Tonight frustration for China and Britain in talks on the future of Hong Kong and Russia's political crisis continues as the Russian parliament shows signs of cracking. First the United Nations chief in Cambodia has left Phnom Penh, officially ending the UN's largest ever peacekeeping mission. Yasushi Akashi left the country with an appeal to the international community not to forget Cambodia. From Phnom Penh, Australia Television's Sue Darny reports. After a banquet given by the new King of Cambodia, Noradom Sihanouk, the UN commander was farewelled with full military honours at the airport. Before boarding a night flight en route to New York, Sanderson said the UN mission in Cambodia had been the greatest ever in terms of size and complexity. For the 18 month operation, Sanderson commanded 16,000 soldiers including unarmed military observers, signalers, medics, aviators and 12 battalions.
