Three Australians have been sentenced to 50 years' jail each in Thailand for smuggling heroin. Lyle Doniger, Jane Mackenzie and Deborah Spinner, all from Sydney, had death sentences commuted because they confessed. They were shocked at the severity of the sentence, saying they'd been set up in a joint Australian Thai police sting as an example to others. But a much happier ending today for 13 children and one adult who'd been missing in a remote part of Western Australia for two days.
