You'll see people who have used Mr. Murphy shampoo and conditioner as we learn if these products really work. Join me on conversation with Fred Lewis as we explore the possibility of ending baldness here on this station. At 1230 Eastern 930 Pacific tomorrow night. Hello everyone I'm Dale Hanson your host for tennis magazine reports. This week we preview the summer final Davis Cup tie between Australia and the US with Paul McNamee and John Fitzgerald veteran Davis Cup players from Australia. We'll also talk with the two top women players about their rivalry and take a close look at a special event you don't see that much. Mixed doubles at the Belgian American mixed doubles classic. All that and more when tennis magazine reports. At 8 p.m. Eastern Friday. Ladies and gentlemen at this time allow me to introduce to you the manager Mr. Fuji. This bout is scheduled for one fall with a 20-minute time limit. Introducing first to my left from Sunset Beach Hawaii weighing 247 pounds the magnificent Morocco. His opponent from Auckland New Zealand weighing 242 pounds Tony Gariya. Tony Gariya getting a big big reception here capacity crowd on hand and I can't believe the penguin Mr. Fuji with his tux looks like odd job. I'll tell you Gerudo Monsoon he is very resplendent this week. Mr. Fuji that is atypical for him not one to rest in the conventional wear. I think Jean when Morocco left the World Wrestling Federation he didn't go anywhere to just wrestle he just went back to Hawaii and rested because he looks in great shape. But I've got to believe that Mr. Fuji is going to have a profound profound influence on the man you see with his back turned to us. A magnificent Morocco. I have never seen this man look any better and I've seen him in the ring for well over a decade. Don Morocco 247 pounds and apparently something has irritated or upset the magnificent one. Sound the bell and we are off and running Gerudo Monsoon. Well the cry went out Beach bum and we know he doesn't like that. He took accepted the comment quite obviously. Now Morocco exchanging dialogue with the referee perhaps on that very same subject. Well Jean I can honestly say that when Morocco was the Intercontinental Champion he ducked no one he hid from no one. Oh all of a sudden Tony Guerrilla turns his back and there's an explosion of whites from the magnificent Morocco. Morocco attacking with a vengeance. Tony Guerrilla caught off guard and is in trouble right at the moment folks. Well right out of the chute Guerrilla in big trouble. Look at Morocco calling the man. Picking him up by the hair. Oh double ease. Head of the facial area and that's got to take its toll. Well if that hits you in the nose or the eye Jean it really really stings especially that blow to the lower base of the nose really hurts. Maria nice duck under off the ropes high cross body. He might get him here. Referee knocked out. Referees won't get in there Jean. Boss but no cigar. And as I've said before it only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. Look at the smile on the massage of the magnificent Morocco. True ranked veteran. Just about bought the farm there however it should be pointed out. Lady luck with that man in that particular instance. Maria got way up high some seven eight feet high on that beautiful high cross body and but Morocco completely off guard. Let's add a beach bum beach bum coming from the fans here at Bringside. Capacity crowd on hand for this world wrestling Federation 1 4 5. Morocco bails out again. I gave the big bow to Mr. Fuji. Fuji likewise returning the bow. As I said after little monsoon I firmly believe that we're gonna see a change in Morocco with the influence of Mr. Fuji. I believe that's true Jean under his tutelage. There's no telling what Morocco will come out with. Well all of a sudden Tony Gurria becomes somewhat confident and aggressive as he beckons Don Morocco into the lockup. Oh Gurria. Stand in wrist lock. Beautifully done but look at the power of Morocco as it prevails in that particular instance. And again AWOL. Look at that sinister smile on the face of Mr. Fuji. Got to be like wrestling two guys out there Jean with Fuji. Well he's got to be a distraction for Gurria. Can't take your eyes off him for a minute. Stand in wrist lock again by Tony Gurria. Oh there's hair. And that was just blatant if you will. Look at the look on Morocco's face. Look of confidence. Man does he look good. Always someone to reckon be reckoned with here in a world wrestling Federation is the best. This is the mechagene. This is where they all come from. And Tony Gurria fights fire with fire. Morocco went for the hair. And Gurria countered with same. Not to the liking of this man. The magnificent Morocco. Warning there from the referee and justifiably so. Match getting out of hand. Referees seem to be in the wrong place at the right time and vice versa. All right. And another one by Morocco. Gurria countering with a couple of his own. Oh those were charring blows. Oh ram that head right into that top turnbuckle. On to the midsection. Gurria nice forearm. Well executed and Morocco is sort of wobbly here. Going for the ride. Wow he hit the corner. Oh no one there. Nobody home as Gurria attacks again. Slip right behind him. Drop kick now. That's a big guy into the ropes. Oh what a threat. Mercy. Gurria off the ropes. No. What a beautiful maneuver. He's gonna get him. One, two, three. Just when Gurria was on a roll. Morocco counterizing and coming up with victory. Beautiful power slam as he caught him coming off the ropes there. Not to the liking of the multitudes on hand this week. Let's get the official time. Now let's take a look if we will. Gurria Monsoon in action. Here it is. The monkey flip up and over. Goes down to Morocco. Morocco obviously hurting. And there. Look at that. Beautifully done on the part of Don Morocco. Getting the pin. One, two, three. Over 20 degree Gurria. Capitalizing on quite an opportunity indeed. Half suplex. Half power slam. Fantastic maneuver on the part of the magnificent one Don Morocco as he is victorious once again in the World Wrestling Federation. So stay with us wrestling fans. We'll be right back with more action in just a moment. Our next team is Jose Luis Rivera. He's gonna have a real tough battle on his hands as he's coming back to the World Wrestling Federation. George the Animal Steal. Perhaps one of the most unorthodox men I have ever seen in the ring. We'll talk about George the Animal Steal. Jose Luis Rivera certainly has his work cut out for him. And what a big piece to chew off. And these fans are ready. All right. Jose Luis Rivera, native of Puerto Rico. Looks to be in very good physical condition. Always is, Gene. I think he has a promising future. Mr. Fuji trying to get someone out of the dressing room door, obviously. There he is. You do tonight. You do. You understand? You understand? You know exactly what I want to see. I don't know. Mr. Fuji coming up surprisingly. Look at that. Watch out. He's going into the ringside area. Right over the barricade. It's not predictable. I would not want to cross this band. And this capacity crowd, it's on their feet as they don't know what to make of George the Animal Steal. He seems somewhat bewildered by it all, would you not agree? Absolutely. He doesn't know whether it's Wednesday, Friday, or Thursday, or Saturday. When the bell rings, you better know what day it is. I'll have you to be assured of. George the Animal Steal. Fuji has related to me that he says he can control this individual. I tend to doubt that very much. Ladies and gentlemen, at this time, allow me to introduce the manager, Mr. Fuji. This bout is scheduled for one fall with a 20-minute time limit. Introducing from Puerto Rico, weighing 231 pounds, Jose Luis Rivera. And his opponent, from Detroit, Michigan, weighing 288 pounds, the one, the only, the animal, George Steal. And that's like a package of nitroglycerin right there. Ready to explode at any moment, and ringing out Sir Howard Franco didn't waste any time in beating it out of that ring. Oh my word, look at that green tongue. That's hip about it. But it has a tendency to become nauseous when I see it. Apparently, the referee... Oh, he's got something. Some kind of a foreign object in his mouth now. That is not unusual. I have seen that before from the animal. And he manages to continually get away with it. That's the thing that surprises me. A master at hiding it. The referee should be all over him before the bout even starts. Checking this guy out. Make sure he's got no foreign objects of any shape or form on his body anywhere. Check those shoes. You can slip things down in there. Well, we just saw the exchange from Fuji with the animal. That foreign object may come into play. There's no doubt about that during the course of this match. Now sounds like the way we go. And look at Steele, oh my word. Tremendously volatile about orthodox. It's scary in a way. The most unpredictable man in professional wrestling today, George the Animal Steele. Anything and everything could and will happen. All right, a right to the side of the head by Rivera. And Steele just kind of stands and I believe that, yes, I can see it from our vantage point. Foreign object in his hand, but now all of a sudden it's not there. It's got to be somewhere on his person. All the referees got to do is go out and sit in ringside and he'll see it. Look at that right in the open hand. Right to the throat as Rivera goes down. That body of Rivera's convulsing. Oh, look at he's carrying open that top turnbuckle. Oh, come on. And all we get from Mr. Fuji at ringside is encouragement. Apparently there's a lot of communication between Fuji and the animal. Dangerous situation out there. Look at the hair on that upper body, gorilla. He's got hair everywhere but on his head, Jane. Dangerous situation exists now as that turnbuckle is completely exposed. Look out, Rivera comes right in. You've got to be kidding. Nothing there but a steel turnbuckle and a steel ring. There's that green lizard-like tongue sticking out of there. Oh, you talk about hair. He'd love to have that on the top of his head. George, the animal steal, just a vicious individual. Look, he's going to ram him into that exposed turnbuckle one more time. Well, we can hear. Look, let's see if we can pick up Mr. Fuji. Mr. Fuji, screaming animal. All right, there's the instruction. He's had enough punishment. Look out, flying hammerlock coming up. I don't think Rivera can take it. Could any man take it? No, it's extremely painful, that flying hammerlock. Excruciating pain and steel refusing to let go. Finally. Look at that. It's got to make you wonder. It's got to make you wonder, Rivera is hurt and hurt badly. Steel not throw with him yet. Oh, he jammed him with that poor object right in the throat one more time. And not to the liking of the multitudes on hand this week for this World Wrestling Federation event. Your winner of this bout, the animal George Steal. And he's still not done with Jose Luis. Once again, that foreign object comes into play. Unbelievable. George the animal now just referee pointing towards the dressing room and he's going bananas. Just like a baby, he kind of has to sit. Indeed. George the animal steel victorious this week right here in the World Wrestling Federation. Back at ringside and holy mackerel World Wrestling Federation tag team title up for grabs. Gene Oberlin as Adonis and Murdoch, the newly crowned champions, try to hang on to it, trying to take it back. The former champions, the Wilesomons. And this is somewhat different. Two out of three balls, by the way, Gorilla Monsoon. Very unusual for a title match. All right. Kesselu Elvato making his presence known. Look at that package. Captain Lou, the fountain of misinformation. But some 12 or 13 makers of champion. Go ahead, go ahead. Ladies and gentlemen, here is the manager, Captain Louis Elvato. Well, I don't know if I'd be that enthralled with that reception. He came in the ring, Gene, but where are his constituents? Let me hear that one more time. Now go ahead one more. Oh, my word. Captain Lou obviously not spending too much time in the gymnasium. He's not the biggest clothes horse I've ever run into either. What a package he is. Captain Lou now being ushered back towards the dressing room. Obviously, I'm sure that the Samoans were probably waiting to come out with Lou, but Lou is so unpredictable. The Samoans were probably left standing there. They are now. Oh, my word. Well, maybe they didn't want to come out while Lou was out there, Gene. A little bad blood there. They blame Elvato for losing the straps originally. Both of these men, Gene. There's the beef. There's the beef. There it is. Very colorful attire. I wonder who does their hair, Gene. Awaiting the appearance of the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions, Adrian Adonis and Dick Murdoch. Feel the electricity of this great, great facility. Building. You can feel it in the air. Look at that capacity crowd again. On hand. Samoans would not, I understand, Gene. Here they come now, supporting their belts. Adrian Adonis chewing away at that bubble gum, Gene. Look at that. Originally from the Big Apple. Of course. This contest is for the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championship. It is scheduled for the best two out of three falls with a one-hour time limit. Introducing first, the challengers from the Isle of Samoa, at a total combined weight of 599 pounds, Afa Sika the Wild Samoan. Oh, listen to this crowd. Our opponents are the current World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions. From New York City, weighing 254 pounds, Adrian Adonis. From Waxahachie, Texas, weighing 271 pounds, Dick Moodock. All right, very unusual two out of three falls. The Wild Samoans, combined weight of 598 pounds, to test the skills of the World Wrestling Federation Champion, Moodock and Adonis. And all of a sudden, we have got Adonis brought. Oh, look at Adonis. Working on a cheek-up flip. I'm confused. Moodock outside of the ring. Adonis caught in the corner. Double slingshot. We got action. And he bails out. This capacity crowd goes bananas. Samoans not wasting any time. Indeed. Now, Adonis and Moodock had better get their game plan together, and the referee had better take charge. Listen. There's two guys outside on the arena floor, and the referee is counting the Samoans for having two men in the ring. I can't believe it, Gene. That's very, very... A very, very unusual world tag team counter defense for Moodock and Adonis, in that it's the best two out of three falls. Well, it's highly unusual to have a tag team title match calling for two out of three falls. They're usually a one-fall, one-hour time limit, but in the World Wrestling Federation, anything and everything will and does happen eventually, Gene. Now to the credit of officials and promoters. It's going to be Moodock. Kicking it off. Look at that. A lot of talent there. A lot of ball-cut halts. Moodock, an elbow to the top of the head, and apparently the thought pays off on it. I think he hurt his elbow. I believe he did. Look at that somewhat bewildered look on the face of Dick Moodock. 271 pounds, walks the Hatchie Texas, another elbow. It's going to be frustrating. Here comes Adonis. Oh, did he get nailed? Did a 360 spun right around or went down? Good shot of the crowd. On the outside, an action inside. Afan, Sika, the wild Samoans, the former tag team champions. That should be pointed out. Absolutely, and they could take the title back right here tonight without any question in my mind. As Moodock and Adonis are bewildered, confused, whatever game plan they had coming into this title defense has to be gone to pieces. Side headlock now by Adrian. Grab a hold and try to wear these big guys down. That's the key. New York City, born and raised, Adrian and Adonis. Adrian in for the right. Nice shoulder block. Down goes Afan. Whoa, hold on. He tried to wrestle, but he got caught again. Another quick tag made by Adonis. Murdock a little reluctant to step in there. There he goes. A little apprehension on the part of Murdock, and I believe in light of what's happened thus far, I can understand. I can empathize. Absolutely. Their game plan has just gone down the tubes, Jane. Locked up. A twist on the wrist and an exchange. The tag made from Afan and Sika. 315 or 20 pounds plus. Whoa, hard right hand. Once again, the elbow has absolutely no effect on big Sika. Look at the expression on Adrian Adonis. And Murdock is down as a result of a headbutt from Sika. I think justifiably so, Murdock and Adonis have reason to be concerned. And their title defense here this week. The title could just go right out the window here this week. And boy, the fans, I would assume, would love to see that from the kind of reaction we got here when the Simons were first introduced. Very favorable indeed. Now Murdock starting to mount somewhat of an offensive. I say somewhat because I'm not certain if those blows really are doing a great deal to big Sika. Bang, Murdock, Adonis. Double elbow. And that just barely rocks Sika. Down an elbow. And a left to the midsection. Step over on a wrist. But Sika counters with a good shot I believe to the jaw. Right to the side of the jaw. Now a big elbow right to the forehead. Side headlock and another putt that rocks Adonis into the ropes. Now the Simons double team effort. Double shot as Adonis on a receiving end. Adonis took quite a shot. A little double trouble and he counters with a right to the midsection. Beautiful uppercut. What an uppercut. And you know, Adonis did not have great leverage there, Gabriel Monsoon. He had that upward momentum going and caught the guy off guard, Gene. Adonis in control now makes a tag to Murdock. And look at that double team. He's capitalizing every time on those tags. Wide open. Referees should be all over their case. Oh! There's the old Texas stomp, if you will. Murdock from Waxahatchee, Texas, the home of golfing great Byron Nelson and baseball manager Paul Richards. I don't know if you knew that or not, but a little trivia for you. We love it. Now finally. Down for the cover. He won't get him. Take more than that to keep these big guys down. Front face. Murdock tagging Adonis. Brutally so. They got to stay fresh. Look at that. Oh. Adonis missing with an elbow. And a Samoan on a roll, a chop. Look at this exchange. Back and forth. Headbutt. Down like a ton of bricks. Like a sack of potatoes. Look out. Double slam slam. Double karate slam. As down goes Adrian. And he's in a lot of trouble. Boy, Adonis is taking tremendous punishment during the course of this kind of defense for Murdock and himself. Right now. While Samoan Sika with a leg takedown. Oh, that's got it. That'll tear on the partner hurry. Boy, tear those ligaments right out of the side of that knee and push out of wrestling forever. And full ahead. Takes Adrian right over. Still gets the job done. Barefooted as the Samoans always have gone. Sika's definitely hurt that knee. He's going to drop on it again, Gene. Oh, no. Tag made. No. Come on, referees. That elbow square to the... The inner knee. The inner left knee. Of Sika. Cartilage and ligaments in that area can only take so much punishment. They're going to go to work on that. Look at this. No. And Murdock goes back. Doesn't bend that way. It wasn't meant to be. We can see a possible submission here. Listen to this crowd. And the chant of encouragement for the wild... Trouble walking out of it. He's not going to quit. Tag has been made. Murdock to it. And again, they continue to work on Sika. Oh. Coming off that second row with a flying elbow. And again, to the inner knee. On the left side, the wild Samoan Sika. That knee has taken some punishment. I would be spinning toe hold now. Surprised that Sika can walk away from the ring on this occasion after the punishment he has taken. Desperation move gets him off, but another quick tag is made. Can't believe that Afa's not making a move to come in there, give some assistance to his brother. Well, you've got to remember, though, that Murdock, after the tag, quick to approach the cutoff point. And now we do see Afa come in. And Murdock is down. And an illegal entry there by Adonis, as no tag was made on their part. Breathree doesn't know. He's lost control of this match a long time ago. And again, continuing the work. On the inner left knee, a wild Samoan Sika. Counting as best he can. He might make it with the tag. You know he's got that toe hook. Here we go. Here it is. No. No. Oh. Come on, ref. I don't want to scrutinize or criticize the officiating. He just wasn't there, did he? No. Totally out of position. I don't know how much more punishment Sika can take on that left knee. Man is only human. Two counts shoulder roll as Nick Murdock is now perspiring profusely. A lot of hard work. A lot of pain and punishment that these tremendous athletes go through during the course of the match. Trying to separate the toes in there. And a kickoff by Sika. That may have been just the break he needed. He's going to make it. Finally. Oh, listen to this crowd. Come to life. Alpha. A reverse knife edge. A couple of chops. Oh, he came in and got rammed right into his partner. Collision. Headbutt. And again. Alpha taking over. Taking matters into his own hands. Oh, right through it into the steel post. Oh, what a jarring blow that had to be. Swing shot coming up. Listen to this crowd on their feet. Oh, Fidelis. And Murdock rocked as a result of that collision. Take off on chops away at the 271 pound Texan. Murdock into the turnbuckles up. Oh, what a back drop. What was the hang time on that one? Back from some 8 or 10 feet high, maybe 12. Drops that head right on him. Headbutt to the back of the neck. His favorite maneuver. Murdock in serious trouble. Second turn on that and another headbutt on our part. Of Alpha. Oh, what a matchup. Here comes Adonis back in. Double teaming at every, every opportunity. Double swing shot in. Oh, double elbow right to the throat. Oh, they cropped it out. What's the referee doing? There's the splash of the pin. He's going to get him paid. First ball going to Adonis and Murdock. Stay with us. We'll be right back with the rest of this match in just a moment. 27 pounds, Dr. D. David shoots. His opponent soon to be making his way to the ring. From Grenoble in the French Alps, weighing 492 pounds, the eighth wonder of the world, Andre Pachon. Here's the big guy to a standing ovation as Andre makes his way into this capacity crowded arena. For a big matchup against Dr. D, James. Outstanding, outstanding one ball bow put together by promoters here in the World Wrestling Federation. Look at that man. That's awesome. Shultz has got to be intimidated just by the size. Andre must tip it close to that 500 or over now, James. About an ounce at 492 pounds, and he's got to be all of that. Where did they weigh him? Did they take him down to the stockyards and hang on to meat scales? I know it was tough for me in my day to go and get weighed somewhere. He had a mere 400. Oh, look at this. Shultz bails out immediately. Excellent. Through the ropes, and Dr. D. David Shultz, very apprehensive, and I can certainly understand why. Pointed the accuser's finger at the big guy. Andre the Giant, eighth wonder of the world. Perhaps the most incredible athlete of all time. Absolutely. He's a bible. Shultz, really, really, I've never seen him. Look at Andre smiling. He loves his work. A reference there. Some of the fans at ringside. As to just what kind of an individual David Shultz. He charged the big guy. Did he ever? What has he gotten himself into? Well, he went for a bear hug. I don't think you can get around him, James. He never got around him. Look out. Oh! 7'4", 492. What a move. Headbutt. Andre back in his feet. Dr. D. David Shultz. A minute at size 21, right in his kisser. Dr. D. holding onto the right tree limb of the big guy, Andre, who shrugs him off. Look at that. All boots to the upper torso of Dr. D. And it gets from point A to point B, and I just looked at the straight line. Look at the short cut at the expense of Dr. D., who is hurting. Oh, is he ever? Quite obvious. Look at that. The massage of Andre the Giant. And he is, you kind of get the impression that he's toyed with Shultz. And he best not do that because you never want to underestimate the likes of an Oscar David Shultz. This man at 267, about half the size of Andre the Giant. Shultz could be a very dangerous man, there's no question about it. Well, he could unleash some tremendous, tremendous blows. I've seen him do it. He's got great wrestling ability and power and knowledge. And he could hurt someone. One-handed staff bear takedown by Andre the Giant. Look at that. Oh, and a knee to the back to the upper back. Oh, he's straightening out the vertebrae now for Dr. D. A chiropractic move. There's the surfboard or double arm bar executed by Andre the Giant. Shultz to the ropes. Referee going to call for the break. He's got to break it. Well, he did. He did exactly what the referee told him to do. Fans love it. However, Dr. David Shultz not necessarily in agreement with that particular break. No, that's not free-for-all, Gene. It's five feet or better. He can drop straight backwards. I don't know if I'm in agreement with the game plan of Dr. David Shultz thus far. Why would he charge a man the size of Andre the Giant? Four arms. Well, I'm sure, Gene, that Dr. D. knows that the only way to get the big guy in trouble is to get him off his feet down on that ring canvas. But I don't think that's the way to do it, Gorilla Monster. Absolutely not. You've got to get low on that man to topple him. You're not going to do it from the midsection. That's for certain. Absolutely not. Andre had his fist up to Dr. D's face and it covered the entire front of Dr. D's face. Referee calling for the break here. Well, we're just waiting. Shultz very reluctant. Reaching into the tights of the big guy. Indeed he is. And now Shultz asks for that. Uh-oh, downstairs on Andre. Both men into the ropes. Andre with the right leg and Dr. David Shultz. Shultz trying to make the eyes. Referee again calling for the break. Well, you know, we're kind of in a position of suspense here. Something's going to explode any minute here. Oh, talk about being thrust. What would you call that move? I'm very curious. That's a reverse kinder binder in the corner. He's for Clutter. He's for Clutter. Cluster. Whatever. Oh, he wants a boxing match. No, that's another mistake. I don't think that Dr. D had a game plan when he came out here, James. I don't believe so. And if he's going to get into a fist fight with Andre the Giant, you recall in 1976 that confrontation with Andre and boxer Chuck Wefner. You recall what happened to Wefner. I was in the corner of Andre that night. Oh, beautiful, beautiful. He's down and a part of Andre the Giant. Incredible with the man, seven foot four, and only 500 pounds to move like he does. Blocking Shultz with a headbutt and hanging on. He doesn't want him to go down. He doesn't at all. Referee reminding Andre to let go of the hair. The Giant looking for a back body drop out of Shultz after he whips him into the turnbuckle. Coming back with a toe. Andre counters over the top and rocks Shultz to the canvas. Andre's hot now. He's all done playing. Whip into. Oh, the big move right into Kisser. Timber. Good throw. Goodbye. That's going to be all to face. Still undefeated. And listen to this crowd. Andre the Giant, big victory over Dr. D. David Shultz. Let's take a look at what we saw only moments ago. All right, here is a whip into the ropes. Now look at Shultz come off. He is greeted by a size 21 in the march. Wow. Absolutely no chance. And now the follow up. That's 500 pounds. He could have counted to 25. Let's go back to ringside and get to your official work. The winner of this bout, Andre the Giant. A popular victory for the big band. Andre the Giant once again undefeated.
