Good evening, I'm Shari Armistead. Opposition leader Andrew Peacock is under enormous pressure
tonight to restore his predecessor John Howard to the front bench as soon as possible. The
pressure is coming not only from Howard supporters but also from key people in the Peacock camp.
Making room for Mr Howard is seen as the only way to stop the party tearing itself apart.
