Why send Elizabeth? Well, because he probably didn't want the confrontation, because Elizabeth is the manager and that's her job. I'm surprised Hogan didn't punch her. Beautiful, beautiful lady, Elizabeth. For some unknown reason, she is infatuated with this man, Macho. You know, I just figured out, McMahon, I know why he sent Elizabeth in the ring. Because if he got in there to challenge Hogan, Hogan mostly, he would not listen. Double axe handle right to the back of the neck from some 15 feet high. I'll tell you what, Gorilla, nobody, nobody, I mean, has any more guts than Randy Macho Man Savage. Dangerous, dangerous maneuver. One miscalculation on the part of the Macho Man, and it could be the end of his career. But I'll tell you, that's the difference between being a champion and not being a champion many times, is the man who's willing to take that chance. Suplex coming up by the Macho Man. But I just think that you have these two enormous egos in Ventura and in Macho Man, Randy Savage. I think they'll be so selfish in there. And that's something you can't be in a good tag team combination. Well, that could be. But I've seen Ventura at different times speak of Macho Man. And he really praised him. He sounds like he really, really admires the Macho Man. And the Macho Man in turn has also paid similar compliments to the body of Ventura. So I'm going by that. And as far as their ability goes, we know what tremendous ability they have. So they put all their assets together in that ring. That's why I'm saying that they should make a fantastic team. So far we have seen three good tags, which would lead one to believe that indeed they are not going to be selfish. And function as a unit. Well, what's he saying? Well, he was really putting a bad mouth on Elizabeth. Macho Man, ooh, kicking the back of the head. Macho Man and Jesse Ventura thus far in complete control and coming in the ring the hard way, as my Christ. Right into the buckle. Tag is made. And again, Ventura comes in. So we see those frequent tags. Yes. Which indicates again, as we stated before, that we are not going to see a selfish combination. Now, like I say, I've seen them from listening to these two talk in the past. They compliment each other an awful lot. They both seem to have enormous amount of respect for one another. That's why, you know, I kind of thought that together, if they do put all their assets together with the abilities that they both have, look at this here. Nobody does this much better than Macho's force coming off these top ropes into the ring or outside the ring. Elbow right to the chest area. That could very well spell defeat. And it does, yes. And look at Ventura. He looks thrilled. He's happy. I think he's looking at you, Bruno. He's always irritating me like this, this guy. Little kiss. Well, Hulk's still very much in the center of the ring. Now they make contact again. A sign headlocked by the Hulkster. Displaying those magnificent upper arms. Squeezing the head of Randy, the macho man's savage. While his manager, Elizabeth the lovely, looks down. Hulkster applying a whole lot of pressure with his side headlock. And Macho grabbing a handful of hair. Drops them to the canvas once more like a bad habit. Side headlock again. Cranking. Well, the referee checking is OK. He's all right around the float. Chancellor is vulnerable with those grabbing of hair. And the referee saw that. Handing it to him now. Wow, what a roundhouse. Macho Man whips in upside down to the turnbuckle. He's hung up there. He's got that boot underneath the steel curtain. And he's hung up. The Hulkster says, now, baby, now. Mama, I'm going to take it to you. So cold here by the champion. As he's got the macho man, Randy Savage, hooked upside down to the corner. Referee turns him loose. The Hulkster's right on a tear. The levels are blown right to the floor. One of the comments dropped. Macho Man comes flying out. Right almost easily into the arms of Elizabeth. And the champ's coming around the corner after him once more. Look at this. Look at. We see it. The macho man pulling his manager Elizabeth right in front of him. The Hulkster says, please, don't hit me. The hours to get this makeup on, please. The Hulkster says, move back. Well, this guy could call himself Macho Man after tonight. I wonder what a despicable display on the part of Randy Savage. Right, right. Pulling his manager Elizabeth out in front of him. He caught Hogan coming through the ring. Whoa. Outsmarted the champ there, but look at this outsmart job. Look out. Hulkster went in shoulder first. One pound two. He's hurt. Well, Macho Man to carry that belt around the man the way he hid behind his manager, Elizabeth tonight. No way. Even the Girl Scouts wouldn't have him. Certainly wasn't very Macho. Gentlemen don't survive in the World Wrestling Federation, Gorilla. Well, I beg to differ with that statement, as they certainly do. Elizabeth has departed in the premises, leaving the Macho Man to do his thing. Here in the Boston Garden, jam-packed, hanging off the rafters, as usual, whenever the World Wrestling Federation invades Bean Town, it's the hottest ticket in town. And there's a hot item right there in the Macho Man, Randy Savage, with undoubtedly the most devastating move in all of professional wrestling today, that tremendous elbow off the top, Jesse. Definitely, Gorilla. But I'll tell you, this young Scotty McGee is showing me a few things. I've had a couple chances to see him, and he lacks a little inexperience, but he makes up for it in sheer desire. He certainly does, and he'll get that experience here in the World Wrestling Federation. And I'll tell you, mechanically with wrestling, he's very sound. But the question is, does he have the capability to beat the Macho Man? I don't think so. Macho Man, extremely well-experienced in every aspect of professional wrestling. And if you want to be a star, you have to be experienced in every aspect. Definitely, and there's your experience. Macho Man didn't like something in the ring, took a walk at the apron. Nice head scissors by young Scotty. Trying to make a name for himself here in the mecca of all professional wrestling in the World Wrestling Federation. Now, ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce the World's Heavyweight Wrestling Champion from Venice Beach, California, weighing 302 pounds, Hulk Hogan. Oh, capacity crowd on its feet to welcome the Hulkster. Where is he? There he is. Listen to this ovation. This is a happening, what a charismatic individual. Hulk Hogan, the World's Heavyweight Champion, what a tremendous ovation he got for this capacity crowd here in Toronto. And that's his new theme song, Jesse. Oh, he can have all the theme songs in the world, Gorilla, but he's got to contend with the Macho Man, Randy Savage. And let me tell you this, Hogan, if he ends up on his back and if the Macho Man delivers the elbow off the top, we will see a new heavyweight champion, Gorilla. The most devastating move in all of professional wrestling today, and this man has it down to a science. That flying elbow off that top turnbuckle, I've never seen anyone get up from it yet. And I'll tell you what, Hogan better keep his eyes off Elizabeth, that she could cost him the title. What a beautiful young lady, and Macho Man taking exception right off the bat to her being introduced before him. I don't blame him, he's the star. She's the manager. It's always ladies before gentlemen, Jess. Not everyone's a gentleman. Gentlemen finish last. Highly unlikely, there's a gentleman right there with the white tights and the blonde hair who has won the hearts of the entire wrestling world. Hope Hogan is the champion. For now, Gorilla, for now. Until somebody takes that title from him. Whoa, power shown by the Hulk as the Macho Man giving away a lot of weight. Oh, he definitely is. You know, Hogan's got about a 60-pound weight advantage. Randy Macho Man can't let that psych him out, though. He's got to use his quickness. And I'll say this. The longer the match goes, the more I predict the chances are better for the Macho Man, because Hogan's carrying a lot of weight. Absolutely true. Hulksters certainly will run out of gas before the Macho Man does, although he's in excellent physical condition. But the Hulkster playing with him now like a rag doll. And this capacity crowd loving it. They're eating it up. Macho Man stepping outside. Wants to break that momentum. Golden opportunity here for the Macho Man. This is what it's all about. This is what the months and months of destroying people week after week led up to. And now he's got a chance for it all, Jess. That's right. We can't let the Hogan's psych or all these idiots in the crowd psych him out. Yeah. Macho Man exploding. Ram's a champion into that top third, but look how quick he is. That's right. I don't think Hogan's met an opponent that's any quicker than Randy Macho Man Savage. Macho Man unloading with some heavy artillery now on the champion, Ram's him into the top turnbuckle. And a chant going out by this capacity crowd, Hulk. Oh, Hulkster off the ropes with a big right hand in the back of the neck. And another one. And a Hulk with a high knee, and the Macho Man is outside. Macho Man all the way to the concrete floor. Randy right on the back of his head. Look out. Oh, look at that. Give me a break. Yeah. Look at Hogan threatening that woman. Can you believe it? Can you believe the champion of the world is threatening that poor little lady? He's not threatening her. The Macho Man pulls Elizabeth right in front of him as he saw the Hulkster coming. Talk about your cowardness. Hogan's disgusting, in my opinion. Walks out there and almost punches Elizabeth in the face. Disgusting. What kind of a man is this, Macho? What kind of Macho Man is this that would pull a woman in front of him to save his own hide? Give me a break. Both men back inside the ring now. Hogan had no business on the floor anyway. The match is supposed to take place in the ring. Macho Man just lost his title in my book. He certainly is not Macho. He didn't lose it in mine. Hogan did. Almost punches Elizabeth in the face. I can't believe it. Just like somebody's threatening you, Jess, and you pulled your wife or your mother in front of you to protect you. Would you do that? Well, for one thing, gorilla, I don't have a wife. That's only a hypothetical situation. You certainly have a mother. And for another thing, my mother's tough enough to take care of herself. Give me a break. Disgust and disdain coming from this capacity crowd. Hogan only weighs 300 pounds. Maybe he'd like to get little 100-pound Elizabeth in the ring. Once you saw Elizabeth, he stopped dead in his tracks, Jess, but the fact remains that the so-called Macho Man pulled his manager right in front of him. Now he wants to shake hands. Let bygones be bygones. Hulks are not buying any of that. Can't win the title from out there, Mr. Savage. Savage is just getting it back together again. He's gonna wait till Hogan threatens Elizabeth again and then lower the boom on her. All right. Get all the money. Get it around. Referee warning Randy Savage to stay inside the ring. Yeah, Hogan better watch out, because he's standing outside the ring, and we know one other move that the Macho Man has. Macho Man's up there on top of the turnbuckle, looking down some 16, 18 feet down to the champion. Thinks better of it as the champ re-enters or tries to re-enter. Both men taking a pretty good look, stalking. Both men showing they respect one another. Wow. Power move by the champ with the arm-wringer. Takes him over. Wow. Finger right in the eye. Macho Man with the upper hand. Again, goes to the outside, but the champ is on his feet. Macho Man on the top turnbuckle, and the holster catches him in midair. I can't believe it. Backbreaker. Down for the cover with the side headlock. No. Foot in the ropes. Talk about your strength. Well, Macho Man made a mistake there. He didn't have Hogan beaten down. Look at Hogan going out after Elizabeth. He chased Elizabeth around the corner. Look at that. The champion of the world is threatening a woman. I can't believe it, Gorilla. The world heavyweight champion talking a fist back and threatening a 100-pound woman. He's not threatening a woman. I'll tell you what, I'm getting so ticked I may get involved in this thing right here from the desk. I've seen all I need to see out of this. That's disgraceful, what Randy Savage is doing. Pulling Elizabeth in front of him every time the holster comes near him. Give me a break, will you? Hogan chasing poor Elizabeth around the ring. Champ back inside now as the Macho Man is, who is not Macho any longer. A little peek-a-boo tactic here. Come on, Savage, you got him. Savage trying to get the champ to move in close enough to do something devious. Elizabeth better watch out, or Hogan's gonna jump onto the floor again. Yes. You know that's not true. What are you talking about? He jumped out and chased Elizabeth right around in a macho ring. He jumped out and went after Savage, and Savage pulled Elizabeth around in front of him. Monsoon, you better hit Pearl Vision, because you need to change your eyeglasses. We'll get a couple of replays, and we'll show you what that's all about. Look at this arm bar applied by the holster. Look at the difference in the size of the arms, Jess. Savage with a handful of hair, backs the champ into the corner. Oh, knee right to the kidney area. And a snap mirror takes a big guy out of there. Whoa. Ha, that'll slow him down. Tremendous knee drop. Look at that push-off. Monsoon's getting bent out of shape. There he goes outside. Macho man up to the top, looked up the wall. Macho man with a double-axe handle right under the back of the neck of the champion. Putting the boots to him now as the count goes on. And Savage realizing it jumps back inside. Champ is down on the concrete, not the place to be. You notice Elizabeth had to run for cover the minute Hogan went to the floor. Wasn't anywhere near there. Count continuing to go on, and Savage continuing to administer the punishment for the champion. And at Monsoon, Savage now. Come on, get him in the ring. One, two, three. He blocked the right hand. And the right of his own, and the Hulk's back in there. And he's on fire. Irish whip now, and the Hulk off the ropes. Oh, what a clothesline. Oh, they might be behind him, but I'll tell you something, Macho Man Savage, in my opinion, is faster, he's stronger, and I think Chico's belt is in more jeopardy than it could have ever been. That's Tito. Chico, that's what I said. All right, Santana backed off by the referee. This match could get a little out of hand. Two extraordinary competitors in there, blocked right hand, and Santana ready to retaliate. You saw how quick the Macho Man was going to block that punch. Well, that's because punching's illegal. Randy Macho Man Savage saw the closed fist and went to the ropes. I don't blame him. The Macho Man, one of the craftiest wrestlers in the World Wrestling Federation today. Santana against the rope. No, Macho Man, no Santana. Round and round they go here. Two very evenly matched combatants right hand and send Santana down to the canvas. The Macho Man with a kick to the back. Randy Savage, snap mayor now, Savage in control. The knee finds its mark as well. Just like that, things turning around, not looking all that good for Santana. Head to the buckle. Santana being set up by the Macho Man. Missing with the elbow. Santana coming off. Blocks the hip toes and over goes the Macho Man. Missing with the elbow. And look at this, quick as a cat, Randy Savage on the outside. Now on the inside, come crashing down across the head of Santana. A cover, one, we get two. I'll tell you, McMahon, Randy Savage is setting such a quick pace in this match. I don't think Chico's in shape enough to stay with him. He's definitely in shape. There's no doubt of that. I just wonder whether or not Santana is ready for the tactics of the Macho Man. You can hear this capacity crowd urging Santana to retaliate. Double rest lock now. And from our vantage point it appeared as though there was a yank of the hair. Did you see that, Jesse? No, I certainly did not see that. I think Macho Man, I said it before, he's much more powerful than Santana. He muscled him over. Now you see Santana grabbing hair, trying the only way he'll ever get out of the hold. And now a Macho Man continues. Look how he's leaning all up on him, Jess, trying to wear him down, trying to use his weight to his advantage, almost like riding time in amateur wrestling. Definitely, because he's making Chico hold his weight. That's Tito. That's what I say, Chico. Santana with another elbow. However, look at that, a scoop now. Look at this, up in the air, Santana, what a slam by the Macho Man. He's going up. Yes, indeed, Randy Savage on the top rope, getting ready, leaping up. Oh, look over the midsection. Santana with a knee lift. A kick to the head, another one. Santana, a house of fire. And now Santana with tremendous momentum. Brick left jab, here comes a roundhouse. And I might add, every one of them a closed fist, an illegal blow. Santana's breaking all the rules of wrestling to try not to save his title. Elizabeth very unhappy at this juncture of the matchup. Santana now, off the rope. Oh, look at that. Well, not the most sportsman-like thing to do, I don't believe. Oh, look at this, Santana and the Macho Man, right hand. They're outside the ring. Savage stalking away, Santana coming in right after him. They're both in and they're both out again. Macho Man back in. Round and round, both in and... And did Chico fall for that trap, McMahon? Look at this now, the Macho Man trying to set up Santana for the Piledriver can't do it. They're out, oh, knee lift by the Macho Man. And I believe both men have been countered out. Both men are out on the floor. Chico Santana, I can't believe he took the match to the floor. I don't mind telling you, ladies and gentlemen, this thing thus far proven to be everything that certainly it was promised. All right, Macho Man Randy Savage. We've seen a couple of matches thus far in this gigantic 16-man elimination tournament. Yours is up next, and you've got Polish power, Ivan Putzki. Yeah, she's rolling out of the fist bowl and everything, and there ain't no problem, but I'm telling everybody right now that the wrestling classic is the most important thing at this particular time. Am I ready? Yes, I'm ready. Am I nervous? Yes, I'm nervous. I'm hyper, and I'm ready, and I'm nervous, but I know how much to sneak. Don't you, Elizabeth? Oh, yeah. Elizabeth, you're... Oh, it's so exciting. It's just the most exciting night for me. All right, now, Randy Savage, we alluded earlier on, as Lord Alfred Hayes said, the tremendous conditioning going into a tournament like this, and obviously you're in superb condition. I'm in superb conditioning. I'm even wasting it right now being hyper, but I got so much to burn that I don't think anybody can touch the Macho Man Randy Savage, the number one wrestler in the world, and I'm gonna prove it tonight in Chicago. How do you like that? Well, I should caution you. Ivan Putzki, you know, this man is a brilliant man. He's been on the World Wrestling Federation, one of the mainstays, for almost a decade. He's great. He's strong, too. Isn't he strong, Elizabeth? He's strong. But who's quick as a cat? I'm quick as a cat, and I got the endurance. All right, thank you very much. We are waiting very anxiously for this one. Let's go back to ringside. This contest, one ball with a 10-minute time limit. Introducing first to my left, from Krakow, Poland, weighing 240 pounds, Ivan Putzki. And his opponent, led towards the ring by his manager, Elizabeth, from Sarasota, Florida, weighing 235 pounds, Randy, Macho Man, Kevin. Macho Man just not being led by Elizabeth. Elizabeth is in the background somewhere. Elizabeth is where she should be. Well, I disagree with that. If you have a manager that's leading you to the ring, you don't put her in the background and sort of forget about her. Let me ask you, Gorilla, did you ever have a female manager? Absolutely not. Then how do you know where she ought to be? I know what the proper etiquette is. The beautiful, lovely Elizabeth holding the ring ropes open for this man, Randy Savage, the Macho Man. And what a pick of the draw in the first round, just for him to get Putzki. Well, I'll tell you what, Gorilla, and I'm gonna let it be known right now, I worked out a lot with Randy Macho Man Savage preparing Randy Macho Man Savage for this tournament. So Macho Man has had Elizabeth's brains, his own, as well as Jesse the Body Ventura's, tutelage to get him through this, Gorilla Monsoon. What do you think about that? Well, it certainly has to have done him some good because you have a tremendous record here in the world of professional wrestling. And not only that, but I know a lot about Ivan Podusky. I'm sure you do. His name's Putzki, Jesse. It's Putzki. Poduski, right. Elizabeth taking the ring attire off the back of the Macho Man and Ivan pacing. He's got a smile on his face, but I don't know. Look out, Randy Savage bails out immediately. And Elizabeth is still in the ring, Jesse. This match has not started yet. The bell has not rung. Putzki looks to be in tremendous condition. Putzki's always in tremendous condition. That's one thing I'll give Ivan Putzki. The man is always in shape. Always in shape. Probably one of the most agile and quick men in all professional wrestling, Macho Man, Randy Savage. And Putzki's saying, come on. You want to come off the top? Come on, I'm waiting for you. Ha-ha, he's not gonna catch him. Putzki's not gonna catch Macho Man with any move like that. Well, the Macho Man obviously with the upper hand as far as speed is concerned, and Ivan would have a tough time catching him, but once he does, the power department goes to the Polish power. Look at the break. Oh! He spat right in his face. There's no call for nothing like that, Monsu. Well, the Macho Man earlier on has spat on Ivan Putzki. I never seen that. I expected from a guy like Poduski, though. Provocation will do it. Ivan Putzki was provocated. Now he's positioning Elizabeth around to the other side of the ring. I guess that's where he wants her. Side headlock now by the Macho Man. Ivan not wasting any time getting out of there. Shoulder block, and it was the Macho Man who went backwards, as Ivan shows us that power. Well, I don't deny it, Gorilla. Poduski is a powerful, powerful man. Very powerful. The Macho Man's gonna have to rely on brain power to get by this one, in my opinion, Gorilla. It certainly will be interesting, because I know both of these gentlemen have high hopes for this tournament. Oh, Putzki putting the brakes on, and once again, and there goes the Macho Man. Rammed into that top turnbuckle. There's no turnbuckle pad there. It's just steel covered over with tape. I'm sure the Macho Man has seen a few stars right now. Turning his back on the Polis bar, slipping underneath the rope. The referee makes Ivan move back. Oh, high gouge. How quickly the tide can turn in professional wrestling. Macho Man with a whole lot of tape on those hands. And now Putzki with that hammer-like action. And Mr. Savage is down on the canvas. Putzki ramming him head first. Ivan very methodical, but when he lays it on you, he certainly can hurt you in a lot of ways. Oh, big uppercut. Well, Putzki's had the upper edge so far. Macho Man's gonna have to turn it around. Otherwise, it'll be ending in a hurry. Ivan with a badge. It's going to work. Just like a machine. Nonstop action. Breaking every rule in wrestling, if you notice that. Oh, Macho Man hooked it in. Look out. Macho Man's got his feet up on the second... He got him. Oh, he got his foot up on the second turn. He outsmarted him. Look at Elizabeth. She knows what went down. Look at this. Macho Man hightailing it out of here in a hurry. But definitely both feet were on that corner turnbuckle to get that leverage to hold Putzki's shoulders down. Outsmarted him. Let's get to work. The winner of this bout, Randy, Macho Man Savage. Let's go back. I'm most interested to take a look at this videotape, Jess. There you can see Paduski not even listening to the referee, just kicking the Macho Man. Macho Man reaches it, grabs that leg, gets Putzki on his back, holds him down, referee down in there. One, two, and three. Macho Man outsmarting Putzki. Both legs up on top of the second turnbuckle. Right now, wrestling fans, let's go up to Vince McMahon. Announce it. This quarter... Announce it. This quarterfinal matchup scheduled for one fall with a 15-minute time limit. In the ring to my right, the man who in the first round scored a victory over Davey Boy Smith, Ricky the Dragon Steve Boe. And his opponent... Lended towards the ring by Elizabeth, the man who defeated Ivan Putzki in the first round, Randy Macho Man! There it is, pomp and circumstance, the music for the Macho Man, Randy Savage, along with his manager Elizabeth. What a tremendous matchup this one's gonna be. Whew. You can feel the electricity and the excitement here in the air here in the Rosemont Horizon as you can cut it with a knife. Look at beautiful Elizabeth. And still, the bod has not returned. Ricky Steve Boe, all business, ready to go, ready to get this thing on, but the Macho Man got a lot of things he wants to do before this match gets underway. Pointing the finger right in the kisser. Look at this, give me a break. Pulling Elizabeth right in front of him for his shield. What kind of man is that? That is ridiculous. Oh, look at that pro-Harvard job. Macho, oh, ducked underneath nice by Steve Boe, and now through the legs, the bell's gone. This one's underway, and the Macho Man feeling the wrath of the Dragon who is ready. Look at the look on his face. Elizabeth finally getting around to getting off the ring attire with the Macho Man, who in my book is not very macho anymore. Reaches up and hooks the leg of the Dragon, pulls him outside the ring side. They're right in front of our table now and going to work on the outside. Macho Man shoves him back inside, steps in quickly just like a cat. Both of these men extremely fast. Of course, the Macho Man will use more devious methods. Went right around the referee that time, but got caught coming in by the Dragon. Planted that leg right up there. Oh, look at that head scissors takes the Macho Man right over the top rope with it. Down onto the concrete floor. Not the place to be. Knife edges, one after the other by the Dragon. A tumble. Atomic drop coming up on the concrete. Oh, he did it. Macho Man face down on the concrete. And Steve-O not done with him yet. The count going on. And now Ricky thrust the Macho Man underneath that bottom rope. Here he comes, nicely caught. Turned around and ready, but Macho Man hung onto the ropes and came, but the Dragon was ready. Another arm whip in. Duck underneath now by the Macho Man. Look out. Suplex will execute it. The body is back. Welcome back, bod. Thank you. Did you get your message across? I got it across, I got it across. We'll find out. Look out now the Macho Man going up to the top turnbuckle. Steamboat on his feet. Coming down with that right hand. Nice knee lift by Ricky. Elizabeth with a worried look on her face. As the Dragon unloading with those karate shots. Suplex from the outside bringing him back in the hard way. Came down heavy on that right shoulder area. The Dragon giving a sign. He's going to the outside. Up to the top turnbuckle. No, Randy, get up. Macho Man made it through his feet. Nice high cross body. Didn't hook the leg. He didn't get him. You're not going to beat the Macho Man without hooking something. Never. Very controversial chops their gorilla to the throat. Referees should be stepping in and doing something about that. Well, if he thought they were illegal, I'm sure he would, Jess. Yeah. Dave Hebner, one of the premier referees here in the World Wrestling Federation. And now on the outside draped over the top rope, the Macho Man. Look at this. What's he looking for? He pulled something out of his tights. He missed with it. He nailed them with it as they went down whatever he had in that right hand. Knocked Steamboat right out. He got him. He got him. Well, but how did he get him, Jess? Yeah. Macho Man went into his tights for some kind of a foreign object. Let's get the official word. The winner of this bout Randy Macho Man 7. Look at Elizabeth trying to get him out of there in a hurry. It was obvious to me what went down. He used a pair of brass knuckles or something to that effect. Now I suppose you're going to blame me for that, huh? Why not? You were back there talking, William. I wouldn't put it past you. Let's go back and take a look at the video replay and you'll see how evident it is. Right here, he'd already taken it out. He's got it on his head. He just hit him. He hit him, Gorilla. You're worse than the Richard Nixon takes. I'll tell you that. He hit him with a foreign object, Jess. That's what he hit him with. It showed no foreign object whatsoever. Look at that. He just stuffed it right back into his tights right there. What? The brass knuckles or whatever it is that he used. Nevertheless, advancing in the tournament, the Macho Man. Right now, let's go to Gene Okerlund. Ladies and gentlemen. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the semi-final match in our elimination tournament. It is scheduled for one fall with a 15-minute time limit. To my right, the man who has gained victories over Nikolai Volkoff and Adrian Adonis, the Dynamite Kid. And his opponent, led towards the ring by Elizabeth, the man who has been victorious thus far over Ivan Putsky and Ricky the Dragon Steamboat, Randy Macho Man Savage. Well, there he is, the not-so-Macho Man in my book, Jess. Why? You know, I don't like the idea of this. Now, Macho Man's facing a real tough opponent here in the Dynamite Kid, while that old JYD is just sitting back licking his chops and has to do absolutely nothing to get into the finals. Well, that's a luck of the draw, Jess. You saw what happened to Orndorfer and Santana. And both of them were eliminated. They ought to make the guy come out here and do 200 push-ups in between or something to make it even. You got no comment on that, I suppose. And highly unlikely you will ever see that take place. Macho Man, proving to me he is not so much of a Macho Man as in the last round he literally pulled Elizabeth in front of him for protection, Jess. Is that what you taught him over the last several weeks? To use Elizabeth as a shield? I don't hear you commenting. Yeah, I got nothing to say, you know. What Macho does in there, Macho's trained to do, he's ready to do. Elizabeth and I got him ready. Macho Man giving us a pose demonstration, not so Macho Man giving a pose demonstration. Hey, the name's Macho Man, Monsoon, Macho Man. I don't call you orangutan, do I? No, but anytime you try to belittle or humiliate a lady, and in my opinion, until she proves me wrong, Elizabeth is a lady. And a beautiful lady at that. You just watch the action, don't watch Elizabeth, that's what you're paid to do. I'm always watching the action. Both men are jockeying for position here. I don't know who I'd have to give the nod to here for speed, Jess. Very, very close. Well, this is a tremendous matchup guerrilla. Fans here in this tremendous elimination tournament, certainly getting a treat. Undoubtedly, the greatest tournament in the history of professional wrestling, the World Wrestling Federation continues to outdo itself. Look at these sit-outs and turn-ins by the Dynamite Kid, and the Macho Man didn't like it. He's gonna regroup. Jess, now you were back in the locker room, you had some words with the so-called Macho Man. What kind of game plan does he have for Dynamite? He's prepared, he's keeping his cool. You notice the Macho Man doesn't get frustrated, he keeps his cool. And that's what I believe will prevail. A couple of words of encouragement, not so much instructional by Elizabeth. I really don't, I haven't figured out to this point in time, Jess, exactly what her function is. Her function, look at her, guerrilla. If you can't figure it out, it's too old for me to tell you. I'm talking about out here, Jess, in and about that squared circle. Both men vying for position here. She's one heck of a distraction, isn't she, guerrilla? Not to a guy like the Dynamite Kid, who knows what it could mean to win a tournament as prestigious as this one. Oh, sucker job, referee, stepping in between both men, trying to break them, gave the Macho Man the upper hand there. Look out, Dynamite rammed into that top turnbuckle, and that's all it is is a turnbuckle. There's no pad there whatsoever. That is a steel just wrapped up with that tape. Oh, Dynamite retaliating with a nice right hand, and another one dropped the Macho Man down to the canvas. Side headlock now by Dye. And he goes for the ride, nice and quick. Over the top, look how quick. What a nice shoulder block. Wow. That was one collision there, guerrilla. Looked like a train coming off those ropes. Macho Man down heavy. Dynamite sends him in for the ride again. No, back drop. Whoa. Did he shoot him up there, or did he shoot him up there? I think Randy Savage may have underestimated this boy a little bit. High cross body, but they're into the ropes. Referee will have a time untangling him here. Look at that cheap shot by Dynamite. Well, Savage didn't want to break the hole. Reversal again. Went for a back drop, but got caught in the sunset flip. Trying to get the momentum. No, he didn't get it. Macho Man with enough presence of mind to drop right down into that sternum area. And the Dynamite kid now just... This match is taking its toll on both men. Dynamite's in better shape than the Macho Man right now. Oh, I don't know about right now. Macho Man showing us that ring savvy that he possesses. That's the only edge I can really give anybody this match, yes. Oh, ducked underneath nicely. Oh, they both clothesline each other. Wow. Both had the same plan in mind. Both executed well, and they both got caught. Referee lame to count on both men now. Imagine if they both counted out here, Jess. Yeah, then the junkyard dog walks in with the title. He'd be the winner. Yeah, what a way to win it. Perfect junkyard dog manner to win it too, that way. Good happen. Count has to stop now because Savage is on his feet. Look at Elizabeth. She is concerned. Macho Man just about able. Usually he goes up there just like a monkey, but he's really taking his time. Oh, what a drop kick. Dynamite getting way up some 17 high. Look at this. A superplex off the top rope. What is this? Never seen this. Both men on the top. Oh, my God. Oh, wait a minute. He hooked his legs. He's going to get him. What a move by the Macho Man. Unbelievable. Let me hear you say it, Gorilla. Unbelievable. Fantastic move. Dynamite Kid just when he thought he had it all wrapped up, he still thinks he won, Jess. He did not win. What a move by Randy Macho Man Savage. Dynamite thinks he won the match. Let's get the word. Here he goes. Randy Macho Man Savage. The winner doesn't look too hot to me as he's face down on the concrete. Compromise to that tremendous superplex off the top rope. Never seen it before. Jess. Unbelievable. I don't know how Randy did it. I don't know how he did it, but he did it. He turned defeat into victory. Can we get the replay on this thing? I'm sure we can. I've got to look at this again. Macho Man Randy Savage reaching down into the bag of tricks that he has and coming up with turning defeat into victory with one simple movement. Just unbelievable. Look at this. He's literally being carried back to the locker room. What do you expect? Let's go back and take a look at the video replay. It's a beauty. Here you see the Dynamite Kid. Unbelievable. Standing on the top rope. Both suplexing. Randy Macho Man Savage from the top rope. Wham. I've never seen anything like it in my life, Gorilla. Now look at this. How the Macho Man did this. Look at this. Macho Man hooking into the cradle. You can see the Macho Man shoulder is off the mat. One, two, and three. Unbelievable that the Macho Man would have the intestinal fortitude, the guts, and the savvy to pull something like that off, Gorilla. Let's hear it. Ladies and gentlemen, we are now Ladies and gentlemen, we are now about to have the final match. The match that will determine the championship in the Elimination Tournament. This contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish. Introducing first, led towards the ring by Elizabeth the Macho Man Randy Savage The Macho Man with a heavy lift as Elizabeth pointing him in the right direction. Give me a break. This guy's hurt, Jess. I know he's hurt. Now why don't you say how much guts he's got for coming out here? And what's the junkyard dog been doing? He's been sitting back laying around sleeping. This is unfair, Monsoon, and I'm going on record to say it right now. But I think the Macho Man, he's got it. He can reach down deep inside and beat this guy anyway. Suppose it had been the other way around, Jess, and it was the Macho Man who threw the body. Would that have been unfair? Yes, you know I'd tell it like it was. Take a look at him. Randy Savage coming down to this after all these tremendous matches. The final match in the Elimination Tournament. The winner here will be the champion and get that awesome press speech. Let's go to our ring announcement. And now, his opponent from Charlotte, North Carolina, the junkyard dog. Let's go. Savage throwing his gear out into the ringside here. And we're just about set for this one to get underway. The final, the championship match in this tournament. And once again, give me a break. And look at this, the JYD looks like he's going to punch Elizabeth. What a man he is. Junkyard dog. No way, shape, or form would hit Elizabeth. Elizabeth bailed out in her hurry though. She wasn't too sure about it. Savage with a chair. Referee makes him discard that immediately. A fitting windup to this tremendous classic. With these two, look at this. Ref, make him discard the chair. Let's get on with this match. Oh, look at that. He threw it at the dog. And the dog caught it. And the dog said, this is what you're going to get. That would sort of foul up your game plan right there, Jeff. Throw your strategy right out the window. Referee putting the count on as Savage is the illegal one outside the ring. Not too anxious to get in and mix it up with the dog. Right out the other side, just in long enough to break that count. And the Macho Man having a few words with and I'm sure the derogatory remarks to some of our ringsiders looking around for something, maybe some kind of a weapon. Dog just waiting patiently inside the center of the ring. Look at the look of determination on that kisser. Macho Man saying, let's talk this over. As well he should. You know, the JYP here ain't had to wrestle nobody all night hardly. Having a little conversation here with some of our ringsiders. And Elizabeth saying, hey, the count's up to about eight. You best get back in there. Dog gonna win the strength department for sure. But the speed and agility will go to the side of the Macho Man, Randy Savage. And what a befitting ending. Take a look at the tremendous draw on hand. And they certainly have enjoyed every minute of this. Head drop right into the thoracic vertebrae area. And Elizabeth looks worried. Coming drop perhaps coming up. You betcha. Wow. And you know, I could tell Gorilla that that match with the Dynamite Kid seems to have taken a toll on the Macho Man because he's not as quick as he normally is. Why wouldn't it, Jess? I've never seen that done in 25 years plus in professional wrestling. A superplex with both men standing on the top turnbuckle. Look at the dog. He's knows where the hurt is too. As he slaps on his bear hug. Yeah, he was sitting back in the locker room as he wrestled for 45 minutes. That's what he was supposed to be doing, Jess. He drew the vibe. If you ever draw by in any kind of a tournament, Jess, you're... No, I never have, Gorilla. I have in my amateur background. Now, here comes our other colleague. Gene Oakland. Gene. Sit down. Welcome. Let me see if I can get a response out of Gene Oakland. Gene Oakland, do you feel this is fair? Junkyard dog drawing by doing nothing. Randy Macho Man Savage tested to the max by the junkyard by the Dynamite Kid and now forced to come out here and wrestle a fresh opponent. Now, Jesse, in my opinion, what's fair is fair. Junkyard dog by the luck of the draw certainly receiving that by, but it could have happened to anybody. Yeah. I told him the answer I expect out of you, Oakland. The Macho Man could have drawn the vibe. Absolutely. It wouldn't have been unfair enough to mention either. Without question, Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura, both of you, of course, being ring veterans. I know you're gonna have to concur with me, but as I say, this is perhaps one of the greatest spectaculars of all time. Well, we've said that on a number of occasions already, Gene. It's just unreal. As always, whenever the World Wrestling Federation puts its superstars on display, you notice the junkyard dog is making no bones about it. He's gonna break every rule there is choking Savage in the corner. Well, I was watching that, but I guess first and foremost, I was watching Elizabeth. You would, Oakland. Look out, Macho Man hard to the corner, but comes off with a nice clothesline and caught the junkyard dog coming in right underneath the throat, and the dog went down hard. He's hurt. Macho Man over for the cover. He's not gonna get him. Wow! What a kickoff. Whoo! Well, he ought to. He's fresh enough. Oh, please, Jesse. Yes. Why did you keep harping on that? Don't pound a good thing into the ground. Look out. I tell it like it is, Oakland. J.Y.D. threw that center rope out onto the concrete, but on his feet, Macho Man up the top. Watch out! Look out below. Boom! Double axe handle right to the back of the neck of the junkyard dog. Patented Randy Macho Man Savage move. Be very surprised if he'll be able to make it back into the ring after that kind of a shot, but look at Randy Savage. He's hurting. Oh, what a shot off that the top of that third turnbuckle. Look out. Look at this. Savage crawling on all fours sneaking around the corner. The dog doesn't see him. Another shot. Another classic Pearl Harbor attack. You'll realize my dad. Wow! He just rammed him into the steel post. I call that doing what you gotta do to win. Well, that's just like drawing a bye in the semifinal. Not quite, Okerlin. What would you know about a bye? You ain't never done nothing athletic in your life except tie your shoes. Look out. Savage now out onto the floor. And I notice you're wearing Velcros now. And Savage going to the top once more. Not again! At some 12, 14 feet down. And Macho Man takes another shot. The double axe handle kind. He may be well out of this right now. You may be looking at the winner crawling back into the ring right here. J.Y.D.'s got to show me some guts here. I don't know if there's anything to be had. Look at this. There comes a chair. Oh. How in the world. Pulling out all the stops. The Macho Man. Gorilla Monsoon tell me if I'm correct. Could not. The Macho Man been disqualified and Junkyard Dog automatically been declared the winner of this wrestling classic. Absolutely. I think so. No place for a chair and anything. However, Bulls Man have been going to the well here. Look at another sneak attack. On all fours like a dog. Comes up on the blind side. Oh, look at this. Referee counting away here. He would be justified certainly in disqualifying the Macho Man Randy Savage right here. Junkyard Dog absorbing a whole heap of punishment. And Savage at the last second dives back in. This crowd not really appreciative of the course of events taking place on this particular evening. There is no time limit incidentally in this match. This championship match has no time limit. There must be a winner. The Macho Man going up again. Not again. Oh, no. Come on. Give me a break. Look at the dog. He's waiting on him. He caught him. The Macho Man got caught. Oh, what a headbutt. Oh. Holy macro. The dog unleashing with a number of headbutts. Jesse, I think you're going to have to admit that I don't think there's too many that can take a series of headbutts like that. What a move. I think more devastating than that was that particular move right there because the back and lower spine area of Randy Savage is in deep, deep trouble. Headbutt. He's hooked up in those ropes. Come on, referee. Get in there and do your job. Get him out of there. Wait a minute. Now it's a different story, Jesse. Oh, look at this. Right in front of the referee, Oakland. Right in front of him. Elizabeth screaming at the referee to step in there and get her man out of the ropes. And the referee is doing just that right now. He's out. Oh, an eye gouge. Stopped the dog getting in his tracks. This capacity caught on her feet. Reversal as Savage goes in. The dog made a cardinal mistake there, dropping his head. Look out. Oh. Head first. Down to the canvas. Referee. Look at Elizabeth. He's out of it. He's knocked out. The referee laying the count. There's a six count. Seven. He's not going to make it. He's out. It's all over. Oh, my. Oh, look at that. Just tearing up now. This place has gone bananas. Holy mackerel. Pandemonium broken loose here in the horizon as the junkyard dog has won this unbelievable 16 man elimination tournament. And look at Savage. He is completely out of it, unable to make it back into the ring. Let's go up to our ring announcer for the official announcement. Ladies and gentlemen, the macho man, Randy Savage, was counted out of the ring. The referee awards the decision to the winner of the tournament, the junkyard dog.
