I grew up in Mejia, Texas, a small town just outside of Houston, population 6,923.
One thing about living in a small town, I knew everybody and everybody knew me.
She was a homely child.
She used to be built like a boy. She hated high school.
She always loved school. She was very shy growing up. I never liked her much as a kid.

It all started when Mr. Hefner chose me to appear on the cover of 1992 March issue of
Playboy. He then picked me to be Miss May, and that's when my whole life began to change.
Because of Playboy, I was discovered by Paul Marciano. I then did some test shots for guests,
and the next thing I knew, I was on billboards everywhere as the new guest girl.
Now that I'm playing May of the Year, things just keep getting better and better.

I love to study and read and learn. I love art, opera, classical music, theater, film history, and literature. Someday I hope to teach English at the college level.
I've always enjoyed studying film history. I just love the romance in the old movies. I think romance is one of the best things about most of the arts.

Sometimes when I'm getting ready for a model shoot, I really get tired of being pulled at and tucked on and putting this on here and that.
It can really get aggravating sometimes, but then when it comes down to the shoot and you're all made up and you look really beautiful, it's all worth it when you see that final shot.
