Good morning. It's 6.45am and you're enjoying Telecomputers Sleep Service. Welcome to Tomorrow's World. Welcome to the television of the future. Tonight on TVTV, gazing through a crystal ball at television's future. Giving up the big city news beat and going bush. And the dog of a show that's captured the spirit of a nation. Good evening. Maybe we've started something here, but everywhere you look at the moment, people are chopping up television and replaying it. And let's face it, there's too much of it out there for anyone to watch at all, so it's lucky we're here to watch it for you. The Nine Network had a go at it last night. Comedian Trevor Marmalade hosted a range of clips from right around the world, brought together with the titillating title of Uncensored Channels. I love the very first thing they showed. A Japanese character called The Screamer. Scream! I'll speak with these three. Scream! Scream! Scream! Scream! Scream! Scream! I see a sitcom, a feature, a series of instructional tapes for the home. Home video got a run as well, and although the quality of this was a bit rough, it was great to see a home video that was funny and had some thought put into it. Well, hi, Mickey, what's up? Oh, that sounds like fun. I probably won't be able to go. I'll have to stay home and take care of my dog. I can't leave him home alone. He's a domesticated animal, you know, he's practically helpless. I've got to wait on him hand and foot. Yeah, you're right, I probably should have gotten a fish. Well, thanks for calling, asking anyway. Yeah, bye. Still to come on TV-TV, arts critic and author Antonella Gambotto on the style, not the substance of TV interviewing.
