Everyone wants to look cool in school, and we're no exception. Uh, Pete, honey, could you do something about that tail? Well, we do things a little differently around here. Every day, thanks to the magic of Hollywood, some of our students get a whole new look that'll really turn heads. This is Mark Villalobos, our special effects makeup supervisor. He's in charge of transforming over 40 actors into the fantastic creatures and characters you see on the screen. Today, Mark is turning Alicia Rowland and Todd M. Schwartzman into Natalie the pink troll and Pete the werewolf. Some of them we've just totally transformed, put a lot of hair on them, werewolf fangs. Sometimes I'll walk by a mirror and like shock myself because it doesn't look anything like me. What we're doing is we're airbrushing my pink paint on. It's a long process to sit in a chair for the makeup. My whole transformation into a troll takes about two hours. We make it fun for them, so it goes by fast. My favorite part of being a troll are my ears. You're a big pink furry troll. They're fun. Wow, they really went from fabulous to frightening. And they're just two of the many characters you'll find in Halloween Town High. Halloween Town High, opening Friday at 8, 7 Central on Disney Channel. Now... Hocus Pocus will be back in a flash. I'm Jackson. What is it like to be on the road? A lot of it's really exciting and the only part that's that bad is I miss my friends, I miss my car, and I'm tired of living out of a suitcase. How fun was it to record your new song, Fly? I loved it so much because I think it's such an inspirational song for people. And it was a little bit hard for me to sing because I hadn't been singing in a while and I was like, I can't do this, I can't do this. But I got it and we finished it and it got mixed and everything and I listened to it and I was like, oh my gosh, I want this to be my single. What's your second album called? It's just actually self-titled, so it's called Hilary Duff. And I think when people listen to it, they'll really get to know me a little bit better. Let's have a great show and rock out. How do you get ready for each show? Sometimes I'm really behind. I'm like, oh my gosh, I have to hurry. I wear tennis shoes the whole time and I wear a lot of black. You get into this zone that's like, okay, I have to go out here and I have to do this and this and this. I get out here and I just want to please people. You know, you just want to do a good job. You want everyone to have fun. So everyone wants to know what Hilary Duff's dressing room is like. Can you show us? Sure, of course. Let's go. This is my dog, Macy. I gave her a tail, a highlight. I thought it'd be cute. This is my dressing room. It's a little messy. This is my wardrobe, and my favorite color is pink. Lots of pictures, lots of shoes. That's where I get ready. My stuff is not unpacked yet. Got the cowboy hat. We have a humidifier. It's good for my voice. Alright guys, I'm going to go watch the show. For Disney 411, I'm Jackson. See ya. The Aladdin Special Edition DVD has a bunch of special features, including the Aladdin Magic Carpet Ride where you can take a ride in the sky. A Magic Carpet Ride? I want to ride a Magic Carpet Ride. You got it, brother. Whoa, this is unbelievable. A Magic Carpet Ride. Thanks, Uncle Gene, but I never said anything about a wish. Very tricky. All right, I guess you got one more wish left. None. All right, well, I think that's all the time we have. And now you know, because it's Totally Sally. The Aladdin Special Edition is available now on Disney DVD and video. All right, look, we're going to try lightning on two. Oh, wait a minute. I don't know lightning. Okay, well then spin cycle on three. Don't know that one either. Slippery lizard? Sorry. Surfers, it's time to go behind the scenes of Disney's new movie from Pixar. What would it be like to live in a world filled with superheroes? Well, if anyone knows, it's Jason Lee. Provides the voice of the arch-villain syndrome in The Incredibles. Oh, come on. You got to admit this is cool. Surfers, say hi to Jason Lee. Can you tell us a little bit about your character? He's a bad guy. Hey, time out! He's out for revenge. Now you respect me because I'm a threat. Do you get to see the movie while you record your voice? No, that's the hard thing about it. You basically have the director, the microphone, and the dialogue in front of you. I'm syndrome. You're Nemesis in it. Oh, brilliant. I'm your Nemesis. Let's go. I said that word a lot, Nemesis. So did you have to, like, change your voice for the character in any way? Oh, this is just too good. I had to get really deep like this and very big and, I mean, very animated. Sure, it was difficult, but you are worth it. I was jumping up and down and using my arms. I mean, they have a video camera for reference because they use your expressions as you're doing the dialogue for the animation. After all, I am your biggest fan. Jason Lee threatens the world of syndrome in The Incredibles. You sly dog. Opening in theaters soon. I have some really close friends. Actually, I have three really best friends. What's great is that we all know each other so well we can finish each other's sentences, which gets a little creepy sometimes. Like, every time I come over, they have food there and they have clothes. One of the kids on the show's girlfriend, she's my absolute best friend. My sister is my ultimate best friend. I got married to my best friend when I was three. Either we go shopping or eat. That's it. We do everything together and our bond is really, really strong. We had spaghetti and meatballs at our wedding. My mom made them. I'd say it definitely takes work. If it's a real friendship, it shouldn't be any effort at all. Sometimes, you know, you feel like the only one who understands you is one of your peers. For me, I love people and I love my friends, so it's really easy for me to be able to keep in contact. I feel great when I'm around my friends. Just because I can just be whoever I am and they will never judge me. You always need someone to have fun with. Kids like you express themselves every day on Disney Channel. Saturday on Disney Channel. At his new school, Tony's having the same old problems. But this time, he's found a best friend who's a vampire. Now, two friends will stand together, hang together, and take off together with a herd of vampire cows. So don't have a cow, watch one fly. Surfers, it's time to go behind the scenes of the latest Disney movies. Who wants to go down the creepy tunnel inside the tomb first? Hey, surfers, how much fun would it be to go on a treasure hunt? Well, I got to see firsthand when I was on the set of the new Disney film, National Treasure. In this action film, Nicolas Cage plays modern-day treasure hunter Benjamin Gates, who's on an adventure of a lifetime. Hey, guys, Marisa Farrose here, hanging out with Nicolas Cage on the set of National Treasure. Action. Your character is a treasure hunter. Yes. And he actually isn't in it for the riches. Right. So what is the motive behind that? He's fascinated with American history, and he's also like a detective, and he's looking for clues from these different elements that come from history to find the treasure, and one of them is the actual Declaration of Independence. You think there is a treasure map on the back of the Declaration of Independence? The map is invisible. He's using clues like the Liberty Bell and the clues that you might find on a dollar bill. What do you see? It's really quite something. I know, like, normally when you talk about history, it's like, okay, I don't want to go to have history class right now. Well, it's not like that. It's really fun. I'm going to steal the Declaration of Independence. Ben? It really shows bits of America traveling and trying to find this magnificent treasure that's in our own backyard somewhere. Do you believe that this kind of treasure really exists? I do. I really think it does. I think it's entirely possible. He's got the map. Nicholas Page hunts for clues to a hidden treasure in National Treasure, opening in theaters soon. Next Tuesday, Disney Channel brings you Election Selections. What do we watch?
