebar, just like this. Let me show you how. You hold the handlebar with one hand, and you grab onto this red handle with the other. Lift the handle to disconnect the link arms from the lower rollers on the frame. Pivot the handlebar toward the seat, and hook the link arms onto the upper rollers. It's as easy as one, two, three. Make sure they're connected securely. Now you're ready for a push workout. The push workout is just as simple as the pull workout, but you're using a lot more of your upper body muscles. You're now toning your triceps and chest, in addition to your shoulders, abs, and legs. If you're a woman who wants an easy way to really improve your upper arms, or a man who wants to build up your chest, the push mode is an excellent way to get the results you want. You can do a push workout for a little while, and then easily switch back to a pull workout. You'll be toning more muscle groups, and getting an even greater complete total body workout. And you can put some variety into your workouts. Let's say you want to isolate your lower body. You can let go of your handlebar during the push workout, and just use your legs. This is a great way to tone your thighs and buttocks. So the Cardio Glide Plus gives you two great workouts in one complete machine. A pulling workout, which exercises your major muscle groups, and a pushing workout that targets even more upper body muscles, like your chest and triceps. The key to improving and maintaining your fitness level is consistency. And because the Cardio Glide Plus is so easy to get started on, and is so much fun to use, a daily workout is no longer impossible. It only takes a few minutes each day to tone all your muscles, burn calories, strengthen your cardiovascular system, and increase your strength and flexibility. And with the Cardio Glide Plus, you get more from your workout, because you have a push as well as a pull workout, targeting more muscles for better overall conditioning. If your goal is to tone and firm your muscles only, you can adjust the resistance control to a lower setting, or if you want to build muscle, you can use a higher resistance setting. The Weslow Cardio Glide Plus has been designed and engineered to make fitness simple, fun, effective, and affordable. Just like the entire family of Weslow quality fitness products, I'm positive you'll enjoy your new Cardio Glide Plus and your new healthy and fit lifestyle. Do you know that by improving your diet and health with a regular exercise program, you can actually reduce the chance of heart and lung disease, stroke, diabetes, and certain forms of cancer?
