HHHH delay 워요 S events Financial Each time Me captures material Welcome to Dance On. On this tape we're going to walk the dance away from the camera, then we'll walk it towards the camera, and then we'll do our usual thing and dance two or three sequences around the floor so you can get the flow of the dance. This tape was to have contained the presentation whilst, but unfortunately due to many and varied circumstances, it was like a comedy of errors believe me, we have been unable to put it on tape. It was planned for the next half of this tape, but as I said, due to circumstances, it just didn't happen. So we're going to release two tapes. This one, which is Dance On, and contains 15 dances, and then we will release probably May, April, May of 2005, a tape called Happy Dancing, which will contain another 15 or 16 dances. Kay and I are very appreciative of the support that You The Dancers of Australia and believe it or not, other parts of the world have given us by the purchasing of our tapes. The support we've received since we started this venture in 1993 with Dancing For Joy has enabled us to donate on behalf of You The Dancers of Australia $58,000 to cancer research and cancer support groups. Groups like Malcolm Sargent Cancer Fund for Children, Canteen, Wanker Wish Foundation, Kids with Cancer. We've even donated to Doctors Without Borders, which we both think is a very, very worthy organisation. From the team, Ray on camera, Margaret on sound, Kay and I The Dancers, we thank you for your continued support and thank you for your purchase most sincerely. Happy Dancing. Good morning. The Jordan Quickstep. We start off by holding a ballroom hall. I'm holding a cheque sheet here, a little bit of paper that has the directions I was supposed to take on it. Now we start off with one walk and then we'll actually do a natural turn. One, two, three, a natural turn. Walk, one, two, three, a natural turn. Then have a back walk, which is quick, quick, slow. Run and finish. One, two, three. We then go walk and it's a quick walk. Walk, one, two, walk, step. Now one, two, three, a natural turn and a cheque back. Now a chaffing first, progressive chaffing and a full block wave of the ball. Do a natural spin turn and four, five, six in reverse. Where we go back when we start. Now we turn around, we'll come back towards the camera doing exactly the same thing. This time the wall is on the other side of the hall. So we can walk, in wave, one, two, three, a natural turn, a back walk, running, finish. Walk and it's a quick walk. Walk into a natural turn, a cheque back, chassis, progressive chassis, full block. Do a natural spin turn and four, five, six, reverse back in the starting direction. That's the ball. Place it to the left with a tack. Place it to the right with a click. Cross over the bone, zigzag, tack. Now it's back, replace, forward, tack, forward, replace, back, tack. Lay this doing normal. Now we have a side, front, side, hip twist. The other double hold hands down low and we should have a tack in the end. Then we have a side, forward, side, turn, tack. Side, forward, side, tack. Now, note you can break towards the back, front, side, tack. Lay this, turn, run around. Now just pick your hold. We have a side, forward, side, tack. Now we're going to go basically to the left and basically to the right, the layman doing a number of turns. So side, close, side, tack, back and tack. Dropping into a ball and a mole, loose ball and a mole, boxed it, tack, tack. End of sequence. So we'll turn around and we'll come back. So we have a side, close, side, tack, side, close, side, tack. One, two, three, double hold, clean it. Behind, across, over, tack, double wrap, back, replace, forward, tack. Forward, replace, back, tack. Lay this doing normal. Side, forward, side, and a hip twist. A side, close, side, tack, side, close, side, tack. Over, back, back, close, forward, tack. Side, close, side, tack. Lay this doing normal and tack. Lay this back and tack. Side, close, forward, tack. Side, close, back, tack. And that's a walkthrough on the... We're in shadow and mole. Man is right, hand is right, shoulder. We have a forward basis, forward, face, side, back, face. And we have a side, full arm, chair. Now we have a forward, side, forward, close, side, flick. So we go forward, close, side, flick. And we have a side, closed, side, drop. We can show you how to drop the mole. And we have a hip twist, forward, six. And then we have a run through. And then we have the hands come up. So the hands stay down and we do the hook-a-range turn. Now the hands come up and we do these stupid breaks. And then we get into this turn, side, stand. Then we have heel, point, close, heel, point, close. When you do that, the hands go down and come back, down, come back. Then we have, we turn out. And this is called a side, drop, side, hip, bump. So we go two, three, forward, bump. One, two, three. Spot, turn, back, show back. And when you do this the side movement, we go out to the side. So you've done your heel points. And you come back here, we go two, three, forward, bump. One, two, three. Again, oh sorry. We're going out to the side. We go out, in, forward, bump, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. Then you have your spot, turn, then you can show it off. And the cube breaks, which is close, forward, back, back. Now we step across, together, side, stand. That's very quick because a stand and heel point comes almost one on top of the other. And they do come on on top of the other. So if we do that again, we go forward, replace, back, replace, forward, replace, back. Now one, two, three, stand, point. That's the tempo that you've got to move it. Close, point, close. That's the heel point. Your toes are in the air and your heels on the floor. Okay, so here we are back with a shadow hold technique. We've got the hands on the legs, the shoulders. And we have this forward, replace, back, make face, hook around, turn. Now forward, side, click, side, forward, side, forward, hit your wrist, run through, side, pop a range. Now the heel breaks, two, three, four, one, two, three, four. Now forward, heel, side, tap. And into the point. Point, then side, bump, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, two, four, two, tap, and shadow. And what we do is we dance it out to the other. And then we're back in. We started by taking a walk in a loose, boring mall. And then we're back in. Now we're going to walk in a loose, boring mall. Commonly called a closed space and holding. Roughly in Latin. Now we have a forward basic. A back basic turn into a common arm. A check. A crossover, run, hook, and go around. Then we have a side, close, side. Then we cross together, come back, and you're in a more closed space and holding it. Now side, close, side, tap. Side, close, side. Step, flick, point, lift, back, close, back, lift. Now we have a back, or a turn, an inward turn, then we have a pop turn. Then we have this basics with a hand in the shoulder. And when the man does the basic, he's supposed to put his hand in his bum while he works his kick, like that. Okay? So the hand is on the duck's, like a duck's tail, gentlemen. And it's there, come back, hand on the tail again, back that way. Now we'll turn around so you can see what we're doing the other way. So this side, walks over there, and the line of dance is that way. So we're going basic, back, basic turn, common arm, double hold, man bone running, crossover step, back, close, forward. Side, close, side, tap, side, close, side. And then a step, flick, point, lift, side, close, back, close, back, lift. Turning, side, close, back, the leg, out, the turn, and then there's shift, close, shift, and back. So the side base, you end up with your stone, back in this closed, this closed hole. Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay. The Christiana Cha Cha. This is where the man takes the lady's right hand in his left hand and it's called an open facing position. This time we're facing diagonally to the wall against the line of dance. Gentlemen and ladies, back in. We're going to do a basic into 11 to 15 of tops, then we're going to do a fall away, a check, and come back to end up facing the wall in a handshake hole. So it goes like this. Two, three, four, and one. Round it back and pop. The fall away. Check and back to handshake hole. Now we have one to 15 of the Turkish towel into one, two basic and two forward walks. So I'm doing a one, two of basic and two forward walks. While I'm doing that, the lady's going to do a spiral turn and a lock. And we'll demonstrate that to you when we're finished. So Turkish towel. Two, three, four, and one. Two, three, four, and one. The lady's going to do a spiral and we'll do a one, two, three, four. Now I've put my hands on the lady's face, which you can probably see, and we do a rock, rock, chuck, chuck, chuck, release, hold, do a spot turn and close. Then we do a rock, rock, chuck, chuck, chuck, release, hold, chuck, chuck, chuck. Now we're going to do two loose locks, forward, the lady's going to do a foot of the towel, two walks of sideclips to down position. So we're going to go two, three, four, and one. One, two, three, four. Now, the lady's going to do a solo turn to the left. We can do a hockey stick. You're up two. The lady's going to do a hockey stick, we're going to do a compact chasing. So it's two, three, four, and one. Two, three, four, and one. Come into lock and finish. Now we'll just go back on that. While the lady's going to do the hockey stick, the lady's going to go in one, two, three, four, and close. Now, the man steps forward and you go two, three, four, and one. Jump up and down the spot. The lady's coming forward, she's going to close. The lady's going to close. Two, three, four, and she locks. Then she does a solo turn. We go back, replace, and lock forward as the lady locks back. And that's how we walk her through that way. Now we'll do it the other way. Now this time, we'll do it the other way. We've got this open facing hold, so we're going to be replacing the little tops, the ball way, and check back. Now, the lady's going to turn this out a little bit. She's going to come around with a spiral turn and lock. We'll do a rock, rock, cha cha cha, spot, turn, and close. Rock, rock, cha cha cha, spot, turn, cha cha cha. Lock, lock, one, two, three, four. Cha cha cha, and we lock forward. And that's how we do the, what's her name, the Christiano. Now, a little bit of the spiral. We'll just do the Turkish towel so we can get into position to do the spiral and the one, two basic, one, two, the basic, and the two forward walks. So we do the Turkish towel. Now the lady's going to come around in front, do the lock forward. The man's going back, replaces the weight that's forward and forward and places his hands on the lady's hips. So we'll do it this way, across, we'll do it across the line, it's going to be difficult to keep, but we'll do it across the line so that the camera can pick up where I'm putting my hands so I'm not being rude or anything like that. Here's the Turkish towel. Now the spiral. And I put my hand there, but I'm pulling out. And then we do the rock, rock, rock, cha cha cha. So I've released the hold, cha cha cha. And you can see the hands have gotten back to the camera. But that's what we do in the Christian. Now this one is the wide open one waltz. This starts from ballroom hold, diagonal ascension, diagonal to the centre, line of dance. Starts with the first three of an open first turn, cha cha to the left, one two three of an entrance turn, we'll back lock. Now a closed impetus turn, you can do a fall away lift, closed impetus, fall away and lift. Now we're facing away to the wall, down the line of dance. We're going to compress the chassis, give it a natural fall away. We're going to give it a hop across, drive down. And coming out of that indoor weave, you'll fall the block and it has to make some change. Nothing very hard about that. We'll get back to the other line. And we're facing, drive to the centre, as you walk over there. So we've got the first three of an open first turn, cha cha to the left, one two three of an entrance turn, back lock. Now the closed impetus turn, we'll fall away and lift, coming on chassis, do a natural fall away, use the hop across, into the wave, forward lock, the head slice will shine. There we are. Now the first one, the reverse, starts in ballroom mode, diagonal against line of dance, oh sorry diagonal, line of dance. Now we're going to do a forward closed change, first three of an actual turn and an open impetus. So we go forward closed change, first three of an actual turn, an open impetus turn. Now we have, coming up the strip, we have a hop from a common art, that's what we're going to call a common art. So we've got a hop from a common art, coming back for a turn and a hop up. Now we've got two locks, quick and slow, quick, slow, and we come back for a hinge, we come back, and we have a chassis from a common art. Now we have a hop across, into a wave, four and six wave, one, two, three, four, five, six, we're going to do a natural step turn, now four, five, six, reverse, four, five, six. So we end up facing where we started, only the first one down the hall. So turning around, we'll get back the other way. So we have this forward closed change, first three of an actual turn, well open impetus, coming up the hopper, and we come back, returning higher, quick lock and slow lock, and we're going to do the same there, there's the hinge, now the chassis, and the hop across, into a wave, in a natural step, and a six, five turn, and a four, five, six reverse, only the last one. Okay. That's the Champagne Mots, scripted at 60 bars per minute, or 58 to 60, we're going to dance around 52. Now we start off in open extended hold, and we have a step apart, and we turn and face one another without a break. Now we have the two sides closed, and you must close, we have two sides closed, it's back. At this time we close without a break. Now, the lady's going to present, we recover, and we join left hand to left hand. Now we step, and the man is in the back area, the lady's forward area, come back, take the hand over the top, turning, you're now in a scaleless hole. Come back and the lady's still wants to close. Now we're going to do a underarm turn, and back, lady's man double, now it's one, two, three, which is dead, bonday, and forward lady. One, two, three, bonday, forward lady. The lady's going to step across in front of the man, close, and then she's going to step forward without a break. All I've done is put the weight on the right foot, step forward, close, there's no break, there's no break on the lady's right foot. Now, the next movement is serious turns, one, counter-combinator, across in front, through the parlor, and then counter-combinator, goes one, two, three, one, two, three, then one, two, three. Make another step, one, two, three, now we're solid, turn our books, one, two, three, we don't close, then side closed, forward, no close, and we have four bars of natural, er, new bar, so one, two, three, two, two, three, three, two, three, four, two, three, and we're ready to step apart again. Now, we come back the other way, the floor's a little sticky in the spot, so we've got to make sure we can move. So, we're open extended, step apart, we come together, side closed, side closed, that's the other way, lady's turn, man's turn, man's turn, man's turn, man's turn, left, clear, now we come back over, we've got the right hand, so there's a hole, come back, under arm, turn, back to the alleyway, now this is a deep, back, wrong day, forward, leg in front, now, one, two, three, one, two, 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, step 2, 3, solo outcomes. And side close, forward, no close, 1, 2, 3, reduce and solo. Now, the script says no close. Kay and I have bad habits. And we tend to close. Step close, step close, and I'm trying to wait back. You'll have to forgive us because it's a habit we've developed and the script doesn't say that's what we're going to end up doing. So here we go with the White Open and the White Open. This time we've got the eternity foxtrot. Now this starts in ball and mould, the place where you're going to ball and dance. Now we've got a whisk and then a feather and a promenade. So we've got a little whisk and a feather, a promenade, or prom-promenade I should say. Now we have 160 reverse line. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Now you might have noticed we curved the first three ourselves in line of dance. So I'm backing line of dance. Now we've got 1, 2, 3, and 2, 3, we see we pay that curve further. And the timing is slow, quick, and quick. So it's slow, quick, and quick. And if you can't handle that, just do 4 quicks. Try and maintain your balance. Now we've got a back feather, if you're a featherman, now we've got an open double line, lady goes back with her heels together, step the other hand the other way. Now we continue to hop across and we end up with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Now we're going to do 1, 2, 3, reverse line. 1, 2, 3, 4. Now we've got a hover, 2 promenade, 4 way open slide. So we're back to the hover, 4 way, and then you go to the open slide, and then flip to the side and close. So we'll go back the other way, and kind of stay in the line of the file. I've got to keep where I'm going. Okay, now you go to the wrist. And then the feather, promenade, you do the leg, 1, 6, turn them down. Now that, jingling, back feather, feather ending, you know, notice the teleline, continue to hop across, you do 1, 4, reverse line, the hover, and the 4 way, quickly over the slide, and slip to the other side, back to the starting position. That's the turn to foxtrot. Okay. The fortune slow foxtrot starts going to center line of decks. More involved, and we walk slow, slow. Now we check feather, back to the hover, and move from there. Now we do a 3 step, and now a natural turn, 1, 3, chassis to the right, into a whisk, a wing, now we have a fern feather, and we have a back fern feather. Now we have a teleline, do a natural 4 way slow, into a chain direction. We have the 2 walks, and we have the chain feather, rush on, wing, do a 3 step, into a natural turn, and now a 2 step, chassis to the right, into a whisk, a lady's wing, a curved feather, a back curved feather, an open teleline, do a natural 4 way, step 5, a lady's turn, and we come into a head rotation chain. Now we'll show you the timing on the curved feather and the wing, we do the chassis to the right, chassis to the right, wing, slow, quick, quick, slow, quick, quick, quick, quick, quick, quick, there we go, slow, quick, quick, quick, quick, quick, quick, quick, slow, slow. Okay, and that's the fortune-slower part. I'll have to stop this okay business. The latent sorter. Okay, this one starts, all of all are involved, man faces the lady back behind him. We have two walks, one of three of sixes out, then the lady will do a swivel at the end of it, and go into left twist, and then a twist turn. So we go walk, walk, one of three of sixes out, lady swivel, and go across, to left twist, and the lady unwinds. Okay, I'm now back in line of bends. Now we've got one of three of a zigzag, and it'll sway left and right. One, two, double hold, sway, sway. Now, we have side close side into a shadow hold. Side close side, full way to shadow hold. And there's nothing that you can say that we take the hand down or over the top. We've took the license with us, decided we were over the top. So we go side close side, over the top, the full way to shadow position, both closing. Now, lady's got her right hand, left hand on my right shoulder, and I've got hold of her right hand, my right hand. So it's a reverse shadow hold. Now, both my foot forward, lady turn, we close, and now we step back in double hold. Now we've got to change in place through color hold. So step to the side, back into double hold. Now we've got an outward turn with a cross, and step back and close. And then we have an underarm turn, which is side close, back close. We walk here, we come back, we flip to it, and side close. Now we have two walks, one through the zigzag, lady swivels, man hooks, and we go across to the twist turn. Lady out of line, now we go through the zigzag. One, two, three, sway, sway, side close, side, feel the full way through reverse shadow, we close to that weight, my hand. Lady turns her weight, step forward, lady does that turn back and back there. Now change in place through color hold to double hold, an outward turn with a cross, take a lady's hand and back and close. Now side close, back close. Chair, step, chair, back to slip to it, and side close. Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Lady does an element of the turn while the man steps forward, and lady goes under his raised lift gun. So step, check, back, double hold from the side close. And the same thing the other way, step, check, back, side close. We now have a common heart walk, common heart turn, side close. Slow, slow, quick, quick, quick, quick. Let me have this one a little lower, so we go back the other way. Give it a little more room for the camera. We have two walks, four-way reverse, and turn, turn, half-check, back, side close. Common heart walks, a solo turn, outward, an inward turn, four-way, zigzag away, straight walk from there. A swivel, and check, zigzag to a point, an element of turn, like a spot turn from lady, side close. Back, and back, side close. Common heart walks, and a side close. What I'll try and do here is call you some quicks and slows. This is where we might get knocked up, but at least we might give you an idea. Slow, slow, quick, quick, slow, slow, slow, slow, quick, quick, slow, slow, quick, quick, slow, quick, quick, slow, ratings live, slides slide criticism again webicking The Brandy Blues, ballroom hole, AC minor dance, two walks, side-to-side, outside the check, then outside check, going centre, zi-tai, now open reverse and close, now we've got inward, outward turns and inward turns, slow, quick, quick, quick, quick, slow, serve when walks, slow, slow, slow, quick, quick, slow, now we have two steps, step, tap, step, tap, step on the sideway turn and close, then we have the lady who is going to change place the corner and go home, you're on that point and forward close, side close, so slow, slow, quick, quick, slow, quick, quick, slow, quick, quick, quick, quick, now we go back the other way, so we've got two walks, outside close, the outside check and the outside check, going centre, then zi-tai, quick, quick, quick, quick, open reverse, slow, quick, quick, slow, and close, outward turns, inward turns, all quicks, slow walks, serve again, up together and back, take a double hole, step, point, step, point, sole outward and close, then it's slow, slow, quick, quick, slow, ronde, point the side, up together, cross together, lady does element turn, knee, right, all over. And we have the September blues. Lower shadow hole number seven, which is the English number seven, facing the lady down, so turn the lady down, which is right hand on the lady's right shoulder blade, actually the other way around on the side, this is so we can do this zig-zag in an easier manner, you can go down here if you want, but it makes it more difficult. So we have two walks, and a zig-zag in shadow, check and replace them, two walks, zig-zag, one, two, three, four, check, replace, now turning force at the common arm, we double hole, we step, check, back, change and turn, now step, point, step, point, and sole outward turn, feet apart, facing cross-line, lady facing, all men facing centre, change of place, one, two, three, now the man has a zig-zag, the lady has an outside check, so the man goes one, two, three, and the lady is walked straight forward, double hole. We now have a swivel, into a lock and check, we go swivel, forward, lock and check, back together, that's recovery, two common arm walks, common arm turn, slow, slow, quick, quick, slow, now fall away, which is open, and then an inward turn, back into shadow hold, so we'll get our way away, hopefully we won't run over the camera, and we walk, and we have a zig-zag, check, and that four step turn, step and chair, back change, swivel turn, step, point, and point, sole outward turn, change of place, zig-zag, the man, lady is right here, swivel, lock and check, back, change, step, and common arm turn, right around, then a fall away, and back to fourth step turn, to shadow. Quick, now in common arm, and a good forward, outward turn, fall away, and an inward turn, to fall away, back to fourth step, we go, you're right, you have to hear this one, fall out, in, bump, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, and then we have a back turn in motion, so side close, side flick, and we have a mock, forward, and step forward, so then simply go back, replace, mock, chug, chug, chug, spot, turn, chug, chug, and close. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.
