CEL Communications and Entertainment Limited Hello there, welcome to another movie in my movie collection. And it's Cabin in the Sky, a favourite musical and one you'll adore. The first feature directed by Vincent Minnelli and starring Ethel Waters, the star of the original Broadway production and you'll adore her. And featured with her we have Eddie Rochester Anderson, who of course was always with Jack Benny on radio and television. Lena Horne in her first major screen role and she's gorgeous, you'll love her. And here are three interesting people. Louis Armstrong, yes, on the far left. Rex Ingram, remember him as the genie in Thief of Baghdad and the delightful Mountain Moreland. Among dancers you'll have to give special attention to John Bubbles Sublet, he's fabulous. And Duke Ellington and his band appear in the film and here's someone very special, Butterfly McQueen. Remember Pressing and Gone with the Wind, so many wonderful people, a great score and I'm always wondering which musical sequence did Busby Berkeley direct. I hope you'll adore Cabin in the Sky. Isn't that film marvelous? I hope you like Cabin in the Sky as much as I do. How wonderful it must have been on Broadway and now we have the film forever. You'll enjoy it more and more the more you see it. Have you worked out which musical number may have been directed by Busby Berkeley? Please let me know if you think you know. I hope you're enjoying other movies in my movie collection. The current ones are really terrific. For example, Possessed, Joan Crawford and Clark Gable. It's an amazing film. Each time I see this one I see new things in it I haven't noticed before and Joan is absolutely brilliant. Also, They Are Expendable directed by John Ford. Robert Montgomery gives one of the greatest performances I've ever seen any actor give on the screen. It's one of my five favorite war films. Also, Topper, Hal Roach's delightful production of The 30s, one of the two movies that made Cary Grant a great star and he's co-starred with Constance Bennet and Roland Young. Oh and by the way on the subject of great movies, I love my collection and I'm so pleased so many of you are getting all of them. But here are two that are very special to me. The Secret Garden with Margaret O'Brien and Herbert Marshall, a great story for everybody and Joan Crawford with Melvin Douglas and Conrad Veidt in a woman's face. You must not miss these two great titles and I hope you'll enjoy more and more the movies in the Bill Collins movie collection. CEL Communications and Entertainment Limited.
