More and more American babies are born to mothers with no prenatal care.
These babies are often smaller and are more likely to need special medical attention.
Yet many of them won't receive even basic medical care because they have no health insurance.
And many more will suffer the ill effects of hunger and poverty.
Is this any way for us to treat the next generation of Americans?
