And of course, you can reuse your Miracle Bow barrettes over and over. Hello, I'm Ellie Schneider, Education Director for Off-Ray. Manufactured the world's most beautiful ribbons. And with me is Jackie Nicholson, inventor of the Miracle Bow. This terrific product is revolutionizing bow making as we know it. Yes, it is, Ellie. It's just so simple and easy. Children can do it. Our little granddaughter does it. She's eight years old. And you can do them at a fraction of the cost and a fraction of the time that it took to make the old barrettes with the wire and glue because we use none. It's totally reusable. Oh, let's see that. When you're ready to change your ribbons, you just grasp the streamers and gently pull them until it's totally zipped out. Magic. Yes, it is magic. And it comes packaged too on a card. And so that you can use one for each of your children. If you have two daughters, or if you make up one that you don't want to zip out, just you have the other one to use. And the nice thing about it with the choice of ribbons that are out there, you can coordinate them to go with your outfit. You can make them fancy, sporty, casual. And there are three styles available. There is the ten hole, the five hole, and the three hole. And which one we would choose is determined by the type of ribbon and the amount of ribbon that we wanted to use to make our hair bow. That's true, Ellie. And the size of the bow is controlled by the amount of ribbon and the size of the loops that you pull through it. So it's just up to you, however you would like to make it. And this is the one, the ten hole. That's amazing. Use the same ribbon there. So it isn't the size of the red at all that controls the size of your bow. And this accommodates so many of the ribbons. Well, I love this one that you have here. This is fun. That's the confetti bow. And you can use this for cheerleaders or for the Fourth of July parade. This accommodates 30 yards of ribbon. That's great. That's a lot of ribbon. That's a lot of life in this little confetti bow. And then next we have the five hole. That's correct. And this is the five hole barrette. It has a slightly larger clip on it. And it has the rounded edge here as do all the barrettes so that you can zip the ribbons in and out without damaging any of them. Well, I love this bow. Now this ribbon that you used here is a marrowed wired edged ribbon. Right. And this would be one that we would traditionally think of for floral or definitely for Christmas. But you were able to use this in the five hole barrette. Right. And it makes a wonderful holiday bow. And the other nice thing is the other samples that we have here including the scarf. It has a scarf. You can use this with scarf or for tulle or for the wonderful bridal ribbons with flowers or pearls. Great. It's just as unlimited as your imagination. That's why we've done the three sizes so that you will use any ribbon that you choose to use. Well, the last but certainly not least is the three hole. That's correct. This accommodates the most volume of ribbon and fabrics. And you can do wonderful combinations with this. You can do the bridal as are the scarves or just you can. Well, that's what we have here. We have examples of ribbons in combination. And look how many ribbons you've been able to use here because you've used the three hole barrette. Right. These are just really lovely. Right, they are. And these are so unique that each of them is packed separately. And we always like to say these are so much fun. They're the most fun you can have by the yard. We'd like to show you how you can make your beautiful bows using any number of off-ray ribbons and the miracle bow. And we're going to start off with the ten hole barrette. And to show us just how easy it is, we have Caitlin here. The one we're starting with, Jackie, is the basic bow. Yes, and this is the ten hole barrette. And you take two one yard strips of ribbon and cut and take one of the one yard strips. From the back to the front of the barrette. And then give yourself a little bit of looseness there and push a loop through. So when you say from the back to the front, the clasp is on the back. And you're going forward. Right. And through there. This is the little ribbon pick that's provided in all of the packages. And you just actually just push the loop of ribbon through. You can adjust it to have it any length that you like. As we said, it's the amount of ribbon and the size of the loops that controls the size of the bow. Now, to finish this bottom row, I push the streamer through the last hole from the back to the front. All streamers all come out the front. Okay, then you can just adjust it to get it the size that you would like. There's no wire glue, so you can, you know, you're not ruined. You can just do that. And that's why it's so easy for Caitlin to do too. Caitlin loves it. Okay, then you're ready to work on the second row. Okay, we're going to take the stream and push it beside the streamer that's already there and where you started first hole bottom row. So there are two streamers now. And then you go to the top row, Ellie. And this row is only for loops. It's the design of this barrette that makes the bow. You don't have to think about it. It just it just makes a beautiful bow. And I love the ribbons that you're using. You're using this beautiful festive plaid. And Caitlin's rainbow sheer would just go with bow any number of items in her wardrobe. And of course, if she gets tired of that, she can simply pull out those ribbons and start all over and use another ribbon and create another look. And we've also, Ellie, used the ribbon on her t-shirt. Oh, that's a great way to show how it's used. Caitlin, can you stand up? Look at that. She's made a little tea time with that novelty ribbon. That's a great accent on your t-shirt, Caitlin. Well, it looks like you're done with your basic bow there. That's the basic bow. And then you can open your streamers. And then the next bow that we will do will be our continual loop. Now, that's the one that our model is wearing. And that's simply a matter of doing what you did here. And you have one started. Right, I do. Excuse me. I have done one row and then I came back across that row. And then to complete this bow, you just do the loops now into the top row and you'll finish with a streamer. So you're actually making three rows of loops in the two rows of holes there. Correct. And you have not cut the ribbon. No. You're just going back and forth. When we zip this ribbon out, it will be approximately three yards of a continual ribbon. So it hasn't damaged the ribbon or you can use this just over and over and over. I love this ribbon, too. This is a rainbow wire edge. Look how pretty. Isn't that pretty? You see all the different colors in that rainbow ribbon. Very beautiful. And also how nice you can use these wire edge ribbons and shape them. And to finish it, see now we have two streamers in this one. And as you said, the beautiful wired edge ribbon, it just makes a very festive bow. That's lovely. And they would just trim their streamers. The next one we have is the combination bow. And I guess when we say combination, that means we've combined several different ribbons here together. True, Ellie. I now have started the basic bow and I'm going to finish it by just pushing another loop through the top here. And then the streamer through the streamer hole here on the bottom. And then I have a contrast of a white. And I just take it and remember all streamers go from the back to the front. So now we have three streamers through here. So you used three one yard strips of ribbon. But we could put many, many pieces of ribbon in here. You could probably put five to seven of this in here. Yes, when you're using a nice sheer lightweight ribbon like this, you could certainly keep building on that. Right, you just push it through those little, those holes will accommodate a lot more than it looks like it will. Now I absolutely love this one. That's a real, real fun. And this is called the confetti bow. Confetti bow. And we started one here and this one we would just finish off by pushing the streamers from the back to the front. And then just trim the streamers. Isn't that pretty Ellie? Oh, that's gorgeous. Just gorgeous. Okay, now this confetti bow I've started. There you are. It has 15 yards of ribbon that I've laid out here on the table. And I've gotten a loop of the eighth of an inch ribbon. And instead of pushing this through with a ribbon pick, I'm just going to thread this through. Well, we certainly didn't want our viewers to think that you had to thread this through one at a time. See, this pulls right through. So you use the ribbon as a needle and to thread it right through the hole there. There's the little loop and then you would just go all the way down and then the second hole, second row would be done the same way. And look how great it looks on Marissa. Isn't that darling? That is just adorable, so this is a wonderful way to cheer for your team. Right, right. You can use this with a Fourth of July parade or four. It's very, very pretty, Ellie, if you take 30 spring colors, pastels. Oh, and then it will go with everything in your wardrobe. Now we have your five hole and the three hole. Right. And this is the five hole at Barrett, as you said, and this accommodates, this has a larger clasp that some people would like to have. And here again, you can use the ribbon pick and push the ribbons through and just separate them there. I love some of these examples that we have here. Aren't they beautiful? And this is where we see how you've used several different ribbons and combinations. And this one is especially nice. This uses the wired edged ribbon and the sheer ribbon together. And you're able to do that because you've used the five hole Barrett. Right. It's got beautiful streamers on that one. You can make the streamers any size you like. This is such a customized bow because it's exactly the way you would like to. There's no right or wrong way to make a bow because if you don't like what you've done, you just zip them out and start again because we haven't put any wire glue on this. Just keep adding ribbon until you get it just like you like it. And then the three hole, we've started this one with the beautiful metallic ribbons. Oh, wouldn't that be wonderful for the holidays or special occasion? Very pretty. Now you've used a wire edged ribbon in there. Actually, there's several wire edged ribbons. Right. There's one that isn't wire edged and then the others are. And you just take your ribbon pick and push this right through and then just separate the ribbons until you get the look you like. And as I said, you can always just zip your work out and use the Barrettes again and again. Let's see how you do that. Just zip that out. Okay. Oh, that's great. And then you would just simply change it to match your wardrobe. And we have several more here. And again, where we've used the wire edged ribbons and the shears together. And these are just luscious. And as you know, Ellie, this has the curved edge so that it just zips the ribbons right out and does not harm any of the beautiful ribbons. Well, Caitlin, are you done with your bow? Yes. Let's see that. Oh, that's lovely. I think all we need to do is have your grandma trim the streamers. It's a beautiful bow, Caitlin. Jackie, this has been so much fun. I think between the Miracle Bow and Alfred's wide range of ribbons, our viewers can really have a lot of fun creating very special personalized bows of their own. Jackie, the Miracle Bow is ideal for use with so many types of ribbons, but I especially love what we've done here with Alfred's elegant fancy ribbons to create these beautiful accessories for special occasion, for the prom, but most importantly, for bridal accessories. Yes, Ellie, it's so fun to do. We've done this Dior bow with a double-faced satin ribbon, and it's tied off with these beautiful satin ribbon with the pearls on the side. Now that's the one that's on our muggles. That's the one that's on the model's head, and we've done it here with the veiling that we'll show you how to do that also, and this is the Dior bow, as we said, we'll show you how to do it. We've just started some folds. It's actually just a matter of folding it out, and you can make it as large or as small as you like, and this is done in the three-hole barrette that has that rounded edge that we tell you about so that it doesn't snag the ribbons. Oh, we wouldn't want it to snag these ribbons. And then you just tie it off with your choice of the beautiful ribbons that have the pearls in them. Oh, that's lovely. And then the veil, we have gotten it started here. Isn't that pretty? Mm-hmm. And this is done in the five-hole barrette. So we pulled a clump, we found the center point of this veiling that's turned two yards back onto six yards, so there's been a really long train. And then you just pull it through at the center point, the midpoint, and then pull it through at the edge there. And just till you get these through, it's the center hole and then the other two holes out. And you just fluff this. Fluff it open. And then we would use the two of these together. Just button them up together, Ellen. So the bride would wear one, is it like this? That's correct. Oh, that would be lovely. Very pretty. And then so you just open these to any level that she would like. And as we said before, you can work pearls down through here. You can do the long streamers with the love knots in it. Just so many things to do with the bridle. Well, I love this technique right here because this is another way of showing the ribbons and using the wire edge ribbon. Here we've made our beautiful bow. Right. Using the ten-hole barrette. Correct. And then after the bow was done, we made a wire edge ribbon rose. And this technique is wonderful. We've used the wire to gather up the ribbon. I've made a knot in one end. At the other end, I've pulled the wire until the ribbon has gathered. And then we're using the knot as the center of the flower. And we would just take it and wrap it around and around itself until it forms this beautiful flower. And that's like the one that's here. After the flower has been created, we simply open up the barrette, take the end of the ribbon, and put it right down through the center into the hole. And look at that. Isn't that lovely? It's just beautiful. That would do for prom-offer bribes. Oh, yes. I think at this point, we want to take a look at our lovely models wearing these bows. First, we have Caitlin. And Caitlin is dressed up as a lovely little flower girl. And she's wearing a beautiful bow. And we've combined ribbons here. And that's one of the nice things about the miracle bow is that you can combine your ribbons together. Sure. Isn't that pretty? Beautiful. Next, we have Marissa. And Marissa is the bridesmaid. And she looks lovely in pink. Isn't she beautiful? Her hair is so beautiful. Oh, and look how that ribbon just stands out against her hair. Isn't that lovely? And Joyce. Joyce is the mother of the bride. So as you can see, you can make these for the whole bridal party. So Joyce is wearing this lovely golden white one that we just showed a little while ago. Very pretty, isn't it? Now, let's not forget the prom because we know that a lot of the young ladies out there will be making these to wear to the prom. And here's Marissa again, this time in that beautiful blue color. Isn't that striking? And notice how that off-rey ribbon bow matches exactly. Oh, that's wonderful. Well, Jackie, these beautiful ideas and lots more are available in colorful how-to sheets that we can find at any retailer that carries off-raised ribbons. Jackie, I know that your love of scarves is what actually led you to invent the miracle bow. That's correct, Deli. I wear a scarf every day as a man wears a tie. And so I thought there should be a way that people that don't wear their hair like mine could wear their scarves. And so this is what I came up with. This is one that we have just completed. I want to show you how easy it is to just zip it right out. And so that you can change it as often as you like. Oh, that shows the beauty of the reusable quality of your miracle bow. Wow, and it is so highly polished. The five-hole barrette has a rounded edge so that it doesn't damage any of the most expensive scarves. And this is the way you put it together. You just find the center point. Now, the five-hole is the one that you use with your oblong scarves. Correct. The oblong scarf goes center point to center point. And then just open the streamers. And we're just going from the center point to the end. And putting a loop through each hole. And you can adjust those to any size you like. So you control the size of the bow. You make it look very easy. It is easy. You just open the loops here. I usually look for the hem so I know that I've opened up the fullness. And here in the center, I form a love knot. Then that's what this is right here. Correct. This is a love knot. Uh-huh. And you just form an O. And then you form an eight. And just twist the top of the eight down over the bottom until it rests securely on the clasp. Oh, that's great. Now, if you wanted to, you could make love knots all the way across in a row. Sure. And it would look like what our model is wearing. Surely. Isn't that beautiful? That's very pretty. And it also has a nice casual look like that as well. Right. It does. Reduces the volume of the scarf, too, if you like a smaller bow. Now, the three-hole is the one that you would use for your square scarves. Right. And here's a square scarf that is made on the three-hole. And I would just like to take this out to show you how much fabric is actually in this little three-hole beret also. This accommodates the most volume of fabric. And it also has the rounded edge. Now, our model is wearing the three-hole. That's correct. The three-hole beret, and that has the love knot in the center of that as well. Right. Isn't that beautiful? Lovely. Center point to center point. And then just open the streamers and pull it through. And here again, I think we'll just put us a little love knot in here so we can just see how pretty that is with the square scarves. Just open as much of the fullness as you like. Form that O again, Ellie. And then just form the eight. This is a wonderful way, Ellie, to take the scarves out of the drawer and accessorize your wardrobe by a different look. And I love some of the examples we have here. We have the bandana, which, as we know, is very, very popular. And we have a very lovely silk scarf here. Now, that has the love knot as well. And the doilies can also be used. Yes, you just use your imagination. Here's a beautiful bandana. We've got so many of them. So open your drawers and take out your scarves. And with your three-hole or five-hole miracle bow, you can make any of these beautiful designs that you see here. The miracle bow hair beret and any number of off-rey ribbons can create such a wonderful variety of hair accessories. Now, that design has been adapted to create the miracle gift bow. Just take a look at the wonderful package bows we've created here using the gift bow and off-rey ribbons. Jackie, I know this is very easy. And I see you have one started here. Yes, Ellie. And it uses, as you said, the beautiful real ribbons, not any of the poly ribbons. And I've started this one by starting in the streamer hole here. And we're going to do a continual loop on this one. And you'll see this beautiful little rounded bow that you can attach to your packages. It's just so easy to do. So you're simply pushing or poking the ribbon from the back. Now, the back is... Where the adhesive is. Where the adhesive is here. And you're pushing that out to the front and you're creating your wonderful loops. Right. Now, I'm not going to be concerned with how the loops look because this is a wired ribbon. And I will be shaping those after I push it through the little hole before I put it on my package. But it's just so simple and easy to do. And it's just beautiful. It's something we've needed for a long time. Well, I don't know about you, Jackie. But one of the things that I absolutely love is wrapping packages. And to create a beautiful bow like this, just imagine how delightful the recipient of that package would be. It makes the gift very special, Ellie. And here we're going to just... We have to keep the ribbon so that the right side's out. That's the only thing to remember. And then we'll just complete it by... I'm going to cut this from the spool and form a streamer. And then I'll just go back and open my loops, shaping them. And then we have a box here that we've wrapped to receive this ribbon. It's ready to go. Right. Oh, that's very pretty and very easy, Jackie. And then I'll just remove the little adhesive back here. I guess I'll get my glasses so I can see what I'm doing. Now this style, you said, is called the continual loop bow. And this is very sticky, Ellie. So it's just going to stick right where I put it. Look at that. Isn't that pretty? That's very, very nice. Now, you can create other styles as well. There's this one that I've started. It has a streamer and then the loops. And so I will finish this one by just finding the end of the ribbon here and pushing it through, making long streamers on this one because this is such a pretty organi ribbon. Oh, that ribbon is just lovely. And this also has that nice wired edge so you can shape it. And this would also go on this package. There's so many beautiful gift wraps that the ribbons will coordinate with. And, of course, there's so many ribbons. I probably make such beautiful ribbons that you're never at the loss of a ribbon that'll match your gift wrap. Well, like I said earlier, the exciting thing about this is that when you go to your card store, you may see a few different styles and a few different colors. But now just look at this variety that we can make. And this is real ribbon, Ellie. So, you know, it can be zipped out and used again and again, the ribbon. Oh, yes. Well, I think any recipient of any of these packages, Jackie, would just be delighted with the miracle gift bow and the ribbons that you use to create these wonderful looks. It just becomes a part of the gift, doesn't it, Ellie? Oh, it certainly does. It's a gift with the gift. That's great. And then you would simply peel away the back. And this is the, it has a little tab here so that it's not confusing. And you just zip it away. And just, we'll turn this over so you can see how it would look as if we were attaching this also. That's lovely, Jackie. This is really one terrific product. I think the miracle gift bow and off-ray ribbons and your imagination, you can make some really special personalized gifts. Jackie and I thank you so much for your interest in the miracle bow, the hair barrette, and the new gift bow maker. Take my word for it, you will love them, all of them, for all the beautiful bows you can make and for being able to make them so quickly and easily. And remember, no wire or glue when you make your hair bows with the miracle bow. And of course, remember all the money you can save. You simply can't buy bows as pretty as those we've made with the miracle bow. And something we haven't mentioned, they're perfect for travel. And they're so easy, you can make your bow after you've arrived at your destination. You will always have a lovely bow to wear. And as I always say about the miracle bow, Ellie, it's the most fun you can have by the yard. So have lots of fun with the miracle bow.
