Friends, is there anything more important in the world than a good friend? Yet sometimes we treat them as though they're a diamond, doesn't it? I was just going to come and say goodbye. Charlie here was best man at Gary's wedding, but he's not exactly at his best right now. If he gets behind a wheel, he could do his licence or something a lot worse. Right now, he needs a friend. I'll get you a cab, tiger. Cab? I've got a wheel in front of me. He's got a friend. I'll get a cab, please. She had the courage to insist that he takes a cab, and he had the good sense to take it. And in my book, it not only makes her a good hostess, but a real friend. Whether it's a party or a drink down the pub, it's up to all of us to keep our friends off the road if they've had a few too many. Drive them home yourself, call them a cab, or give them a bed. Sometimes it's not easy, but at least you can try. What sort of friend are you? Would you let a friend drive if he's had too much to drink?
