This Seven News update is brought to you by Colonial. Giving you a fresh approach to banking. Good evening, Emma Rossi updating Seven News. A huge great white shark has struck again off Perth. This monster was spotted during a feeding frenzy two kilometres off Perth's coast. A full-grown sea lion ripped to bits in no time. Well, it was alongside the boat for a period of time and we got a pretty accurate measurement of somewhere around 5.5 metres. White pointers are not normally found this far north. They prefer the colder waters of the southern oceans. Well, it looked like a big old animal, very girthy and a lot of weight. Certainly a magnificent animal. The shark was first spotted last week after it attacked two men on a surf ski 200 metres off Perth's Cottesloe Beach. It was seen again yesterday just 400 metres off another suburban beach. There's usually one white pointer sighting a year in Perth. Three in one week has some locals scared. Somebody to make sure that that shark is driven right out of here or killed. However, the pair who survived the shark attack last week say the predator is in its element and humans just have to live with it. Greg Waters, Seven Nightly News. The Prime Minister has won widespread support for an anti-drugs campaign worth nearly $90 million. The plan will send special strike teams against the Mr Biggs of the drug trade and there will be more resources to help addicts. Three people have been murdered in two horrific cemetery slayings just hours apart. 25-year-old bank officer, Mercina Halvagus, was reported missing at two this morning when she didn't come home from the cemetery. Her fiance and his father found the car she drove to Faulkner abandoned in the car park. Police made the grim discovery soon after. There's obviously no warning of this and it's a particularly brutal attack. The victim's body was found face up between the headstones only metres from her grandmother's grave. Police said she was fully clothed but there were signs of a struggle. Although an autopsy is yet to be carried out, police say the woman had been stabbed several times. And a mother and daughter were shot dead in front of three teenage children at a cemetery in Adelaide this morning. The victims were attending a traditional anniversary wake to honour the Day of the Dead when they were confronted by their killer. It's believed the gunman is known to some of the mourners and police are searching several addresses linked to him. Dean Felton, Seven Nightly News.
