O come, O come, Emmanuel, that ransom captive Israel, that mourns in lonely exile here, and till the Son of God appear, Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel shall come to thee, O Israel! O come, Thou disfringer of fear, and cheer us by Thy advent here, disperse the gloomy clouds of night, and dares dark shadows bore to fight, Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel shall come to thee, O Israel! O come, Emmanuel! O come, desire of nations, fight the peoples in one heart and mind, eat envy, strife, and quarrel, cease, fill the whole world with heaven's peace, Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel shall come to thee, O Israel! In the town of Nazareth in Galilee, Mary was betrothed to Joseph, a carpenter. The angel Gabriel would appear to Mary and tell her she would bear a son, and his name would be Jesus. Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel shall come to thee, O Israel! The time passed, and a decree came down from Caesar Augustus that everyone return to their hometown for a census to be taken. So Joseph led Mary, who was then great with child, to Bethlehem, the place of his birth. Music Music Upon arrival in Bethlehem, Mary and Joseph discovered that there was no place to stay. Joseph would have to search and search, until a kind innkeeper felt compassion for them and let them spend the night in his stable. In a crowd with its confusion, there were two from Galilee, a carpenter from Nazareth and a mother soon to be. But no one there could realize that Heaven's royalty was about to enter time and space as Lord of History. Jesus saw a woman taking from a well and asked her for a drink. She asked him questions and soon she realized the power of this man could only make him Christ. Drink of the water that's living and free, drink of the water I give. For all who shall drink will be free from fast and those who believe shall live. She asked him questions and soon she realized the power of this man could only make him Christ. Drink of the water that's living and free, drink of the water I give. For all who shall drink will be free from fast and those who believe shall live. For all who shall drink shall live. Jesus loved the land and its people. He especially loved the joy and laughter of little children. He loved the peace and love of little children. He loved the peace and love of little children. He loved the peace and love of little children. He loved the peace and love of little children. He loved the peace and love of little children. Amen. Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. Jesus died for all the children, all the children of the world. There are precious in his sight, Jesus died for all the children of the world. Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. There are precious in his sight, Jesus loves the little children of the world. When a terrible storm broke out, Jesus called upon the power of his faith to calm the raging winds. When you walk through a storm, hold your head up high, and don't be afraid of the dark. At the end of the storm is a golden sky and the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on through the wind, walk on through the rain, though your dreams be tossed and blown. Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart, and you'll never walk alone. You'll never walk alone. Jesus told his followers stories called parables, which contained lessons about their own lives. He would sit around the fire and tell parables like the Good Samaritan, the story of a man left to die on the road to Jericho, until the Good Samaritan treated him with compassion, caring for him and dressing his wounds. A story which teaches us to love thy neighbor, even though others may shun him. His followers listened to these stories, which helped them understand. Stories like The Sower, which tells how seeds sown on fertile soil bear fruit just as God's Word spoken to those who believe yields a stronger faith. He told them the parable of the Prodigal Son, which tells of God's fatherly love, forgiveness and mercy. As a wayward son returns home, and despite his ill-doings, is greeted with open arms by his forgiving father. And parables like The Lost Sheep, which tells the story of a shepherd who seeks one of his flock that has gone astray and safely returns it to the fold, just as heaven rejoices over those who return to the faith. Jesus would tell his followers these parables, and they listened, and they believed. Through his wise teachings and compassionate deeds, people began to follow him. They came from far and wide. They came from the mountains, and from the fields. They came to hear him speak. The crowds grew. And grew. And grew. They all heard about this man of wonder, miracles and wisdom, and they wanted to follow him. They all came to hear one of the greatest sermons he was to deliver. High atop the mount, the multitudes grew to hear his message, the message which we know as the Sermon on the Mount. They all heard about this man of wonder, miracles and wisdom, and they wanted to follow him. The time came for Jesus to travel to Jerusalem, where crowds awaited to hail him as their Messiah. Last night I lay asleep in, there came a dream so fair. I stood in old Jerusalem beside the temple there. I heard the children singing, and ever as they sang, he thought the voice of angels from heaven in answer rang. Jerusalem, Jerusalem, lift up your wings and sing, Hosanna in the virus, Hosanna to your King. And once again the scene was changed, new earth there seemed to be. I saw the holy city beside the tideless sea. The light of God was on its streets, the gates were opened wide, and all the world might enter, and no one was denied. No need of moon or stars by night or sun to shine by day. It was the new Jerusalem that would not pass away. It was the new Jerusalem that would not pass away. Jerusalem, Jerusalem, sing for the nightly song, Hosanna in the virus, Hosanna to the Lord. Hosanna in the virus, Hosanna forever more. In the days that followed, Jesus gathered with his disciples for his last supper. Which God in heaven and earth, the Lord and King, thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, and deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. Jesus went to pray in the Garden of Gethsemane, knowing he was soon to be betrayed by his disciple Judas. Amen. Thou is angels, he Thou is for me, and Thou is heaven, he who is therein. Thou art the Lord, and the King, Amen, amen, se vus et humilis. Amen. Thou is angels, he Thou is for me, and Thou is heaven, he who is therein. Amen, amen, se vus et humilis. Jesus was condemned to die, and carried his cross to Calvary. Down the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem that day, the soldiers tried to cleave the narrow streets, but the crowd pressed in to see the man condemned to die on Calvary. He was beaten from a beating, there were stripes upon his back, and he wore a crown of thorns upon his head, and he bore with every step the scorn of those who cried out for his death. Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way of suffering, like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King, but he chose to walk that road out of his love for you and me. Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary. Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way of suffering, like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King, but he chose to walk that road out of his love for you and me. Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary. With blood that would cleanse the souls of our men, made its way through the heart of Jerusalem. Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way of suffering, like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King, but he chose to walk that road out of his love for you and me. Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary. Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Were you there when they crucified my Lord? Were you there when they crucified my Lord? Ah, sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble, tremble. Were you there when they crucified my Lord? On the third day after the crucifixion, three women went to the tomb where Jesus was buried and were amazed to discover that he was not there. Jesus had risen. Holy, holy, holy Lord, God Almighty, Early in the morning a song shall rise to thee. Holy, holy, holy, Merciful and Mighty, God in three births and blessed Trinity. Holy, holy, holy, Though the darkness hide thee, Though the eye of sinful man thy glory make not see. Who near thou art holy, There is no beside thee, Perfect in power, As the days passed, Jesus would appear to his followers. Holy, holy, holy, Lord, God Almighty, He walked among them to let them know that he would be with them always. The song shall rise to thee. And he shall reign forever and ever. God in three births and blessed Trinity. God in three births and blessed Trinity. The life of Jesus has touched all of us. The power of his love has brought light into the world. His greatness has made him forever the King of Kings. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Hallelujah, hallelujah.
