I hope you like that film, I really do. Let me know what you feel about The Far Country. Now I said to you earlier, and I'll say this again, I know with my own friends that sometimes we get into disagreements about a film and they say, I don't get it, why is this such a special movie? Well I have to fall back on the words of Franz Werfel, a propel of The Song of Bernadette. To those who understand no explanation is necessary, to those who don't, no explanation is possible. I mean you either like it or you don't. But believe me, The Far Country, with concentration and maybe the second and third viewing and you really start to relish it so much, I guess it's almost an acquired taste and that taste, once acquired, will always satisfy you if you can find an outlet for it. And The Far Country to me is a very special movie. And by the way, I hope you're thrilled about the quality of the colour print. May I say thank you to all the viewers who let us know how thrilled they were last Saturday night with the print of The Egyptian and White Savage. It's lovely to know that people appreciate quality and obviously judging by your enthusiasm we're very excited about that. And the number of people, I was up at Childstown about a week ago and the number of people who said to me how thrilled they were about The Egyptian being on was absolutely extraordinary and also a great deal of pleasure was shown in tonight's double as well. Well what's coming up? Well we have a lovely program next Saturday night. Here's something rather rare, I bet it's a long time since you've seen a Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. Bing Crosby, Rhonda Fleming, William Bendix and Sir Cedric Hardwick. A great supporting cast. It's one of Bing's best pictures, Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court from the novel by Mark Twain. And because it's a Paramount movie of the 40s it has another beautiful colour print. It's astonishingly beautiful. For all of you who adore Doris Day and that must mean about three quarters of Sydney. For all of you we're going to follow Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court with Doris Day, Gene Nelson, S.S.C. Carl, Billy DeWolf and a wonderful cast in the delightful Lullaby of Broadway. Also in the cast of fabulous Gladys George. So that's a program to look forward to next Saturday night. And here now a preview of another exciting attraction for the Golden Years of Hollywood. The Golden Years of Hollywood It's all very clear now, isn't it? He wants Thessaly, not you. He wants to get rid of you just as he did the first Mrs. Carroll. She wouldn't hesitate for a second to take you away from me. She could, but she cannot, can she? I love you, Sally. I love you. I wanted you all to myself and I can't help you because you're afraid. That's it. You're afraid to do anything about it? Don't you ever tell me that. Don't you ever tell me I'm afraid of anything. Open the door and let me go. No, I can't let you go. If anyone ever knows, if anyone ever finds out. Give me the key. Wow, I can hardly wait to see the two Mrs. Carrolls again. Coming soon to the Golden Years of Hollywood. Coming even sooner. In fact, in a few minutes time, the brilliant Destry rides again.
