Everyone wants to look cool in school, and we're no exception.
Uh, Pete, honey, could you do something about that tail?
Well, we do things a little differently around here.
Every day, thanks to the magic of Hollywood,
some of our students get a whole new look that'll really turn heads.
This is Mark Villalobos, our special effects makeup supervisor.
He's in charge of transforming over 40 actors
into the fantastic creatures and characters you see on the screen.
Today, Mark is turning Alicia Rowland and Todd M. Schwartzman
into Natalie the pink troll and Pete the werewolf.
Some of them we've just totally transformed,
put a lot of hair on them, werewolf fangs.
Sometimes I'll walk by a mirror and like shock myself
because it doesn't look anything like me.
What we're doing is we're airbrushing my pink paint on.
It's a long process to sit in a chair for the makeup.
My whole transformation into a troll takes about two hours.
We make it fun for them, so it goes by fast.
My favorite part of being a troll are my ears.
You're a big pink furry troll.
They're fun.
Wow, they really went from fabulous to frightening.
And they're just two of the many characters you'll find in Halloween Town High.

But I got it and we finished it and it got mixed and everything
and I listened to it and I was like, oh my gosh, I want this to be my single.
What's your second album called?
It's just actually self-titled, so it's called Hilary Duff.
And I think when people listen to it, they'll really get to know me a little bit better.

How do you get ready for each show?
Sometimes I'm really behind. I'm like, oh my gosh, I have to hurry.

You know, you just want to do a good job. You want everyone to have fun.

I got married to my best friend when I was three.
Either we go shopping or eat. That's it.
We do everything together and our bond is really, really strong.
We had spaghetti and meatballs at our wedding. My mom made them.

Sometimes, you know, you feel like the only one who understands you is one of your peers.
For me, I love people and I love my friends, so it's really easy for me to be able to keep in contact.
